Good food and great service. Took a little longer than expected to get our meals. Comfortable to sit and talk on a Sunday morning.

WIll never eat here again , and it used to be my favorite place in town. Sure, foods good, waitresses are great. But today when we went for lunch, and the card reader wouldn't read my friends card the owner THREW HIS CARD BACK AT HIM ANGRY. When my friend asked if it irritated him he said yes! Scott suggested he enter it manually, he wanted to pay for his food. The owner called a kid to the register, told him to enter it manually and tell him his business was no longer welcome! WHen I called to find out what happened the owner told me to have a nice day and hung up on me! Not acceptable, not happy, not EVER going back. read more

Lux is our go-to for breakfast no matter what. The staff is friendly, the food is really well priced, and OHMIGOSH is it amazing! I always get a skillet. The pan comes out brimming with fluffy eggs, hash browns made perfectly, and tons of meat and cheese. By the time I'm full, I've barely made a dent in the skillet, and then I have three days worth of breakfast! It's busy on the weekends, but completely worth the wait. I'd rather wait for 20-30 minutes for amazing service and food, than leave and go anywhere else. Highly recommended! read more

I have been to this restaurant a few times a few years back and the food was good. However, we returned there last week and were so disappointed. We ordered a scrambled egg and potatoes and a biscuits and gravy. The eggs were bland. Biscuits and gravy was the worst I ever had. The gravy was clear and missed the flavor of milk. In fact, I believe the gravy consisted of a lot of some kind of flour flour and little milk. I have read other reviews praising how nice the staff was. I agree the staff was nice but that is what expected of them. Other reviews also praised the portions were huge. I don't really care much for huge portions. I prefer to have good food (quality) over huge portion (quantity) but tasteless and/or bad food. It was said if the meal was good, it was worth it. But if you had a bad meal, you wasted your money. I will neither return there again nor recommend anyone to this restaurant. read more

Great breakfast! If you order two eggs they bring 4! Their sausage patties are the size of hamburger patties! The pancakes are the size of your face! Great value. Very clean! Right off of 94! read more

My only complaint about this restaurant is that it's not in my apartment. I love this place so much. Being new to the area, I wasn't sure where to take my guests. We chose this place because it got good reviews on Yelp. My oh my, did they go above and beyond. We got a table within 5 minutes of getting there despite it being Sunday brunch time. The lovely servers were polite and amicable. What astounded us was the speed at which the food was made. The prices are so modest but the portions are anything but. We were hardly able to finish half of our food before we called it a day. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful food, wonderful people. We left satisfied and full. This is hands down the BEST place for a homestyle breakfast and lunch! The food is terrific, the portions are huge, enough for a meal later, and the prices are very good. Awesome breakfast joint. Huge portions, great homemade taste, decent prices and friendly staff. I loved the option of being able to get a short stack of pancakes instead of toast with my skillet with no extra charge, unlike other places that charge you almost as much as the main meal to do that. If your from out town on a road trip like us, do yourself a favor and stop here instead of that generic Denny's down the street. read more

Our favorite place in town, for breakfast. The servings are huge and food delicious! In spite of almost always being busy, we never wait too long for a table or for service. The prices are good, too. We took a group of family there and they all loved it! There are MANY breakfast options, which make it hard to choose. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault, as their servings are huge. read more

This is a great spot for breakfast. Stopped in early for breakfast because it was the only place open at 6am and was not disappointed! I went to Lux's because I've had 2 other ppl tell me they're good. I have to say this place is a little dated but pretty clean and a little bit nicer then the mom pop places I usually find good food at. Even their menu's are great quality. But I have to say my husbands $8 burger was large, but was a preformed frozen (cooked) dry burger. I got the chicken salad sandwich (the waitress forgot to ask on what bread) and I could tell this chicken salad is made with canned chicken. Very bland. I'll give it another try. But at Chili's type of prices I probably won't keep going back. read more

Very nice place to eat IF the owner isn't there. He is a major A-hole. My husband and I just had a horrible experience there because the owner was being nasty to customers, had all the staff upset from yelling at them and the atmosphere was tense. Normally, the food is excellent, the staff friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere pleasant and homey. I told the manager if I come back, I'll be sure to ask if the owner is there so I'll know if I want to eat there or not. I felt really bad for the waitresses for having to deal with such a jerk boss. read more
