Can't believe I never thought to write a review for Lux de Ville handbags. I have carried Lux de Ville handbags and wallets for several years and it's the only handbag I carry. From the first one I purchased from a seller 15 (or so) years ago I have carried nothing else. I have collected several styles including the Lux de Ville luggage. These handbags are quality made, they are unique, and they are punk rock! I have received countless compliments on these handbags over the years for their beautiful, classy, artistic style and I'm always proud to talk about my bag and wallet! I love them so much I can't bear to throw old ones out, they have become part of my Lux de Ville museum. I will also say that anytime over these several years I have reached out to Lux de Ville with a question, they are always quick to respond. My husband Jerry÷rigged the zipper so I could use the purse. After about a month of on and off use, the fabric has started tearing under one of the handles (see photos). These bags are of very low quality in materials and manufacture. They are cute designs but not worth the high prices. read more

I've been purchasing LDV purses for YEARS. Most of the purses I have were purchased from resellers but I have a few from their site. I just recently made another purchase from their site and although the shipping was longer than their site stated, I received my new purse within a week of ordering (I was local) so.. not bad. All of the purses, wallets & cases I have are still in excellent condition and these literally last for YEARS. At least mine do. I did email CS once regarding the shipping status and they got back to me the next day I think. I saw all the negative reviews and had to at least share my positive experience. I purchased a purse from Lux De Ville through the Shop app option on their website. The millisecond I hit send, I realized that the default address was for a gift I had sent to Utah at Christmas. I immediately tried to change the order through Shop (no option, other than to contact the company directly.) LuxDeVille doesn't have a working phone number and I sent four emails to customer service begging them to change to my address. Instead of a reply from Lux, I got a "good news, your order has been shipped to Utah" notice. I responded AGAIN and said they must be very efficient if they had already sent a purse the very next day without checking their email but I really needed them to stop that delivery if it hadn't gone out yet. I put a dispute on the charges as a means to get ANYone to respond to me. Three responses, each contradicting the information of what they had just told me 1. We got your emails and are updating your address. 2. Looks like they printed the label for Utah but didn't send. We'll write your address out manually. 3. Looks like it did ship to Utah but we will send out another one to your address. I followed up ten days later with still no purse and no response. Finally, with no further contact, I got a notice that the purse had finally shipped... TO UTAH!!!! When I lost my temper and asked how on earth this could STILL have happened, I got a reply that I had given a refund option and so rather than send me the purse they had messed up and promised, they just (this WEEK) sent the purse to the wrong address and cancelled the order. Their response to my anger? I don't care what happened here. We are more than happy to correct our mistakes and help our customers. You opened up a chargeback ((in the first 24 hours before any of this!!)) so we refunded your money. ....... It's probably for the best, I don't know if I could even LOOK at their stupid purse at this point. But hopefully this experience may warn someone else before you go to the trouble of getting into all this. I purchased a purse for $98.. The itsy bitsy purse.. I even paid the $20 for priority shipping. And it was supposed to be a mother's day gift for my lady. While lux de Ville did create a shipping label they never did actually ship it. There was no movement for 3 days. I emailed their customer service requesting a refund on my shipping since they never actually shipped it and all i got in return was a condescending attitude from their representative.. They cancelled my order and told me never to buy from them again.. What horrible customer service .. Not only do they not offer you are shipping they waste your time and money and use any excuse to try to shame you for speaking up.. Do NOT waste your money from this garbage company read more

But, we timed traffic right and got there right at 11 A.M. when sale started. They had champagne and oj mimosas, pastries and the employees were friendly and helpful. I love everything LDV puts out! The products are high quality. I have bought multiple things from them. The only down fall is they are EXTREMELY hard to get a hold of, and usually I never get a response. My most recent purchase was the last preorder which I placed on 12/9 and it was suppose to be shipped on 12/17... it is now 1/4 and it hasn't shipped yet. I know they had a hold up at customs but I have reached out MULTIPLE times to try to figure out when I will actually get my order. I wouldn't be upset if I was getting replies to my emails/social media comments, etc... I get that things happen, not a big deal but it is NOT good business to leave your customers hanging. This has really left me sour... for $200 I should know when to expect my order-- OR SIMPLY HAVE SOMEONE TO REACH OUT.
