Fabric tearing away from cheap vinyl due to shoddy sewing.
    Kimba A.

My husband Jerry÷rigged the zipper so I could use the purse. After about a month of on and off use, the fabric has started tearing under one of the handles (see photos). These bags are of very low quality in materials and manufacture. They are cute designs but not worth the high prices.

I purchased a purse from Lux De Ville through the Shop app option on their website. The millisecond I hit send, I realized that the default address was for a gift I had sent to Utah at Christmas. I immediately tried to change the order through Shop (no option, other than to contact the company directly.) LuxDeVille doesn't have a working phone number and I sent four emails to customer service begging them to change to my address. Instead of a reply from Lux, I got a "good news, your order has been shipped to Utah" notice. I responded AGAIN and said they must be very efficient if they had already sent a purse the very next day without checking their email but I really needed them to stop that delivery if it hadn't gone out yet. I put a dispute on the charges as a means to get ANYone to respond to me. Three responses, each contradicting the information of what they had just told me 1. We got your emails and are updating your address. 2. Looks like they printed the label for Utah but didn't send. We'll write your address out manually. 3. Looks like it did ship to Utah but we will send out another one to your address. I followed up ten days later with still no purse and no response. Finally, with no further contact, I got a notice that the purse had finally shipped... TO UTAH!!!! When I lost my temper and asked how on earth this could STILL have happened, I got a reply that I had given a refund option and so rather than send me the purse they had messed up and promised, they just (this WEEK) sent the purse to the wrong address and cancelled the order. Their response to my anger? I don't care what happened here. We are more than happy to correct our mistakes and help our customers. You opened up a chargeback ((in the first 24 hours before any of this!!)) so we refunded your money. ....... It's probably for the best, I don't know if I could even LOOK at their stupid purse at this point. But hopefully this experience may warn someone else before you go to the trouble of getting into all this. No phone number, they don't know what they're doing and in their very own words- they DON'T CARE!

Parking can be a little struggle as it was pretty packed when we arrived. First off, right when I walked in I was greeted by the three amazing and very funny ladies. Especially the one behind the counter. She was a major hoot that we all got a laugh with. It makes the shopping experience way better. It's broken down into two different sides. The main being where there cashier is and the women's department. They also have a pretty massive selection with accessories, jewelry and shoes. Plus shoes were half off. The other section house more of the home wares stuff, trinkets, glassware, furniture, babies and men's. There were loads of dish ware. Its nice to see that the place was very neat and organized which is also a major plus when browsing through. Makes it more easy to pick something up without having to dig through piles. There's not a big selection for men and kids as it was mainly a little sections. But pretty extensive collection for chinas and crystals. Woman's had the entire section for clothing and accessories. The staff were all amazing and friendly. Such sweetheart and major dolls. Chatting with them was so fun. Found out that the money goes to different charities which makes the shopping experience more enjoyable knowing that you helped someways. I was glad to walk into a cute little shop.

Fun fun fun…read more.. Another amazing store that literally carries everything. It can be a bit overwhelming when you walk in but your eyes will get adjusted...lol... This place has loads and I mean loads of fun hidden jewels. There's so much items in stock that you literally have to spend some time here. You will literally want everything that you see. The selection of clothing from all sorts of era. You have fun theme items which theres loads. Of course they can be a daily wear item. The vintage collection is top notch. All the decors throughout the stores are fun. Vintage mannequin heads, the dressing rooms doors made of old vintage refrigerator doors, they were great. There's a huge selection of vintage jewelry on displays as well as loads of fun sunglasses. Beside the clothes, the vintage signs which I assume are display were fun. Now that'll be great for home decor. Not sure if they're for sale though. Basically this is another gem along the art district that worth a wander. So much amazing and fun pieces.

The minus is that it is hard to…read moreshop because the racks are jam packed too tight and I hate that because when you try to pull one thing out five other things come jumping off the rack. The other negative is that they are a bit over priced for what they have so I ended up not purchasing anything here. The decor is cool and I do suggest people stop in to see if there is something they might like.

The meat they carry from Herd&Grace is exceptional as well. Australian/Tasmanian cows with uncompromising quality standards. It was a great option being in California with the only real outlet to rubs and sauces being bbq's galore which is limited. I was gifted a gift card in September of 2024. The main thing I wanted to use it for was pellets and for the better part of 10 months this store was out of stock. What I didn't know was there was an ownership change. When I called and the pellets were finally in stock (August 2025) I drove down, grabbed three bags and was told my gift card wasn't good because of ownership change. I was told that they tried to let existing credit holders know to use their gift cards and that there was a grace period of when pre existing gift cards would be valid. At the end of the day, as a new business owner, I get you want to be profitable from the start and honor somewhat pre existing gift cards. I follow you on Instagram and at no time did you ever post anything about needing to use pre existing gift cards by a certain date as stated by your employee. With so many options to purchase rubs, sauces, and pellets these days, this spot will not get my business. FWIW if you need lumberjack pellets or meat church (the best in the business) just go to bbq's galore and save yourself a few bucks.
