Took my car in for a potential shift cable replacement or service. Turns out that the shifter cable bushing was worn and needed to be replaced. Not being a mechanic and needing my car, I gave consent for a $370.00 plus tax shifter cable bushing replacement. (Silly me, took to YouTube e and saw that in actuality it's an $18.00 part and a 15min repair. Smh) I picked up my car a day and a half later. I took it home and verified the part and placement. It came right off with little to no pressure. So, I called the shop and told them about this issue, and of course, they said not to worry, it's fine. I told them that I saw a video that showed a cap for a gasket, but they continued to reassure me that it didn't need one. The next day I took back my rental, and drove my car to the gas station and wouldn't you know, the car was stuck and the shift cable bushing was off the pin. Thanks to YouTube, I was able to realign the pin and gasket, however it happened again while at the gas station. The shop was closed, so, off to AutoZone I went. I found the same gasket that they had in stalled ($18) and wouldn't you know, it has a security cap that goes over the gasket. I put the new gasket and cap on, and thus far, no problems. So, NO! I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. NO, I WILL NOT RETURN FOR ANY FUTURE SERVICE. read more

I've had to visit Auto Repair Pros twice over the course of 6 months for unrelated issues. Each time I was assisted by Kevin who was amazing! His communication, follow up, attentiveness, empathy, kindness, and overall attention to my concerns in both occasions is truly appreciated. He's the reason I returned and will return in the future. Every Auto repair shop needs a Kevin! It was a pretty pricey repair that I needed for the last visit, and that's because my vehicle has really been through it. If I weren't dealing with Kevin, and how thorough and considerate he was about my vehicle's issues, I'm not so sure i would have gone through with it. I never once felt "taken". I called Auto Repair Pros after the dealership quoted me $4900 to replace a hydraulic module on my car's brakes. I spoke with Kevin and explained that the car was already taken apart at the dealer, but I didn't know anything about cars and needed to know if this sounded like a fair price. He asked me a number of questions, trying to get a feel for the problem and see if they thought that it was a correct diagnosis. They agreed that it could be and he told me he would call me back with an estimate. Within 30 minutes he called with two options (new part vs. used) and the quotes, but he explained that there could also be a problem with the master brake cylinder but they would need to replace the module and test it before knowing for sure. If I needed the brake cylinder it would be another $500. I agreed to go with the used hydraulic module and got the car over to them. (Kevin had offered to get it from the dealership, but I declined). They ordered the part. This was the day before Thanksgiving. They called me on Tuesday, when they found that that the master cylinder was in fact a problem. I ok'd the replacement and I was able to pick up the car on Wednesday. I've been driving it for a few weeks now and it is perfect. They fixed my car for a total of $1900. They saved me $3000 and that's before the dealership quote on the master brake cylinder which they would have found as well. I can't thank Kevin enough for the time he took to speak with me and all of his help. I know that they went out on a limb quoting a repair for a problem they didn't diagnose. Kevin's communication with me was clear and timely and the mechanic who worked on it did a great job. Fair pricing and exceptional customer service. Over charge still have the same issue and they want more money after I gave them 3650 to fixed the head gaskets said it was crack then another 350 to replaced a o2 censor then wanted me to pan another 175 to diagnostic the issues they just milking the customers I originally said I wanted to splend 2000 to fixed it I went and gave them 3650 and still have the engine light on drove maybe 50 miles since I left the shop and forest said its a 24 year old car and you need to keep on paying to fix it if he said that before I gave them 3650 I would of sold the car it a camero and in good shape I was misled and taken advantage of cause I do love the car but I feel like they were not upfront with me I thought the car would be back in good running condition with no engine light on and it is and still on bad information . read more
