Wish I could give zero stars. The service is terrible. I got gifted a couples massage for this place. Important to note their "front desk" staff does NOT even work front desk here. They go to open the door of the room they rent in a home shared space, then LEAVE. They don't even know who is working that day or who should be in. They can't give you any single answer. Not even if the owner can get back to you for a refund. Owner is lacking as they didn't even give a proper response to my complaint I sent via email for the NO SHOW they clearly were at fault for. I waited there for 30+ minutes only to be let in by a DIFFERENT business massage therapist. I called the front desk staff who thought since I was let in that I should've clearly already been helped. They didn't even know who was supposed to be there to help us. Didn't apologize. Clearly didn't care about us being stood up as we drove all the way over here. Wasted my time, wasted my friends money for gifting us a "luxury couples massage" that is clearly just hosted in a home with no organization. Would save your money and sanity on rescheduling/refunds if I were you. When we were at first calling to reattempt to reschedule THEIR mistake, they made it nearly impossible saying all their staff wouldn't be available that day or that time. I was here in Portland, OR on business June 2024 and needed a really good massage. Stephanie Olivier did not disappoint!! She provided a highly skilled, thorough and effective massage. It was the best massage that I've had in many years. I loved the heated bed. She massaged my scalp wonderfully. This is something that I always request with my massage however most therapists I've used in the past unfortunately do not use the proper technique of massaging my scalp. Stephanie was very informative about how to keep my body aligned and techniques to use to avoid back stress. I wish I could take her back to Chicago with me! Lol. I had a wonderful experience a Luxe receiving an 80 minute massage from Jesse. I opted for the CBD and exfoliation. I was completely relaxed, and time flew by so quickly. Jesse focused on my back and legs because of a previous spinal cord injury, and the techniques he used provided me much needed relief from chronic sciatic nerve pain. This was the first couples massage my wife and I had. Let me tell you, we BOTH enjoyed every minute of it. I had the honor to get massaged by Lacey. She was fantastic I'd recommend her to anyone. My wife had Nina. They were both very professional and very communicative with us. Making sure we were ALWAYS comfortable, whether it be with the type of oil used, the pressure, ect. Canceling appointments with Luxe is a nightmare! I tried canceling my appointment within the cancellation policy guidelines, however I was never able to get ahold of a single person! In order to cancel an appointment it says to call the Spa. So I called multiple times, left several voicemails with a call back number, and texted as well to receive a confirmation of some sort that appointment was canceled, but radio silence! I only received one text "oh someone forgot to cancel it" and then was continued to be ignored. You also have to put down a deposit in order to book the appointment so I don't know if they are just trying to keep the money? Whatever it is, it's not cool! I would highly recommend going somewhere else that has better communication with their clients! read more

Our therapists were welcoming, asked questions about our preferences and were informative about add-on service options -- there are many! My hot stone massage with Nina was very relaxing and she checked in often about the temperature and pressure which was especially important to my injured and sensitive foot. Had a pretty poor experience. The building was being painted so I got to enjoy a massage to the smell of paint fumes. I had to ask a painter to let me in as the door was locked. The setting felt like I'd walked into a random stranger's living room - i wasn't greeted by anyone, just heard a man in a room talking to a friend on his phone, who I assumed was a client who'd just finished. Turned out it was my massage therapist, wearing a t-shirt and sweats. The room wasn't prepared for me, and had Cheeto bags in it for some reason. Music consisted of Pandora on his phone. The massage was largely the same movements for 80 minutes, and I had a really difficult time relaxing because of how much I wanted to leave. I used to do biomedical research and probably have a more thorough understanding of anatomy than he did, which I'm thankful for because he gave me some medical advice that was just plain wrong. Among other things he told me that my serratus posterior was my rib bones, and that I should see a doctor because I'm either a smoker or have scoliosis (no, lol). Honestly in more pain than when I came in. Avoid. read more

I booked a couples here massage for my boyfriends birthday and wasn't too wowed with the experience. It's in a house with other businesses but luckily they met me downstairs or I would have probably been lost. My massage was great (I'm pregnant and she made sure I was extra comfortable which I appreciated) however for the price I was expecting something a bit more. I paid $240 for a couples massage...kind of pricey considering I just left Hawaii and paid $120 for the best couples massage of my life. After the service we didn't get water, tea or anything just pressured into leaving a tip. Mind you, I just paid almost $300 for a back rub why would I tip you anything extra ?? He kept insisting we Venmo or cash app him gratuity and we just ended up leaving feeling weird and uncomfortable. I sent a text to inquire about a same day 80 min massage and received a quick and pleasant response back via text from Chelsea who squeezed me in for a much needed massage on short notice. Also HUGE THANKS to Nina who stayed late to accommodate my schedule and more importantly she is AMAZING. I went to Luxe in the middle of my finals week and I'm so glad I did, upon leaving I was feeling much more relaxed and ready to focus! If you go here ask for Chelsea, she does a great job of communicating with you before and during your massage about areas of focus and pressure. My neck and shoulders really needed some attention and she has them feeling almost completely back to tension free (it's been a while since my last massage).
