I said can I talk to a manager Emma said to call the salon later no one wanted to help me or even cared I drove 45 mins to get my hair done and got sent home I got very unfair treatment today give The owner wants me to apologize to Emma who squeezed me in she actually over booked the stylist and I drove 45 minutes to my appointment. And battled heavy traffic getting in to the mall waste of my time and day! Also I might add I'm getting messages by employees saying rude remarks about me and my life so if you leave a negative review watch out !!! I tried to resolve my issues with the color i received but no one will return my calls or my emails! I went in to a Level 5 stylist for the sole purpose of not having issues and issues are what i got. I pretty much received the opposite of what i wanted. I even had pictures so there was no miscommunication of the color. I wanted dark brown with light brown chunky highlights and i got more of a medium brown with BRASSY Blonde highlights that were very fine. I made it clear that I do not want any blonde or brassy highlights and that is exactly what i received. after paying $340 dollars I am distressed over the fact that i have brass all around my face so i went to walgreens and had to buy hair color to cover up the mess. I am so disappointed that no one will even return my calls to address this. BEWARE!!!! read more

Jessica is a really nice person but she didn't accomplish what we set out to do. We had a long consultation so I'm not sure where the disconnect was. I purposely grew out my roots so there was enough of my natural base and gray to make it easy to match. The tone I ended up with was extremely brassy and orange and looked horrible with my highlights and rest of my blonde. It was flat and I looked much better before I even got there. When I called the salon to express my concern I was dismissed because "we are really busy and I'm the only person up front". Then after two days of calling and two days of frantically using purple shampoo, and trying to remove dye from my forehead and the side of my head, I'm told that they can apply another toner but our policy is not to refund. So let me understand this correctly, your policy is to apply another toner, which I already paid for and she left on for less than a minute, rather than giving me some sort of compensation for the $170 and $20 tip I paid for not getting what I asked for or wanted. So basically customer service and happiness is against your policy. My not wanting another chemical treatment should not allow you to walk away from fixing the issue. Shame on you Luxe. This salon is very inviting and aesthetically pleasing! I had my first visit this past weekend, and was very pleased with the atmosphere and all around vibe. I felt very welcomed by the front desk employees and didn't feel awkward when I walked. (I'm just an awkward person so I typically feel very awkward walking into a new space) The front desk checked me in and offered me snacks and a drink. On the Saturday I was in they order Jersey Mike sandwiches for all guests. My appt was at 1245 so that was a very nice surprise as it was lunch time and had not eaten yet. I had an appt with Carol B. and had a great experience with her. I had really long hair that was a light to medium brown with blonde highlights through out and about 4-5 inches of regrowth. I really wanted a transformation and told her I wanted to chop my about 6-7 inches and do a shoulder length cut and go black for the fall/winter season. I showed her inspo pics for the cut and then she evaluated my hair and let me know what steps she was going to take to achieve my desired look. After filling and coloring my hair she took me back to the rinsing station and I really loved their rinse chairs! They were almost like a bed so it was really comfy to lay on while she rinsed the color and shampoo and conditioned my hair. After that she took me back to her station chair and started working on my hair cut. We did an initial chop prior to the color and when we went back to her station chair. She confirmed with me the length I wanted for my hair. Which I appreciated, because once it's cut there is no putting it back on. After she finished the cut she blow dried my hair and showed me how to style my front layers to achieve the look in my inspo pics at home. This I really really really appreciated because I'm to shy to ask on my own how to it at home and would have struggled. Lol Needless to say I absolutely love my new look and absolutely enjoyed my time at this salon. I loved it so much I pre booked my next appt to refresh the color for the holidays before I left! While the salon is beautiful, cleanly and filled with kind staff, I'm writing mostly towards my stylist. The store in itself is definitely 4stars, unfortunately my stylist was not. I can't remember her name, but I think it might have been Cynthia. I'm giving my visit 2stars because I feel like I wasn't listened to. When I was explaining to my stylist what I wanted, (a long-layered, choppy a-line bob, with long-ish, side bangs) I felt as though she kept suggesting something completely different than what I was saying. I mentioned that I didn't want to take too much off, but I wanted some shape. She suggested razoring the back, and leaving the front mostly untouched. When I repeated what I wanted, she suggested the razoring again. I didn't bring it up again because I am not the stylist, and if she says razoring, then she must have an idea that I can't see. When we got to the actual cut, she didn't even touch the front part of my hair, and as she said, it was mostly just razoring of the back. There is no shape, when I specifically asked for shape; there are no long layers, because most of the back is razored, and my bangs are split down the middle and a lot shorter than we discussed. I asked for blunt edges and she didn't do anything to the ends of my hair. When we were looking at the finished cut, I asked for a sharper shape in the back. After almost constant conversation, she immediately stopped talking and went quiet for the remainder of the cut. It was extremely uncomfortable. When she considered her self done, she didn't ask me if I wanted to look before she started putting hairspray in my hair and told me I was done. When I brought up the issues I had with the cut she kept mentioning it was the way she blow-dried it. I feel like I walked out of the salon with the exact same hair shape, and style when I paid $50. Thank goodness I had a first time discount because I wouldn't have paid any more than $25 for this haircut. read more

I was in desperate need of a haircut and Luxe Salon was close by and I had never been there before. I did not make an appointment. I had about a 30 min wait on a Friday which I did not mind since the receptionist told me how long the wait would be and it was 30 min right on the dot. They offered beverages like sodas, coffee, and water. My stylist, Cynthia, was very knowledgeable. I told her my issues with my hair: maintenance, volumizing products, hair sprays, brands. She used some of those on my hair as well. She educated me on different blow drying techniques and how to use the products that I asked about. Cynthia was accommodating to my hair care needs and was a great conversationalist. They had promotions going for their products at the time too! I will be going back...in about 12 weeks for a trim! read more

I am always satisfied when I leave. 9 times out of 10 I come to her with no clue what I want done and she is always so helpful with my decision. Anything you want done I know she can do and if for some crazy reason she can't then you will be able to find another talented stylist who can! The owners are some of the nicest, genuine and honest people I have ever met. The salon is very professional, clean, and let's not forget BEAUTIFUL. They offer you something to drink when you check in and greet you with a friendly smile every time. They sell a lot of great products too, such as Bumble and Bumble, Goldwell, Keratase, Eminence, and Moroccan Oil. Customer service always comes first? I owned a salon and spa in CA, all my women knew the product lines we sold, so it wouldn't tie up the providers time. Now this is my first time getting my hair done here. If this is how they value their customers, they can live w/out my money. Greeted by a Beechie person, no pleasantries were exchanged; like how are you, welcome in. Then asked her a question about one of their product lines. She said talk to the hairdresser, not in a nice way. I told her if my girls treated a client like how you're treating me, they'd be fired! So I got the last word! Your fired, to Paula the hairdresser! She didn't get to fire me! What an ungrateful bunch of snobs! Anyone thinking about going here, just know what you think or how you're treated doesn't matter to them. They think we need them. Well I showed her I didn't need her! Hairdressers are a dime a dozen and with availability the way it is there, they must not be that good. I'd look else where. No. 1 rule in customer service, be nice, cheerful and remember the customer built your business. Oh and the name is available for use as well. They let their corp filing go. So you can use the name and take their customers if you're a clever hairstylist! Then do yourself a favor I'm not the only person who thinks the ppl here are rude! I chose Sarah at Luxe Salon from YELP and I am so glad I did. My hair was shapeless and a Keratin treatment left it straight and lifeless. I visited Luxe Salon in search of a spray tan booth for my bachelorette party. I called ahead and spoke to the most wonderful woman who not only let me know that they had the booth, but let me make an appointment, asked if I had ever used and gave me the basic instructions so I would be prepared. I have never spoken to such a kind and helpful woman when asking for assistance on the bed. When we visited, we were greeted with similar kindness and helpfulness, which was absolutely wonderful. Save your money and save your time- go literally anywhere else. Came in for the first time for bayolage and it was the ugliest hair color and cut I have ever had in my entire life and I spent $269 with their 15% first timers discount (not including tip because I'm an idiot and tipped for that shit). I had to go in to get it fixed and FYI, they only do fixes during the week day. The woman who fixed my hair said it was orange, said the cut was choppy, had no idea why she put a million dollar streak two inches back from my face, and put 3-4 inches of permanent dye on my roots in a shade way too dark for my roots. Overall, we both agreed it was absolutely hideous. She spent 3 hours correcting my hair and ended up having to do partial highlights. It looks better, but I came in initially wanting bayolage so I didn't have to get my hair done so frequently and now I'll l have to go back in somewhere else in another 6 weeks to try to get the look I'm going for. The best part about the first girl who did my hair horribly is that she also GOT BLEACH ON MY EYELID so I had a burn on my eyelid for a week and had to keep aquaphor on it. They redid my hair for free, but they said the service I had done the second time cost $213 before the 15% discount. They said they would give me a $40 credit for the *next* time I came in. Well, If you take 15% off 213, that's $181. So I have a $181 haircut that I paid $269 for. That's about a $90 difference and I want my money back for the bleach that was on my eyelid, the time you stole from me (6 hours total now) and for the hairstyle I'm actually walking around with. I asked for the owner to call me. The owner didn't call me but the front desk manager did. She said they will no longer be giving me a $40 credit for next time, but will be happy to offer me a 10% discount. So long story short, go literally anywhere else. Go to great clips even. You'll have the same cut and color from there that you'll get here and it'll be much cheaper for you. Please don't give this horrible place any of your money or time. Trust me, it's reallllllly not worth it. read more

My stylist was nice and I actually wrote a good review right after my service which was yesterday night and now I'm looking at my hair and I can't help but to cry and break down, the way she did the layers is extremly choppy and just overall bad execution, I asked for curtain bangs and got the chunkiest curtain bangs that are long but not long enough to put in a pony so It just looks so ugly and awkward, this was a really big change for me I needed a hair cut bad because it was so dead and I get really bad anxiety when it comes to changing my hair, this execution of it just makes me hate my hair and now I'm just planning on wearing it in a pony with Bobby pins until it grows out, so extremly sad I paid $80+ $30 tip to not even wanna look in the mirror anymore, I just keep crying, this definitely took a big stab at my confidence, fina was my hair dresser, again she was nice maybe I would do a trim with her or a color change but I wouldn't recommend a big cut or even curtain bangs with her. read more

I have not had good experiences at this salon across the board. I've been several times, and the quality has been as inconsistent as the customer service. On one occasion I have had color done poorly enough here that I had to request a redo and come in again to get it fixed. (The fix, which was complimentary, helped but still didn't 100% correct the issue). I have also been treated rudely by both a stylist and desk staff, and was improperly overcharged for one appointment. While I obtained a refund for the overcharge after requesting it, my customer service experience during the refund process was terrible. I have had the pleasure of being a client at several reputable salons elsewhere that charge prices similar to Luxe, but the experiences I had at those places and my experience coming here are night and day different. If you want to charge higher-end prices, you need to provide a higher-end service and experience. I won't be going back to Luxe and can't recommend it. read more

I popped into this salon for shampoo purchase only but heard that Paula was a total rock star stylist. My hair was a mess from multiple bad hair cuts and Paula gave me exactly the style that I'd been wanting since the bad cuts started 2 years ago .... and she was uber conservative with my length. Paula is confident, expert and is a true professional ... I gave five stars only because there aren't more available but seriously Paula was 100! I have been following Stephanie for years from salon to salon, and she landed at Luxe 3 years or so ago. I met Steph years ago when I got a HORRIBLE dye job and was looking for someone to fix my mop. She looked at me, scared for the both of us and knew exactly what to do. After a few appointments (the previous dye job was THAT bad) she made me look FABULOUS; even better than before! She's so awesome, it's been a love story ever since. If you need a peek, most of my pics are her color and cut work. (The lighter blonde pics) I even sent my boyfriend her way a couple times to get his cut situated. He always looks amazing, but being a boy he's not as interested in driving so far (we live in Laveen) for a 30 min haircut. For me it's cathartic seeing her. I go in a visual and emotional mess and come out a beauty inside and out. Lol. I love her, and love how sweet the front desk girls are. It doesn't take much to impress me... but I have dealt with rude desk people, creepy hairdressers and dirty salons in the past. I live in Laveen and drive an hour to get here because she and the salon staff are great. : ) I will always sing Luxe's praises. Just as long as she still has appointment times for me. ; ) P.S. I went to this salon a couple of months ago to get my hair colored. The stylist DID NOT listen to what I said I wanted. I told her I wanted a dark brown to match my roots, but to NOT use a lot of red in the color because my natural hair has red in it and it will come out a different color than I want. She did not listen, and sure enough my hair came out PURPLE and not BROWN. I went back last week for a hair cut, thinking that I would give them another chance. Unknowingly I got scheduled for the SAME stylist that ruined my hair with color. I had showed her pictures of the length I wanted and even pointed with my hands where to make sure I got the length I wanted. I told her no shorter than where my bra strap rested. SHE CUT IT OFF TO THE TOP OF MY SHOULDER! Not even close to what I wanted. Now I have a hair cut much shorter than I wanted, and am very UNSATISFIED with this company.
