Broken Nails Within Days-Poor Quality & Service at Luxia Nails and Spa I've been going to Nick at Luxia for months, but my last visit was unacceptable. I paid $149 total (plus cash tip) over two appointments in June 2025 for acrylic nails and a color correction after he used "Piglet" instead of "Cashmere." I even simplified the design to make the second installation easier and quicker. Within hours of the second visit, a nail broke. After they fixed the first nail, another nail broke two days later. I had to go back four times in 10 days just to fix their mistakes. Despite clear evidence the application or products were faulty, the manager refused a refund or proper installation. She offered only to fix one nail or give me a discount after I'd already spent nearly $200 and was missing a nail days before a wedding. Unprofessional, poor quality, and no accountability. I do not recommend this salon. Save your time and money.

Good experience here. Super busy! I got a no chip manicure and it didn't chip! So I will definitely be coming back as this is my first no chip that has actually lasted. Only one critique, my nail color was supposed to be a light spring green but my nail tech thought it would be see through. He suggested putting black underneath. Didn't make sense to me but I went with his judgment. My nails ended up a Olive green which wasn't what I wanted. Best intentions but didn't really make sense.

I've been looking for a nail place for years and haven't been happy with the ones I've tried in the area for one reason or another so I was thrilled to read all of the great reviews for Luxia and give them a try! So far I've had 4 dip manicures and pedicures and am happy each time. I've had a different person do my nails each time and every one of them were great. I'm so glad I finally found a nail salon I like! 4 stars instead of 5 because the TVs and music seem to be having issues each time I'm there, I tend to have to wait a while in between my mani and pedi and I have to call a few times to get they on the phone to book an appt. Would be great if I could book online.

This is probably my new favorite nail salon in naperville! It got such amazing reviews on Yelp that I had to check it out. Dan did my nails and he did such an amazing job making sure every little detail was perfect. It was also my first time getting acrylics and I loved how it turned out. It was a bit more expensive than my usual manicure but it's definitely worth the money. Don't forget to make an appointment because they were really busy when I tried to do a walk in appointment.

I've been on what seems like a never ending journey to find a nail salon in the Naperville area that I love. I stopped by Luxia Nails for the very first time yesterday. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I called ahead and made an appointment for a dip manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was pleasant and on par for a basic pedicure. The dip manicure was fantastic. I had the pleasure of having CiCi do my manicure. She was very nice and kept asking if I was happy with the shape of my nails and if everything looked good. This would have been a five star review if the polish on my hands and feet matched. I asked for matching polish on both and for some reason the shades are completely different and not even close. That is very disappointing. Outside of that issue, I enjoyed my experience at this nail salon.

No matter who you go to you will not walk out disappointed! They're all very talented! My favorite spot

I love the staff and techs at Luxia! They made myself and my bridesmaids feel so special on the day before my wedding. The quality of no chip and acrylic sets that we got were out of this world. They made all our inspiration pictures come to life!! Our pedicures were relaxing and the quietness of the salon led to such a chill vibe throughout our appointments. Thanks friends! Ok so I found my new favorite place!! Seriously. This was one of the best pedicures I have ever had! I always have a hard time finding a place that I love in Naperville. This is it though. Peaceful. Relaxing. Clean. Perfect. The candles, the oils, the wax, the callous remover, the massage!! Heck even the music was great (light country). They even set a timer so you don't feel like you're getting ripped off on time. Sometimes I feel like my calves take a beating. Not here. The perfect pressure and the hot wax was incredible. Dan was the best. They opened only 2 months ago so they need our business. But I'll be back for sure. Check them out!!

Called in the morning on a Saturday to see if appointment was necessary or walk-in were all right. The woman who answered suggested I make an appt and so I did for that evening. I arrived and was greeted and verified my appt. I am not the type of girl who gets her nails done very often. I usually never have my nails painted and if I do, it's an at home job. I have never gotten fake/nail extensions until this day! Glad I came here for the positive experience. My pedicure was extremely relaxing. Jason was the technician for this part of my nail appointment and while only working here for 6 months, he was very careful and had a great touch. We made good conversation and he was helpful with my lack of experience. I got the volcano pedicure which was very relaxing although I think I may stick to just a regular one next time. I just wanted to treat myself a little extra since I've been so busy working lately. The massage chairs really made the biggest difference for me as I have been very tense lately (working too much). After the pedicure, I walked over to Nick's nail station and he got right to work. I explained that with my current job, I wear nitrile gloves all day and use/work with my hands a lot. Since I have never gotten nail extensions before, I wanted something short and natural, but also something that would allow my natural nail to grow and strengthen (aka no grinding down my nails and getting acrylics). He suggested the no-chip dip nail extensions and away we went! He showed me the color of the nail polish on a separate fake nail to verify that it was the right color for me which was super helpful. I was fascinated by the process. He worked so diligently and carefully. He asked a few times if he was hurting me and I think it's because I unconsciously tensed my hand (probably watching the food show on tv haha). The whole process was pretty quick! And my nails look so cool! They feel strong and even. I'll be trying them out in gloves this week so fingers crossed! read more

I found this place due to Yelp and oh my gosh I am so glad I went here!! When I first walked in, I was in awe of how nice and clean it was. I went for a gel or "no chip" pedicure. First off, they have a GREAT color selection for gel polish. I had Tom and he was really good, but he likes to take his time- which is NEVER a bad thing! He even mentioned how everyone calls him "the slowest guy". Everyone was so friendly and I got a great pedi. I highly recommend Luxia nails and spa! read more

Clean place, but my gel manicure chipped two days after getting it. I also was hoping to get a nice, fancy pedicure, but they never asked me what kind I wanted and did the bare minimum. Overall disappointing especially since the reviews were so good. I drove an hour to try this place out. read more

Went there to get my eyebrows waxed the other day felt very rushed and did not style my eyebrows. Now I have a burn on my eyelid from the wax being to hot. Didn't get my nails done so can't speak on that but won't get waxed there again. read more

Katie is a talented nail artist! I showed her a picture of the design I wanted and she did it so beautifully. However, my nails broke a week and a half after I got them done. I broke 7 nails!!!! It was sad, it was such a good design that she painted by hand. I paid $80 for this set w/ a $20 tip and it didn't last a long time. During the time I was at the salon, it was a Friday and I had an appointment but the whole salon was booked. I wish they didn't rush my manicure and I wish it lasted longer too. Found the nail salon I will regularly go to now! I got a no chip fill on my acrylics and a deluxe pedicure and literally from start to finish I received excellent service. My pedicure was done by Jason and it truly was the best pedicure I've ever had. My legs and feet felt so good afterwards. Jason did not rush through it and ensured I was happy through the entire thing. I then got my nails filled by Nick, and yet again, it was amazing service. Leg made me feel comfortable, introduced himself to me, and made sure I was happy with all steps he did. - I just moved to the area and was nervous I wouldn't find a shop as great as my home salon, and Luxia proved me wrong. I am new to the area and needed a new nail salon. I came across Luxia on Facebook and Yelp. They had amazing reviews and looked like they did great work. I went yesterday and the service was great. Annie worked with me to figure out what the best option for me would be. I ended up going with extensions and dip powder. I showed her a picture of a design I liked and she went above my expectations. All the equipment is new and VERY clean inside. I actually came here because of the reviews. I did a no chip pedicure and standard manicure. First, NEITHER of the colors I used matched the nail sample. Idk if the polish was old or diluted to preserve it. Second, I was seated near vents in which ALL seemed to point at me. The air was on full blast! I literately had to ask for hand sanitizer because the freezing air made me blow my nose so much. Third, though the cutting of the cuticles, filling of the nails were great; the execution in how my nails were painted was trash! Just horrible! I wasted my time here & got sick. read more

Luxia is my favorite nail place! They all do such a great job and the salon is always clean and everyone is welcoming. Sometimes you need to wait because it is a very busy place, but it is always worth it because they will spend the time and attention on your nails once it is your turn. I was there for a regular pedi and a no chip mani. I asked for the same color and was told that was possible. Look at the picture, and you tell me if that looks like the same color. Also, I had to ask for a more complete cutical clipping, my toenails were not cut evenly, and the tips of my nails are not as completely covered as rest of nails. I heard so many good things about them and loved my coworkers nails, so the Monday before Christmas I went in with one of my friends and I was amazed. Definitely recommend making an appointment (I'm glad we did cause the wait was pretty long considering it was near the holidays). I had Jason and he did such an amazing job making sure everything was shaped evenly and smooth, and it was my first time getting the dip! Then another girl did the design and it was soon good! I've truly found my new nail shop & technician! Such a clean, beautiful,& peaceful shop. Nick was so precise and made sure I enjoyed my nails from the shape to the color. To top it off they accept tips on debit transactions, which most local shops fail to do. They also send you off with a receipt with your nail colors on it!! Pedicure took 2 hours???? Insane amount of time. Usually takes about 45 mins no? And my toe nails are crookedthat sucks. He took a whole hour just taking off my last polish by stroking a file one way. And definitely didn't put a mask on my foot that was listed in the service I paid for. Showed up 20 minutes early and the receptionist got me choosing color and into a chair within 10minutes (wasn't even expecting that!) my technician was Jason and he was PHENOMENAL! Absolutely AMAZING, I cannot recommend this business enough. It's taken years to find a nail place that actually takes their time and achieves EXACTLY what you asked for. Every tech's chair was full and you could tell why, every single tech was spectacular. This place is an absolute gem, recommend making an appt. I have benough a client of Luxia since they opened. I have settled in comfortably with Nick. My problem is that this place has no consideration for its clients. I always try to make my appointments for first thing in the morning, which 8 out of 10 times Nick is a few mins late for, which I know and I expect, I'm not happy with that but I accept it. This past Sunday due t Nick being out for personal reasons, I had an appointment with Brin. I sat waiting and waiting with no one acknowledge me. When I asked the receptionist what was going on I got a snippy reply of he's not here yet, so I wait. Next time I ask, her response is; he's late, very annoyed with me. Finally some sweet young lady came over to "get me started", which she wound up finishing also. A young man walked in 25 mins after my appointment was to start who I believe was Brin, ( very disheveled ) . Never did one person in that salon ever walk up to me to apologize. Salon workers need to know, they need us, we don't need them. read more

I was looking for a salon that did hard gel / gel builder. I discovered that this service is not available at many places. The nail technician took so much time and care with my nails. I didn't realize how tedious the service was and time consuming, so I felt a little bad! He did WONDERFUL and I was able to achieve the nails I wanted. read more

Customer service was great, waiting time for me was no more than 5 minutes... they did great job with all my nails and checked over and over to make sure my nail was right and they would ask you multiple times if that shade of color is right and they aren't harsh on your hand while filing down your nail.. overall... but nail spot I have ever been to!!! read more

Tried twice to walk in. The second time I waited in the parking lot for them to open and was first person in the door with a rush of people right after me. They told me to have a seat and then 15 mins later told me they couldn't take me. Just wanted a basic mani/pedi. No fake nails, regular polish. Not cool. Sign on door says walk-ins welcome but I wasn't welcomed in twice. Overrated. Won't try again. read more

I have lived in the area for a while and have tried multiple nail salons. I'm usually never happy with the way my nails turn out and my pedicures are sub-par. I will now be coming to Luxia for every fill and pedicure. My nails turned out amazing and my pedicure was beyond. They really took their time and were super accommodating! I've never written a review before but this was very much needed. I'm not the type to write bad reviews either. I have tried multiple salons and usually if I don't like it, I don't even complain, I just never go back. Well, I have found my new favorite salon. Everyone is so sweet! The salon is beautiful to say the least, very well organized, and clean. The color selection is quite extensive, it's organized by color and labeled with its matching no chip number. They also have a tablet upfront that is used for a reward system / point system. I wish I could say who did my service but to be truthful, I do not remember. They were both very well done and they were very careful with detail! I went in with an inspo photo and they worked with me to get me what I wanted. I went very basic on my toes and chose to do white but when I tell you the shape is perfect I really mean it. One of my toenails grows slightly tilted to were it looks like my toe is crooked. Every time I try to explain to people if they could cut it straight nobody every does it right. Well it's gotten to a point where I don't even ask anymore. Well I didn't even say anything and they got it to look perfect! As for my no chip manicure, like I said I went in with an inspo photo. My tech took care of finding the colors for me, checking with me to see if I liked them and did an AMAZING job. I'm now almost 2 weeks into my set and not a single one has chipped. They still look shiny and I've gotten multiple compliments. I'm not sure if he was just the manager that day or if he is the owner but he was very kind and made sure I was comfortable from start to finish. Support your local new business and go here! You won't regret it!!!! I just hope that their quality of work doesn't go down as they begin to gain more clients. It tends to happen a lot to new salons. Their client load can get to be to big and they start to rush making quality go down. The entry is around the back of the building, which I imagine is important for anyone wanting to be more discrete. Inside, the space was clean and beautiful - it has a relaxing atmosphere and doesn't feel overly clinical. I was immediately greeted and asked if I wanted a beverage, and then was ushered into a second waiting comfy room to fill out my intact paperwork. The music is typical relaxing spa music and they have it at just the right volume throughout the spa. After I filled out my paperwork, Maddy (who just happened to also be doing my facial!) came in and we talked about some of my skin concerns and goals, she was extremely knowledgeable and also just so sweet and friendly, she put me immediately at ease (this was my first HydraFacial). Next, the treatment itself. First off: the treatment room was a great temperature, no harsh overhead lights, and again that relaxing spa music. I changed into the little robe I was given and settled onto the gloriously warm treatment table. The next 50 minutes were just pure bliss, as Maddy expertly did each step of the Elite HydraFacial. It was much gentler than I had expected, like a tiny vacuum on my face. In between, I believe she was putting different serums on, and she did the red LED light for inflammation and anti aging. It was all just so wonderful and relaxing. Maddy was amazing! Afterwards my skin was as soft as a baby's bum, and it wasn't at all red or blotchy, which also surprised me! I went to lunch immediately afterwards without feeling the least bit self conscious, and in fact felt that "celebrity glow" that's so elusive. I also bought a couple of the products Maddy suggested and am already feeling the difference in my skin. TL;DR - I would absolutely recommend Luxeskin spa, and am looking forward to trying more of their services. Especially if you're looking for a facial to do before a big event like a wedding, the HydraFacial Elite at this medspa is the way to go!

I called because I had legitimate concerns about being charged significantly more than I expected, and I was frustrated by the lack of transparency regarding the pricing. In my experience, the final total was not communicated in a way that allowed me to make an informed decision before the service was completed. When I calmly addressed his behavior and asked for professional treatment, Lee became aggressive, started shouting, and ultimately refused to finish my manicure. He left my nails completely unfinished and without polish. It is unacceptable for a business to treat customers this way or to mock someone's language. I felt discriminated against and unsafe due to his hostility. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place, especially if you expect to be treated with basic human decency.
