Customer service here is severely lacking. I had a 12:00 PM appointment and arrived on time, only to wait 15 minutes without a single word from any staff member. When I finally inquired, I was told my stylist was running behind which is understandable, but a simple heads-up would have gone a long way. Instead, I sat watching guests who arrived after me be taken before me. Communication and basic courtesy go a long way, and unfortunately, neither was present during my visit. read more

Broken Nails Within Days-Poor Quality & Service at Luxia Nails and Spa I've been going to Nick at Luxia for months, but my last visit was unacceptable. I paid $149 total (plus cash tip) over two appointments in June 2025 for acrylic nails and a color correction after he used "Piglet" instead of "Cashmere." I even simplified the design to make the second installation easier and quicker. Within hours of the second visit, a nail broke. After they fixed the first nail, another nail broke two days later. I had to go back four times in 10 days just to fix their mistakes. Despite clear evidence the application or products were faulty, the manager refused a refund or proper installation. She offered only to fix one nail or give me a discount after I'd already spent nearly $200 and was missing a nail days before a wedding. Unprofessional, poor quality, and no accountability. I had an appointment with my girlfriend. we have been going here a couple years. My friends pedicure started on time. My technician did not come over to me for 40 minutes. i sat waiting with my feet in cold water. my friends got done much earlier and she had no chip and a flower decor on hers . I had regular polish. I was able to sit under nail dryer there did not seem to be any air blowing I sat for 20 minutes. we now left 2 1/2 hours after our appointment time! When I got in my car I saw the left big toe polish was scraped up. I went back in immediately. everyone just looked at me. No one offered to help fix it. My nail tech brought me the polish and said "oh they must not have been dry yet. It has to be at least 15 minutes " . it was more like 35 minutes. He said he was working with someone fingernails now and he wasn't going to be able to fix my toe , when I had just left. No one else offered to help me, the owner was there and the receptionist. No one got anyone to help me get the nail fixed. I was wiping polish off half the nail that was damaged and then I was putting it back on. I had no topcoat and then I left. I had to use my own topcoat from home. I called and I was told that I could come back they would fix it anytime. I said I was just there and no one fixed it and I'm leaving to go to Florida in two days. I just spent three hours there for a pedicure. I was told Katie the manager - owner would call me back and she has not. I've been coming there for years and I brought my friend there. Who's been going there for years and her daughter and my daughter we have spent so much money in there and this is how I got treated. I won't be back, things are not the same there. read more

Good experience here. Super busy! I got a no chip manicure and it didn't chip! So I will definitely be coming back as this is my first no chip that has actually lasted. Only one critique, my nail color was supposed to be a light spring green but my nail tech thought it would be see through. He suggested putting black underneath. Didn't make sense to me but I went with his judgment. My nails ended up a Olive green which wasn't what I wanted. Best intentions but didn't really make sense. read more

I've been looking for a nail place for years and haven't been happy with the ones I've tried in the area for one reason or another so I was thrilled to read all of the great reviews for Luxia and give them a try! So far I've had 4 dip manicures and pedicures and am happy each time. I've had a different person do my nails each time and every one of them were great. I'm so glad I finally found a nail salon I like! 4 stars instead of 5 because the TVs and music seem to be having issues each time I'm there, I tend to have to wait a while in between my mani and pedi and I have to call a few times to get they on the phone to book an appt. I've been on what seems like a never ending journey to find a nail salon in the Naperville area that I love. I stopped by Luxia Nails for the very first time yesterday. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I called ahead and made an appointment for a dip manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was pleasant and on par for a basic pedicure. The dip manicure was fantastic. I had the pleasure of having CiCi do my manicure. She was very nice and kept asking if I was happy with the shape of my nails and if everything looked good. This would have been a five star review if the polish on my hands and feet matched. I asked for matching polish on both and for some reason the shades are completely different and not even close. That is very disappointing. Outside of that issue, I enjoyed my experience at this nail salon. read more

My sister recommended this place to me and raved about it, so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. The man who did my nails was very rough and unfriendly. The drill kept slipping from his hands while I was completely still, and didn't acknowledge it or apologize. At one point he burned my skin with the drill. The top coat was not placed well and he was rude when I asked him to re-do the top coat on 3 of my nails (the top coat literally didn't cover the entire nail....). The dip powder does not go all the way down to my nail bed, they looked a week grown out the day I had them done. Really disappointed in the price I paid vs the quality of dip manicure I received. Lastly the gentleman doing my nails was sick and coughing/sniffling right in front of me, 2 days later... I'm sick. Could be a coincide but really unfortunate with thanksgiving this week. About a year ago, Luxia started out as the ideal place for a mani/pedi but it has changed. Making an appointment means nothing. You still sit and wait 20-30 min to be serviced because they overbook. My last two visits sealed it for me. Noticed on my credit card bill that I was charged twice for my service (They did refund the overcharge it was +$100). And finally I requested a simple polish change. The tech suggested a fill in. I was only one week out from my last fill in. She proceeded to call over 3-4 techs to look at my hands. The entire row started a whole conversation about my nails; even those that were servicing other customers. I couldn't interpret what they were saying but it was obvious to everyone in the place that she had an issue with my request. That was very unprofessional and extremely embarrassing. I made a 6:15 PM appointment and arrived on time. Sat in the lobby for 20 minutes before being moved to a station. Waited another 5 minutes for a tech to greet me and place acetone soaked cotton balls on my nails to remove my old dip nail polish. Waited another 20 minutes for the tech to come back. All said and done, I was there for 45 minutes and the only thing I accomplished was getting my nail polish soaked off. Being that I did not plan for a 90 minute salon visit, I told the tech that I did not require any additional services and that I was ready to go. She was quite taken aback and tried to convince me to stay, however I was insistent that having been there for 45 minutes and only received minimal service that I was ready to go. While this salon does great work, they are constantly overbooked causing extreme wait time for service. This salon does not generally take walk-ins and same day appointments are rare, thus making appointments essential. However what is the point of an appointment when you're forced to wait 20+ minutes past your appointment. For such great work it's too bad their customer service is so poor. read more

Ok so I found my new favorite place!! Seriously. This was one of the best pedicures I have ever had! I always have a hard time finding a place that I love in Naperville. This is it though. Peaceful. Relaxing. Clean. Perfect. The candles, the oils, the wax, the callous remover, the massage!! Heck even the music was great (light country). They even set a timer so you don't feel like you're getting ripped off on time. Sometimes I feel like my calves take a beating. Not here. The perfect pressure and the hot wax was incredible. I came here last minute to get my nails done before going on vacation. They were one of the only nail salons in the area who would take me as a walk-in. So grateful! The lady on the phone was very nice (which is not something I can say for many of the other salons) and helpful. When I walked in, they were busy, but I was able to be taken care of right away without affecting others who had appointments. They really keep their salon staffed! Everything was clean and my nail technician was very precious with all of his instruments. My full set nails were about $55 which is standard comparing other locations (at least from my experience). He was very nice and accommodating even offering recommendations for colors which I gladly took. I loved the shape and style of the nails. They were very sturdy too! I'm not sure how long they would have lasted, because I had them removed after about 3 weeks since they got too long with my natural nail growth. It is safe to say u found my go-to nail salon in Naperville! I have been here now 3 times and I've had the same consistent amazing service each time. Tom does an amazing pedicure neat, attentive, and very very friendly. I tried both the basic and deluxe, it wasn't a huge difference in my opinion so I will just stick to the basic. Katie does my full sets and refills. I like her because she gives great recommendations based on the health of your nail, she is great at shaping your nails, and designs. She is open, honest, and explains all charges. I hate when an additional charge is not explained before getting the service. But they DO NOT do that here, they are very upfront and vocal and I LOVE THAT. The salon is clean, modern, and very friendly. I highly recommend trying this salin if your in the area read more

I'm extremely upset & disappointed with Luxia Nails. I have been a loyal customer since they opened, & always tip 25%. They always seem to double book. This is very inconvenient for customers who plan their day around a scheduled appointment. This is the 3rd or 4th time they double book or cancel my appointment. I had a confirmed appointment today, I called to mentioned I'm 5 min behind, only to find out that I had a "cancelled" appointment, & they insisted that I was the one that cancelled, when that was not true. This is extremely disappointing. I go on vacation tonight & having to scramble to find another place to go to is very frustrating, saddening & very upsetting. One of my favorite nail shops to go in Naperville/Plainfield/Aurora area. Usually able to get same day/next day appointment, pedicures are great and massage chairs that actually work. The dip service is good (not too thick), and there is huge selection of colors for regular, gel and dip! Prices are reasonable and shop is cute. read more

I have been a customer at this location since they opened. I came in last weekend (on Sunday) for a gel, no-chip, fill and the polish began peeling away within a couple of days. I called in for a simple polish change in advance of the new work week and was given no accommodation or consideration - again I have been a patron of this location since they opened. I was actually told they were too busy to see me and that I could schedule an appointment for another day. I had the best experience I've ever had at a nail salon this past week when I visited Luxia Nails. I came in for a pedicure and full set around 5:45 pm. A nice young man did the pedicure for me and Jacob completed my full set. I am so pleased with the quality, professionalism and artistry that I'm planning my next service already. I should Jacob my design and he delivered! He also didn't make me feel rushed even though we went over the 7:30 closing time. I even suggested only doing a design on 4 nails but he said he'd do them all for me with no problem! My husband even likes my nails.
