Phenomenal car service. We took a trip to New York from Vancouver. Upon arrival we used Luxor for both trips, from the airport to the hotel and back again four days later. On our arrival, we ordered a stretch limo with meet and greet service and champagne in the car. Our driver, Dimitri, was prompt, courteous and professional. Trash! We hired Luxor for my Mother in Law's funeral. I payed in advance online. They requested a copy of my drivers license. I refused and advised them that due to security I was not willing to and that I would show the driver my ID. They showed up with a white limo and the driver took a picture of my ID and credit card after I explicitly told him not to. Our driver did not follow the procession. I reached out to Luxor, looking for something special for my wife and I. I wanted a great, easy ride from JFK to Midtown Manhattan, and I asked if they could please play Christmas music when they picked us up. I explained my wife works for a cruise line, and just got off her ship after several months in the Caribbean. This trip to NYC was to cram a month of Christmas into four days. When Luxor picked us up, not only did they play Christmas music for us, but had the car complete with lights, fake snow, poinsettias, decorations... it was a Christmas wonderland! Used Luxor recently on a family trip to NYC both to and from LaGuardia and to and from Yonkers. Cars were clean and well maintained, drivers were friendly and knowledgeable​ of the area. Service was prompt and communications were very good. The only reason that this is a 4 star review instead of a 5 is that the online reservation system was very clunky and I ultimately had to call to handle the reservations. Will use again. read more

I used Luxor Limo for my wedding and decided I only needed one Limo with multiple rides. Small human error but a huge mistake especially in their business. Driver went to the wrong address putting him about a half hour away leaving me no choice but to Uber to my wedding so that my wife could be picked up on time. Rest of the trip went as planned. The manager called me and tried to claim the car had engine problems and needed to get fixed to save face I guess... don't blame him for trying but I had already known the truth and had I waited the only 5 minutes he said he would be this would've been a bigger issue. Maybe just admit you messed up and apologize next time. I contacted Luxor the next day and they reimbursed me $100 for the missed trip. Terrible experience called my driver (Terrence) four times and only got voicemail. I had to call the main office to finally get connected. When he did arrive he was angry and rude. He didn't even help me with my luggage. Ridiculously bad service, take an Uber and save yourself money and aggravation. I had a very bad experience with Luxor Limo. I order a 13 passenger limo. We got the Sprinter that says 13 seats but it only has room for 10 comfortably we had 11 people. the seating was very uncomfortable. they advertise it as 13 passengers and in small words, it says12 passengers, in reality, you can only fit 10 passengers great deception. The AC didn't work properly, it was 80 degrees outside and we were sweltering inside the Limo. The driver was driving very fast and was very hard on the brakes. we asked him a few times to slow down and not brake so hard. he didn't listen. I called the company and got an offer of $60 credit. they charged $155 an hour for 8 hours. Never again. read more

*warning* warning* warning* warning* furious about luxor limo! i hired luxor limo for my wedding last year, then covid hit and everything shut down including the church i was set to be married in. i spoke to a luxor rep who said they would change my reservation for the following year no extra charge. when i looked at my email, they charged me $144.00 for "not changing the date" but for "the rates they charge for that date". when i told him what's the difference, you're still charging me, he repeatedly threatened to cancel my reservation even though im two weeks shy of my wedding. they wont even reimburse me to my credit card, they're sending a check by snail mail. if you ever need a car service don't use luxor limo, they don't care about you or your event. they don't care if there was a pandemic, they have no compassion they are the worst limo service around!! when you are heartless as they are, it comes back around. read more

I contacted Luxor Limo after midnight, and they provided a car at 11AM and drove her safely to New Jersey. Driver was polite, on time, and nice to her and her daughter. I used Luxor to take 14 18 year olds upstate after prom - up on a Saturday and back on a Sunday. They showed up ON TIME for each trip and both drivers were very professional. The driver on the way up was very open to my navigating the three hour trip. The driver on the way back was very good about the kids. Tonight my husband and I flew into JFK on a 7 hour flight from London. We have Global Entry and always carry our bags with us to expedite our travel. Tonight we arranged "the meet and greet" service by Luxor Limos only to find no driver there waiting to meets us. This is not the first time this has happened, it is now the second time we've had to chase down the driver to find out where they were. In any event, my husband called the company he was told the driver was on location and they were going to connect us with him, instead the driver admitted that he needed time to get to our location. We ended up in a NYC cab....we are very dissatisfied. To top it off with they would not credit our 160.00 dollars yet, they said a supervisor will call us at some point. DO NOT USE. read more

Perfect pickup at JFK. Sherwin was a terrific driver. Personable, friendly, professional. Found us at baggage claim right away. Cadi SUV merely steps away from baggage. Whisked us to our hotel. First car was late. Then it arrived and instead of being the Mercedes sprinter we booked it was a super stretch Escalade. They never told me the car was being switched and when asked they said it was an "upgrade" because the sprinters lights weren't working...this was not an upgrade for the event we were hosting and in fact a bit inappropriate. We get in the car and immediately the lights go out. We had no lights in our car service the entire day, no a/c, no ability to put our windows down, it ended up being a sauna in there. When I asked for some sort of refund when I first found out it was the wrong car they said they would give me 3% more since there was already a 7% discount applied (not sure why as I didn't ask for a discount, just a rate for the trip when I booked) - that being said I haven't spoken with anyone after the ride since it is Sunday and was told accounting would need to speak to me on Monday. Just got my bill though and it was an additional $207 beyond the quote !!! read more

I booked this company for my daughter's prom a month ago. Prom is next month. This week I received an email saying that back in April they website was having issues and the pricing was wrong. Nevertheless they wanted me to pay over $300 (Over 5 times the original price on my reservation) for a Limo drop off of 2.7 miles. I couldn't believe it. So now is late for me to try and book another company when the prom is less than a month away. I should have read the negative comments before booking. If you're looking for great customer service, let me save you some time and tell you to look for a different limo company. I recently visited New York for Thanksgiving and booked Luxor for airport pickup. So I call upon arrival and let the driver no where I'm at and he says I'm here but in traffic. If you're in traffic you're not there to pick me up. So then I mentioned the e-mail said if you land at terminal B you can access the garage and that we're headed over. The driver said okay I will pick you up there. After waiting 20 mins I called Luxor at which the rep directed me back to the main passenger pick-up. The driver called me back and said I'm 1 minute away. It took just 3 mins to walk back over to where he claimed he was. I called him to locate him and he said he was back in traffic. Now I'm scratching my head. I then called Luxor customer service back to let them know he wasn't there and that I needed at least a discount considering their 15 minute guarantee policy and my pick-up turned into a 55 minute wait. I was then contacted by a manager named Nick via e-mail who stated that the driver was there at 11:20 to pick me up so he was there in time but had to drive around the airport because he couldn't wait. Well that doesn't make since considering my flight wasn't scheduled to arrive until 12pm. Why not pull up at 12:10 or 12:15? Which even if he was onsite it shouldn't have taken from 11:20am to right at 1pm to get picked up. Then Nick went on and on saying they have cameras and GPS, I had to stop him and say not once did you apologize for the poor service I received and the back and forth with the driver of where he would pick me up stating he was there but wasn't physically there. Do you not understand the airport has cameras as well and can display the time that we stepped into the Limo? I travel 50% every month and this was by far the worse experience. Bottom line just do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. Please note that 15 minute guarantee or free means nothing to this company. If you can't stand by your word, remove the lies from the website. This used to be a great service. Tried to book a car for a funeral -- a funeral-- with well over 24 hours notice. Site would NOT allow us to book online. Hmm. Phone rep was incredibly annoying and wouldn't stop talking. They said they would send a quote-- but it was a confirmation! Wow. Driver was horrible. To get from LGA to LI he takes us north to Northern BLVD. I am a native NYer...so I had to basically direct him in the proper direction. A disaster. Never again. Patrick was extremely helpful to change our vehicle selection the day before arrival due to baggage needs. He answered questions rapidly and was very easy to talk with. The vehicle was pristine and we were extremely comfortable. Much better than navigating the crowds in the taxi lines! If I could give 0 stars, I would for their lack of customer service skills. I used them this Saturday night to take 14 people home from a party from NYC to Long Island. Now, I will say the vehicle was clean and the driver was on time, but that is about all i can say good about this company. They overestimated toll costs (how?) and charged my CC more money than the settled upon price (i am told it will be rectified but hasn't yet). That's one thing. Second, unfortunately my sisters boyfriend left his sports jacket in the van which had his house and car keys in them. We were dropped off at 1 am Saturday night and I called them at 10:44 am the next morning when we couldn't find it to inquire if they had it. I was told if they did, i would receive a call back. 6:30 pm with no call back, I called again to double check since we couldn't find it anywhere else and oh yes they had it. However, to get it back to Long Island it would cost over $200!! Or we could pick it up in Brooklyn OR wait 2 weeks to have it shipped because they only ship 2x a month. Now, we take responsibility for leaving it, but the driver did not do a sweep of the vehicle which was a 14 passenger sprinter van and the answer i get via email from the company is that they are short staffed on weekends and it took a long time for the sanitation process. Yet, when we had called the customer service agent told us policy was the vehicle returns to base and any missing items are then put in lost and found with the reservation # on it for the owners to claim. Bottom line, save yourself the headache and get a company who values their customers and not charge you exorbitant amount of money to return valuable lost items. read more
