But what he lacked in linguistics he more than made up for in professionalism, courteousness, safe driving, and cleanliness. Yelp needs a negative rating system to show how displeasing this place is. It is common sense if a customer wants a copy of their FULLY paid invoice ahead of time, just give it to them. You do not tell them to wait until the ride is over. Luxor limo needs to properly train and hire competent people who know what they're doing. Each customer service agent gave different information which was pretty irritating. Get your facts together. They were prompt to answer questions beforehand but once they took your deposit and credit card info, they took their sweet time to get back to you. Similar to one of the reviews below, they try and make you pay for THEIR MISTAKES. I had rented a sprinter limo van but was provided a standard sprinter because they were having problems with the lights. I find it hard to believe this place doesn't have the same vehicle as backup for instances like these. It is not my fault you didn't check the vehicle earlier in the morning knowing a client reserved it for the afternoon They wanted me to pay limo sprinter van rates. This place should be called Thieving Limos. They take advantage of the drivers and I'm surprised they haven't reported them to the better business bureau. After giving my card to the driver and being returned home with in the time frame of the contract, Decided to check bank statement and saw the extra charge of $50.00 didnt pay it anymind took it as a fee for tolls which the tolls were no more than 7.50 each added up to be almost exact. Called my bank and found out while doing so this company ran my card eight times in four hours of dropping me home. Keep in mind I paid In full up front. $687.16 1st transaction attempt /3:55am 2/9/15 amount 130$ 2nd transaction attempt/3:56am 2/9/15 amount 85$ 3rd transaction attempt /3:57 am 2/9/15amount 140$ 4th transaction attempty/ 9:07am 2/9/15 amount 117.20$ and thats only 4 attempts out of the eight, you get the drift its worst then someone stealing your purse in the subway, I trusted them with my information and they attempted to rape my pockets. A trusted business will put all amounts included and even if they have to charge you after it would usually be one attempt under one amount, Not run the card to see what sticks and what we can steal. I took out a fraud claim and closed my account because of them, I will be pressing criminal charges if any other amounts show up after this. spoke to the supervisor and he acted as if its no big deal because the transactions was stopped by the bank anyway. I am giving this company no stars. From the start the service was unacceptable. On a hot August day the limo picks us up and the AC is not working, the driver had no idea how to make the AC work. Finally one of my guests figured out how to turn the AC on. On our way to the venue to take pictures for our lovely wedding the limo starts to smoke, there was a problem with the engine. Instantly my thought is these people didn't even check this car before sending it out on the road. We had to stop on the Jackie Robinson Parkway, people honking , causing traffic. We finally had to slowly take the first exit to get off the highway. I immediately call the limo service and let them know the situation, the person on the phone told us they can't do anything because their manager is not in. They did not assure me that there is another limo coming to get us. The driver then finally let us know that the driver will pick us up in 30 minutes. Of course this was a lie, because we waited over an hour on the side of the road. During his time which I was supposed to be taking pictures for our wedding. When we finally got picked up, I had paid and ordered a hummer originally and what was sent to us was a small limo and a sprinter van so my whole party had to be split up. Not only was the mood and atmosphere already ruined due to the fact that we had to wait outside for an hour but now we have to rush to the party. When I finally got to my final desitination I was not able to take the pictures I wanted due to the time frame I had, I had to rush and go into my party. I called on Monday asked to speak to a manager, explained the situation and stated that if this was him how would he feel, the manager explained he will look into the situation and call me back. After a few hours I check my email to see a modification bill that was no where near to what should have been given back to us. The manager didn't even have the audacity to call me back to assure the discount and discuss what is appropriate. The manager himself, instead of calling back and trying to assure me he actually cares to help just ignored the situation and sent an email. The customer service for all the people I dealt with at this service was beyond horrible and I would never recommend this place to anyone I know. Anyone who is having a wedding understands how important this day is, how much stress time and planning go into one day. You pay amounts and rely on others to help make this day special and when they let you down it ruins your entire day. Anyone thinking of using this service, think again and don't. Booked 2hours in advance for an esclade to pick us up . a suburban that had duck tape on it and looked like it rolled out of advanced autos chrome shop showed up. We paid for a luxury vehicle and were sent a pos. The price of 217.00 was to high for that vehicle 85.00 would have been better. Due to cancelation policy they told us they can't do anything about it. So make sure you don't use this service. You need to cancel 6 houelrs in advance and you have to give them a card before you can resever a car. My recommendation is to never ever use these guys ever. My driver was 20 min. late. The office said he was in the bathroom. That shocked me. Can't a driver use the bathroom before the client arrives? I needed to use the bathroom myself because I was ill. I had expected he would meet me as planned, with a sign help me retrieve my bags as I have a broken shoulder and then wait while I went to the loo. Instead, he wasn't at the carousel with a sign as promised so I got a stranger to help me. Then waited for the chauffeur. When he arrived, I saw he didn't speak perfect English or seem to understand why I was vexed. Felt generally unsophisticated. After I used the rest room he asked me to WALK (dragging one of my own bags) in the cold NY air to a parking lot -- which wasn't what I expected from a limo service at al! I expected to wait on the curb and be picked up by a luxurious car. Because it was freezing out for me (I'm Californian AND I had the flu so I was not loving being out in the cold), I was now more vexed. The whole thing got off to an incredibly tacky start. That said, the driver was a very sweet boy and although a bit unsophisticated about how to speak to elders, he tried to be helpful in every way and even stopped on the road into New York at a gas station for me as I was sick again. What got off to a very bad start between us grew better. The car was comfortable and he seemed like a fine driver -- but no -- I would not call this company again probably -- because my love of limo's is love of EASE, professional promptness, sophisticated politeness, and full on high-class service. Just had my Bachelorette party, I wanted specific limo and Luxor had amazing fleet to choose from. On the day of the event, the driver was on time...here comes big BUT! We had a terrible experience. We booked a limo for my wedding - it was pouring rain, and the driver didn't even have the decency to get out with an umbrella and help me or my guests into the car. He seemed annoyed at how long we took, and ignored our questions about shutting the air off or changing the music. Two stars because we made it to the venue - but that was it. Meanwhile, my bridesmaids that ordered an Uber had gold star service and the driver was completely kind and attentive. He got out, helped the passengers get in and stay dry, and very thoughtful. The flowers I ordered were so ugly it could not be used for a funeral; so we left it in the car. Great experience. We rented a Sprinter for sightseeing in NYC for our family ranging in age from 5 to 80, including two disabled people, and both the vehicle and the driver were perfect. Our route was a challenging one and our driver kept up. The only reason I'm dropping a star is that the vehicle didn't have GPS, so the driver had to use one of our iPhones. read more

I used them for my groups pu from Mahanttan Port on 5.20.18 and they contract the service out to another carrier. The driver Muruf was horrible and would not load our luggage, They also had the audacity to bill me for an additional $232.40 and $16.30 after the fact . They never sent an invoice and when I told them I was calling AM EX they said it was for the additional stops at the airport. I old them not as they never advised this and the driver refused to allow the last guest off until they signed the slip. I am disputing all the charges and I've also had AM EX block them from putting amymore charges thru on my card. I am also lodging a complaint with the TAXI and Limo Licensing Agency . They have charged my card every other day and I've attempted to resolve this with them direclty and they do not call back as promised and all they send is emails asking to rte their c/s. Luxor Limo was informed the plane was delayed and they assured us that everything would be ok and the limo would arrive on time at the confirmed/reserved time. The limo did not arrive on time and ended up being a total of 45 minutes late even though we were told twice the driver was only 10 minutes away. When asked why no one called to notify the passenger or individual who had made the arrangements, the response given was "we were too busy." To make matters even worse Luxor's excuse for being late was due to the traffic and weather conditions. Interesting considering they were supposed to be tracking the flight, are based out of NYC and are aware of the weather, road restrictions, etc. We asked to speak to a manager numerous times and were told over and over that no manger is available until Monday between 8am-5pm ET. After waiting 45 minutes instead of 10 minutes with no courtesy call or updates, apology and receiving terrible, not to mention unprofessional and rude customer service, we do not recommend this company for any of your transportation needs, personal or corporate. read more

He was very professional and apologized and we were on our way. Car was nice and clean. Pleasant ride, unfortunately our driver dropped us off at the wrong hotel! Return trip to JFK, I called and confirmed address with dispatcher. Correct address on reservations. Pick up time came and went. Called dispatcher, driver was at the corner of cross streets, not at hotel. Had to lug our luggage across traffic and go looking for our driver. I'm writing this review on our way to catch our flight. The only reason I'm giving two stars is our driver got us to JFK in an expeditious manner. read more

May have been the worst driver I have ever had to deal with! 45 minutes late & it appeared the customer service reps had no idea where he was. I received multiple texts & calls saying he was close, yet never showed. Once he finally arrived, he never pulled in to the loading area, but stopped in the middle of the walk way during a green light. LGA is already a mess, this made it worse. He never got out of the car to assist with my bags, normally not a big deal, but I had been standing outside for the past 45 minutes and it was freezing. To make things worse, he wouldn't turn the heat on and had the windows OPEN!! During the 45 minute drive the driver routinely cut over 4 lanes of traffic, yelling out the window and making obscene jesters to other drivers for his faults. Now, this is New York so not surprised, but when you pay $200 with a mandatory 20% tip baked in, that should not be tolerated. To finish off a great trip, sarcasm if you need clarification, he pulled up to my house and never got out of the car to help with my bags, but took a personal call and drove off. Asked for a supervisor and said this was unacceptable, they refused to lower the price lower than a % discount and tried to charge $50 for tolls on a route the driver never took. Horrible service. I rarely leave poor reviews but this one was needed. I decided to use Luxor because I saw an American Express promo. Booked a pickup from Met Life after a giants game and boy did I regret it. It started when I called to push up the time 1 hour because the game ended a bit earlier than I thought. The dispatcher told me it was not possible since I requested car seats for my kids. I asked why and did not get any explanation. All I got was the earliest pickup is 5. Somehow I called back and managed to arrange a 4-415 pickup but with no car seats and again, disaster. They did not call me or text me prior to my pickup, I had to call them at 415 asking for a status. Next the driver couldn't communicate effectively where he was or how long until he arrived. We waited in the cold for over 25 minutes and the driver couldn't tell us what Lot he was near or even where he was. He had very poor communication and I waited so long I ended up taking a cab, what a joke. When I called the dispatch to voice my concerns she argued with me saying the game had very heavy traffic. I said I understand that but why not leave earlier if that's the case and not show up 30 mins late. This service was not professional and the driver assigned to me had very poor communication skills. I always wondered why some other firms like Empire and Summit were so much more in comparison but now I know why. Would never use this service again. read more

The service on the phone was excellent. Friendly and efficient. The issue was with our driver. We reserved for 7hrs, when he showed up, he stated that we only had a 3 hour reservation. Booking online was really convenient and our driver arrived on time and was somewhat friendly. After that, it got frightening. Literally, I was frightened for my life! While driving, the driver was reckless and distracted ... on his phone, non-stop eating, and fiddling with his navigation device. Overall, the ride was so unpleasant, I wanted to cry. With very abrupt stops that were so unsettling, I nearly lost my stomach. We swerved into other lanes and had cars beeping at us on multiple occasions.
