Really fricken cheap & fast BUT...there is always a BUT...the drivers barely speak english (primarily Spanish speaking), which can cause some problems if you don't speak it obv. And they also don't know many alt routes or how to get anywhere outside of the WNY area. read more

Called at 4 to be picked up for 4:30. At 4:45 I called to see where the car was. Guy on the phone insisted a car was dispatched and no one was at the address. This wasn't the case because we were sitting in the lobby waiting since 4:20. Another car was sent. The driver was fine but dispatch called over the radio and told the driver there was a increase in fee for the trip "do to the weather conditions"?!?!?!? The ground was wet and there were light flurries so the 2 1/2 mile trip cost us $25!!!!! We called Gonzalez Taxi (201) 766-4004 for the return trip and were only charged $12 (same conditions...actually it was colder so more of a ice threat) the taxi was nicer too. Needless to say in any conditions I won't be calling Super again. read more

Called the night before for a 5am pickup, as well as multiple times the day of between 445am and 500am, only to have a driver show up at 515am, 15 minutes late. Not a huge deal if it were a leisurely Sunday brunch, but created additional stress for an early morning flight that was not necessary. Driver was nice and courteous, although I did not proceed with the ride based upon principle. read more

Super Taxi is located about 6 blocks from my house. We called at 4:10 pm on a Saturday for a 4:30 cab. Went down to the front of our building at 4:20 and waited....and waited....and waited. At 4:50 we called them back and they told us they came and we weren't there. So, they either didn't show up, went to the wrong house, or came at 4:20 and didn't wait. They sent another cab and it got there at in about 10 minutes, 5 pm at this point. We only had to go 2.5 miles. They charged us $25 because of "weather" which in this case meant light snow. Our trip only took 10 minutes. That works out to $10 per mile or $2.50 per minute. Either way it's a ripoff. On the way home we used Gonzalez Taxi and had a much better experience. They showed up in about 7 minutes, got us home in 10 minutes and only charged $12. Plus the car was much nicer. read more

I've booked a reservation with Super Taxi twice, both to drop me off at Newark Airport. They were always punctual and even called in advance to confirm the reservation. Will continue to book airport transfers with them. read more

The other day, my wife had called and asked if she could have a taxi ride to the Palisades Medical Center Emergency room, as our 1 year old daughter had fallen ill, shaken because she didn't have any money to pay, she desperately asked if she could get a ride, the taxi dispatcher told her not to worry about it, that he would send a car right away and he would cover the cost. That is amazing service! Because of your kind service, you enabled my precious little one to get medical treatment, and also helped to calm my wife's already frayed nerves. Customer service like this needs to be recognized and rewarded. Due to your companies kind actions I will make sure when we travel and need taxi service, we will always call Super Taxi. read more

Quite possibly the worst cab company in the area for the simple fact that they blatantly lie to their customers. When they tell you "10 minutes" believe it at your own risk. Sure, you may get lucky, but they're the furthest thing from reliable. My last two times calling I was told 10m, first time took 25, last time I waited 45m before hopping in a cab. If you call them to ask whats going on they will tell you "its on the way". Never again. read more

Had to get to the airport at 5:45 am, scheduled a cab ride in advance. They did not call 10 min in advance, as promised, but the cab was there on time. Spent five minutes at the destination trying to pay with a credit card. Had to call "the base", give them the number over the phone (uncomfortable doing that!). Got a receipt made on an ancient card swipe gizmo from the driver who did not speak English. It felt like going back ten years. read more

I don't know what these people are talking about, but perhaps 5-6 months ago this company didn't have there ish together. Nonetheless, this was a great experience for us. We were a little hesitant based on the reviews and we actually had a plan B. We received and courtesy call stating the driver will be arriving in 5 min, and in 2 min he was there...right on time! read more

No worth a star!! Avoid Driver name MARIO(White Latino, really Short hair, around 5"4', and age 50's)!!! He is a mother F. I took the taxi with my dog. He said that he will have problems with my dog(He can NOT speak english but understand) . So I told him that I will call other taxi company or other driver. Then he ignored and drove. When I arrived , I gave money with average tip. BUT, He was yelling at me. "dog, mucho problem, more money" I asked his name and gave more tip to the Stupid dumbass. When I get off the taxi, He said "carajo" to me. even I am not a Latino, I understand what it means!!!! And the company doesn"t care about it!!! DO NOT CALL the taxi company. Worst taxi service ever!!! they take 30 minutes when you call them, then when you call them again they say the don't have any available taxis when they made you wait all that time. Had this done to me twice already. I suggest you never use this taxi service ever because you will be super upset. read more

I have been using them since 1997 when I moved to West New York and I lived in Harbor Tower on Blvd. East. Then I lived years at the Galaxy and they were still the same quality of dependability. They come in 10-15 minutes - whatever they say and you can call them back and they don't get mad and give you a real ETA. Never had an issue and they speak English. I am not being racist - I am Cuban but was born here - I have no bias. They used to be super cheap and now they charge a little more but the same as everyone else - they don't rip you off. Nothing more to say than you can depend on them - solid service - if it ain't broke - don't go somewhere else! PS - Sometimes I had to go to Hoboken to take the PATH train and I thought $15 was pretty good for the long ride. ESPECIALLY because it costs $8 to go from Blvd. East and 60th to 80th and Bergenline!! Makes no sense and all the cab companies charge that. I digress...just adding that if you have to go to Hoboken for any reason, $15 is a good deal. ok - I'm done now with my review of Super - they are good. read more
