They are quite affordable, yet professional. They always run many specials every month that can be viewed on their website. Each month, they add additional seasonal treatments to their already tremendous amount of services. For services there, I've had a hot oil scalp massage, microdermabrasion, and a mud wrap & salt glow. They are a small operation, so scheduling isn't always the easiest but worth it when you get in. I've played a lot of phone tag with them to get scheduled. I really wish they had online scheduling like almost all other spas these days! I've actually gone to other places twice because I was able to instantly schedule an appointment for the day and time needed rather than wait to have them call me back. For this reason I'd take away a star, rating them a 4. I hope they read this and consider adding an online scheduling feature at some point, the sooner the better. They are easy to find, with plenty of parking in a private lot. Comparing them to other area spas, I'd say they lose a star for décor. While although nice inside, I still think they could improve on the spa feel overall. Little details can go a long way. Service wise itself, I'd rank them 5 stars. I wish you could rank them in different categories on Yelp. That being said, I can't wait to go back for a hot oil massage. They have 5 kinds to chose from based on your specific needs. I called the salon/spa as soon as we hung up with his sister. The person that answered the phone said it was no issue and she was very kind. Unfortunately, later that evening we received an email stating we were no-shows and we were then charged $300 on our credit card. I called to speak to the owner on Monday. Instead of being, compassionate and kind she lectured me on how many visits I had to cancel in the past year. She agreed to the refund but inferred that I am not welcome back and also would not let-up on the cancellation history. We've been frequent guests at BVI over the years and even held our daughter's wedding shower there in 2024. It's disappointing that an experience at Luxe has now colored how I feel about the property as a whole, given how loyal we've been. Of the appointments I did need cancel for medical reasons (13 over the course of a year), my shortest notice was 9 days and longest was 108, averaging about 7 weeks. That's real time to fill those slots, not someone trying to hurt the business. Their cancellation policy states no less than 24 hours notice is required. I did well over that each time. I typically would book months in advance because securing the people I want and the dates/times I want is not easy if I wait too close to the dates/times I need. This causes me to have to adjust the appointments at times due to medical issues I was having at that time. I explained this to the owner, but she still was very aggressive and heartless.

I asked if I should move to the reception area while my nails dried for the five minutes recommended by the Dazzle Dry manufacturer but they told me I could stay where I was. Kelly started on my daughter's nails and gave her a gorgeous manicure! Despite being booked for 3:30, and 4:30 we were finished, cashed out, and home by shortly after 4:30! I highly recommend requesting her. I initially wanted black nails until her nail color intrigued me and I decided to go with a nice chocolate brown color. Shape, length, and color are all perfect.
