Where do I start!!! Horrible experience in every way ! Laura was very pushy, wouldn't tell me the total price for manicure and pedicure. She asked me what shape for my nail tip, and I said oblong, and that was $7 more !! She was rude when doing my nails and moving my hands instead of communicating, she would move my hand to the side. She was upset cause I refused to pay 80 for what they charge me at another place 50. When I paid they don't take the tip on your card, it has to be on Venmo Zelle cash app. I tipped 18% and she didn't like that. If it's great service I tip more, however I regret giving her any tip, but the other girls were excellent. Do not waste your time and money there. Tonight was my first time at Mint Nails but it will not be my last! I was greeted when I first walked in and offered a list of beverage choices to enjoy my experience! Mary did my pedicure and was amazing! She was very attentive and took her time shaping my toe nails, cutting the cuticles and the massage was heavenly! Tracey took charge of my gel-fill and omg I'm in love! I was told by a previous salon I'd have to wait 2 more visits to have my shape changed to almond, and Tracey said "I can do this for you now if you want!" And that's all I needed! She took her time and my nails look and FEEL incredible. Prices are fair, especially for the area they are located! If you pay in cash, there's a 5% discount. I will usually request the mani pedi service with Amy. She's always so attentive to my needs offering refreshments and has outstanding service and quality of work. The salon is always peaceful with relaxing music and a clean environment. I will often travel from Orlando because I have been very happy with the service and how great my hands and feet feel afterwards. I was gifted a gift certificate to this location. I was excited since they are located in a great part of town and along side many other high scale, luxury beauty salons. However, I was not impressed. The technicians reuse nail tools for every customer, only using wipe down disinfectant and UV light storage... while it may seem like enough, this practice is out dated, most modern salons have upscale to disposable tools to maintain hygiene between customers. One technician, Laura, was extremely pushy. After I express my dislike of harsh chemicals used in certain products like gel and dip-- she continued to try and persuade me and up sale. I can appreciate a good sales person but this crossed the line quickly, when she pushed for payment prior to the service being completed. I expressed not want to add tip until the service was completed, yet I was instructed to scan QR codes for Zelle, handed over a piece of paper with phone number for cash app and a username for Venmo... very tasteless to say the least. The final product was decent, if it was accompanied by better service and manners this review would've been very different. read more

I came in to Mint Nails and Spa the other day, I requested a valentines day and originally wasn't very happy with my nails. The girl who did them had done previous work on my grandmother , and she's always done great so maybe she was just having a bad day which is perfectly okay. I left the salon upset because I'm not one to speak up and at the time I was already upset upon coming in so I decided to suck it up and live with it. By the time I arrived home (Maybe ten minutes) The owner was giving me a call to ask if I liked my nails because his wife noticed I didn't look very happy when I left. He asked me to please come back in so they could fix them to my satisfaction. I went in expecting them just to fix the three nails that looked nothing like my inspiration picture, however his wife took one look at the inspiration and redid the design for every finger. They stayed past close and were incredibly accommodating as well as so understanding, and they made sure i was satisfied before I left. Tracy was the one who fixed my nails and I will 100% be rebooking with her from here on out! read more

Pricey, rude technician. They started good, however, if you're just in for manicure, they'll make a fuss.

My husband and I have been going to Mint nails for over a year now. Michael is always professional, greeting you with a smile every time. I get a dip and it usually would not last 2 weeks. With the product Michael uses I can go 3-4 weeks and it looks great the entire time. Tracy is also great, best massage and pedicure ever. Everyone at the spa is very friendly and professional. Save your money and go to another salon. My daughter and her friend had their nails done. Both showed pictures of what they wanted and both turned out terribly shaped and the designs were not straight. One of the girls nails broke within 2 hours of getting the done. When I went back with the girls and asked for them to fix them they said they would charge full price because they got what they asked for. So thankful for Venus nail salon for fixing the girls nails and not taking advantage of teenagers. read more
