Hubby and I were looking for a spot to get a long over due pedi. Went to Yelp and found Top Nails. Location had 4 stars out of 59 reviews, so we went with it. Sooo glad we did! We have been to many different locations and by far Top Nails is now on the Top of the list. Joy was my mail tech and she did an awesome job. Very meticulous and thorough. Foot massage put me in a trance! Hubby said he really enjoyed his pedicure as well. If ever in the area again and in need of a pedicure this will be the spot. read more

Have been coming here for a few years. There have been great experiences and some just okay ones. But! They have always treated my daughters and I with kindness and respect. Every business has some employees that are "just okay" but the owner has always worked to create a good service for a fair price. The day I'm writing this review is no different... we made an appointment. We arrived few minutes early. Nail technicians were ready to take us for our service and quickly got to work. Offered us a complimentary beverage and listened to our requests and quickly got to work. The salon is clean and sanitized utensils were used. Services were delivered as stated and charged appropriately. Music provided serene experience. read more

Updating my review due to how downhill this place has gone since I wrote my original review 2 years ago. This was always my go-to nail salon but I have had such consistently poor experiences the last few times that I refuse to go back. The tech that was always great is no longer there. The ones I have had recently always cut me (multiple times) and don't even care about it. There were even some inappropriate personal comments made to me that simply pushed me over the edge. I really wanted to love this place. It appears to be very clean, everyone was friendly and the pedicure chairs are great! However, my actual nails are pretty terrible. I received a dip manicure and a classic pedicure there less than a week ago. During that time I have had three dip nails chip/crack. That has NEVER happened to me and I have been getting dip manicures for over 5yrs. Not only did they crack but they are way to think and lumpy. I am giving them 2 stars because of what I 1st mentioned above and because I went back there 3 days after getting them done to explain that my nails had chipped and they were nice enough to fix them for me free of charge. Now 6 days later and another nail has chipped. :( Unfortunately, I do not know who did my nails. Her name tag was smuged but I will not be going back. read more

This is a photo a few days after but it was hands down the best dip manicure I've gotten in Lake Mary!! The staff was kind and attentive :) The manicure ended with a complementary back massage (my mom has gotten her nails done here before & they give a massage every time). Absolutely love it here and will be back!! I got a manicure as well as dip polish put on and it came to only $40! Can't beat that. read more

While they were able to fit me in quickly on a walk in on a Thursday afternoon, my nails did not Did not make it to Saturday for my birthday. I got a dip, and it's sooo thin it chips just like regular polish. Very nice ambience and beautiful space. They also offered wine with my dip set. read more

We went for pedicures. We were asked if we wanted something to drink and told them twice what we wanted, but never got it. My big toe was cut really bad and bled for a couple of minutes. Still charged full price for this experience. I definitely do not recommend nor will I be back. read more

Ended 2021 with the ugliest manicure I've ever had. I will rarely leave a poor review but my experience was bad enough that I won't ever go back here. I'm giving 2 stars because the lady was atleast very nice and the salon looks clean enough. Truthfully, I don't think she was actually a nail technician.... I think she runs the front desk but they were busy so she did my nails... I could be wrong but based off how they look ‍ She insisted I needed tips and put them on .... So she had all the advantages to really shape these perfectly and make them all even and as short as possible while all being almond shaped... which is what I asked for. I someone have all different shaped and different length nails... they're all uneven, all lumpy, gel polish was applied terribly... looks like a toddler did them. On top of that, it took her just a little under 2 hours.... For these plain crappy nails. I will never ever go back here and can't wait to get these soaked off. read more

I went here with my partner for a quick pedicure touch up before a getaway trip and we had a great experience. The techs were careful and neat. They gave complimentary beverages and the back massage was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this nail spot for a relaxing escape. It also wasn't busy at all for a Friday. huge plus. read more

This first time I went Jolene did a wonderful pedicure. I called and made an appointment for a soak off and gel it SNS I asked for Jolene. Not till I got there did they say oh she doesn't do SNS abs put me with Mia who was very polite. I didn't wind up staying for any service other than a soak off as they were not able to accommodate what I asked. I did not want a tip on my pinky I asked them to build a nail w the product. I can't believe no one in the salon was able to do this or that they didn't even offer. In my opinion Iris the owner is not friendly and lacks a positive personality. Perhaps it's bc I am a new client but at this point I will not be going back. read more

If you are looking for a place to get your nails done in the lake mary area - this is the place. They are one of the cleanest, most professional, and most cost-efficient nail salons I have been to in a very long time. I came in to get a gel manicure and it was one of the best manicures I've ever had. She was very gentle and gave me an awesome massage once the manicure was finished. The staff is extremely friendly and I will definitely be coming back! Also, the whole month of January manicures are 20% off! read more

I went to Top Nails when I first moved to Lakeland to get my eyebrows done. The gentleman that did it, did a fantastic job. Then 3 weeks later an older women did them and made them super thin. I figured 3rd time I would ask for the original gentleman that did them. Well, he had a new girl so them and I left with wax still on my eyebrows that eventually ripped them off and my toes were trashed after my pedicure. Definitely will not be going back. read more

I would recommend guys to go and get a pedicure, self care is important. I take my daughter sometimes or I go alone to simply have that time for myself. The customer service was fantastic - all of the ladies there are so so nice! I loved the pedicure and they even offered a shoulder and hand massage while getting my acrylic done! Great service and VERY clean nail salon. I called to check availability for a pedicure last minute and they were super friendly and able to get me in. Good selection of polish and relaxing atmosphere. My nail tech Mia was very sweet and offered me drinks, made sure the water temperature was okay, and got me settled in with a menu to decide which pedicure I wanted. I decided on the deluxe and was not disappointed. Very reasonable price as well. My toes look great, nice and neat polish job. She also showed me and set a timer for the 10 minute massage which was nice because sometimes you can feel cheated on the massage portion. After the pedicure she took me to the drying area and gave me a nice little shoulder massage. Amazing service! 10/10 would recommend and I'll definitely be coming back. All the staff were wearing masks and were friendly. Everything was either disposable or came from a sanitized area. One of the best experiences I've had in a nail salon in a long time. I called over the phone and asked how much a full set with only acrylic would be. She told me $31. When I get there they charged me $50. I ask why since I got no polish, no dip powder, nothing. Then tried to tell me I called the wrong number?? How disrespectful. Wouldn't even let me talk to the manager who TOLD ME it was $31, and the manager wouldn't even look at me while I'm talking to the lady up front. They did the same thing to my mom and nobody could tell me a same price. Very upset will be getting my money back. Update: went back to get the $15 I was overcharged and Iris (the manager) put her hand in my sisters face and said "I don't have time" and walked away and started on another ladies pedicure and talked about my sister and I in front of us. Another worker stood up and started yelling at my sister. I get full sets with gel for $45. I got just acrylic with no polish or dip powder and had to pay $50?? They only gave me back $10 and I never even asked for a full refund because quite honestly I like my nails I just wanted back that I was overcharged. But instead got yelled at, while the manager called me a liar to my face and talked shit about me to other customers. Absolutely horrendous Iris. How do you treat loyal customers like this?? read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a salon. I went in hoping to get an SNS manicure (as advertised on their window). I already had SNS on my nails so the technician filed the tops of them and had me sit with my hands in acetone. This is pretty standard procedure, however, the woman who was supposed to do my nails left and did a pedicure and left my hands in the acetone for 35 minutes. After my skin was burned, I took my hands out and waited for someone to come a long. Finally another woman came to look at my nails and told me to put them back in the acetone. I pointed out my skin and she disregarded my concern. I pointed out that if she used a file, the remaining powder will come off and she told me that ruins my nail and it's better to sit in the acetone. I pointed out again how dry and raw my hands were and she continued to ignore my concern. Another woman comes up to me (probably the manager) and tells me I need to soak my hands in acetone to get the remaining powder off (which at this point there was none). I decided to just leave after all of this back and forth and I would not recommend anyway go to this salon. read more

Absolutely ah-mazing!!!!! Mia is small but mighty!!! Her massage on my legs and feet was incredible. And then, while my toes dried, she did a shoulder massage that was ah-mazing as well!!! I honestly don't know where to start all I know is I was MIND BLOWN before I walked out of this nail salon! I am SO SO happy that I decided to go out and get my nails done and wound up at this spot! I couldn't have asked for a better place!!EVERYTHING was literally spectacular. I came in at 7 and they were closing at 7:30 I had called ahead to make sure they're were still open and they said yes. Call ahead if you plan to be that late so they know you're coming! I got a gel manicure and holy cow! I was literally thanking her the whole time because Maggie literally did the whole 9 yards!! And THEN she also gave me a glass of wine and an AMAZING massage and a hand massage with lotion and THEN got a bag of some amazing smelling semi hot wax and put my nails/fingertips in it. I didn't even include all the details of what she did with the manicure and polish part of the whole ordeal! I will FOREVER be returning just for Maggie and this amazing mind blowing service! I really like this place so far. They always offer you a drink when you come in and they end your visit with a short shoulder massage which is a nice surprise. The massage chairs are really nice and the place appears to be clean and pretty new inside. Both times I have gone so far, I have made an appointment. The person doing my nails did not rush and did a great job. Then first time I went it was packed and the second time it was empty but I felt like I got the same quality of service both times which I appreciate. The second time I went I got SNS in addition to a pedicure and the man that worked on me did a great job paying attention to detail. It has lasted me two weeks so far with no problems. The only thing I think could be better is a more thorough job when buffing calluses. The first time I visited I got the "Deluxe Pedicure" and it seemed a little better but the second time I got the basic pedi and it was barely done. They do use paraffin wax on your heels regardless of which pedi you get though which is also a nice surprise! Thank you, I will return! read more

Horrible. Not professional they do what they want not what you ask. Did dipping powder asked the guy not do it thin he did only 2 layers i mentioned my nails break if to thin he just did it his way.. I called them right when I left did not want to talk in front of other customer inside I told the lady on the phone my nails look horrible thin and I wanted them fix she told me she was busy that I did not get it I was the problem and she had my number and would call me back she hang up on me. My nails was done Friday and Tuesday on of my nails broke. Don't waste your time and money here it not worth it. Go to a place where they appreciate you as a customer and you get the service you deserve. They think they are doing you a favor. They gave no skill on customer service.. read more

First new times I came had a great experience, tech Mia was great. Last two times quality not the best for the cost. Second to last time gel mani was falling off within a week. Last visit got acrylic nails for the first time, tech maybe is newer or doesn't seem motivated but huge lack on details. Will be taking business elsewhere. read more
