Disregard the ugly hands (Kim can't work miracles) but she did these nails on Oct 16th almost 7 wks ago and they are still beautiful!! I have filed them several times as they grow out! This has been my go-to since moving to Argyle (several years), so I was very disappointed when I went in the day before Thanksgiving for a gel manicure. I was going out of the country 2 days later. But the next day (Thanksgiving) my gel nails had tiny cracks all over them. Even my brother noticed them and asked if that was what i was going for (the crackle look)? No, sir. I also got a pedicure and the nail tech didn't even remove the easy-to-remove dead skin on my feet. I've had a million pedicures and the dry skin hanging off would've been so easy to scrub off. The nail tech for my hands was rude, seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else. I was not asked if I would like a drink or water. I honestly was really surprised, because normally the manager who I've seen dozens of times runs the place so well. Maybe he was off that day or has left? But the other man managing seemed much less on top of things. I don't want to have to find a new place :( but it seems like I may need to. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I was cut in several places, my nail bed was filed too low in 2 spots causing pain and sensitivity. The acrylic looks horrible and cloudy. A week later and I'm just trying to keep the cuts from getting infections. read more

I've been going to this nail salon for about a year consistently now, and have only ever seen Lauren. I'm 24 and have been consistently getting my nails done since I was 17, and can easily say Lauren is the best nail tech I have ever been to. She will help you with what colors go well with your skin, and does a beautiful job every single time. I started going getting tips put on, but have been able to grow out my real nails since she does such an amazing job and it's rare my nails ever break. They do a great job, clean place, I'm not worried about who I go to. The only reason I didn't do 5-stars is because even when I make an appointment, I wait. One time I waited 30-minutes post my appointment time. When I've called ahead, they are usually able to fit me in sometime that day which is nice. Also, I find myself flinching when I go here because they are very rough. He was giving me attitude when I said I wanted tips with my acrylic set since I already had long nails. He kept saying "I can do that to your natural nails" but I said I would like them longer and a bit thicker. I just feel like he was being lazy and didn't want to do the extra work. After going back and forth he finally agreed to add tips, but was giving me attitude the entire service. This place is awesome. Friendly service. I recommend the Fresh Aloe Vera pedicure. I can't give much advice for manicures because I'm a plain and simple manicure person. I had Jenny for my Pedicure. She did a great job. I appreciate when the person providing the service asks you how you like your nails (short or long) and how you like your massage. It makes for a better experience. I just moved to the area and wanted to find a new nail salon. I read all the reviews and found this business. I made an appt and had my manicure by Kimmie. My nails and fingers are small and bend from birth. Kimmie decided to go and tell someone else in the salon about my hands so they come over and try secretly to get a glimpse of my hands. I felt like a freak show and found it completely unprofessional & insulting to make fun of someone else's challenges. I told the manager & he apologized and gave me a discount.
