Holly did my toes this morning, she did an excellent job! She was so personable and kind. I appreciate her time she took with me and just did her absolute best on my toes, i havent had a pedicure in so long and i needed some tlc to say the least! Super quick, i got the classic pedicure and it was perfect because i didnt have a babysitter this morning. So i took my eight month old in the nail salon with me (i was so scared, but she did amazing) 30 mins and i was in and out! My toes look great too. I made an appointment for this afternoon to get acrylic nails done, unfortunately Im not sure if im going to follow through with it (because I would have a sitter by then) The one and ONLY REASON why i wouldn't give 5 stars is because the male working at this establishment gave me a very snarky, distasteful look when he saw me with my eight month old, then made it obvious he was talking about us to the other coworkers. *again it was clear he was not happy about us being there* (He POINTED and continued to talk in foregin) I just feel like if there was a problem with me bringing my child to a salon, it could be handled more professionally. read more

I used to come here so much when I was in high school. Years later I've come back and the service is horrible compared to how it was. Super rushed and unprofessional. Today I had a full set. I had a previous set on but I wanted to change the shape. The "technician" proceeded to remove the acrylic nails with a spare nail that she had. Yes it HURT! I've never seen it done that was. I told her that it hurt and she said that's the way they do it there. The host made me and my girls feel like a burden there. Seems like they aren't kid friendly anymore. The job was so rushed. Literally something I could have done myself. But somehow there was nothing they could do about it and proceeded to charge $53. Honestly ridiculous and disappointing. I understand business during the pandemic but this is stealing. I have 3 girls and don't always have time or money to be getting my nails done. I could have used that money elsewhere. A place that used to be my absolute favorite has turned into the worst. Not to mention the bloody cuticles too because she went too fast. Went into this place with high hopes! Maybe that was my mistake. Heard lots of good reviews from friends and coworkers. Went in and there was very friendly staff! Short 15 minute wait to be seated for a gel pedicure. Prices were great compared to other nail salons I tried but I would much rather pay more to never have to go through what I went through after a pedicure here. The lady doing my pedicure dug into my cuticles and dug into ingrown nails (that i didn't even know I had because they weren't bothersome) to the point where i was audibly saying "ouch! that hurts!" to which the lady doing my pedicure laughed at and kept going. The next morning I woke up with a bright red swollen toe. It was difficult to walk for days and ended up having to be treated with antibiotics and lots of draining. I'm not sure if it's a lack of cleanliness, bad luck, or maybe even both. I was told by so many people to go back and ask for a refund but I just didn't have it in me to do so and wanted the pain to be over and done with. It's safe to say despite loving the prices, I will never be going back. read more

My review is about their customer service. I went in tonight to get my acrylics taken off and I wanted to get a dip powder manicure. I have been getting my nails done for over 15 years and I feel pretty confident that I know what my nails can and cannot handle. I requested they do not use the buffer machine as my nails are naturally already weak and I don't want any layers of my nail bed filed off. I told them I understand it takes longer to have my acrylics soaked off. I don't know who the man was but one of their male technicians was disrespectful in his tone and manner with me. He was pushy a and rude, was upset that I didn't want them to file my nails down with the nail buffer because for him it would have been a quicker service. Again I explained that I'm trying to preserve what little strength my nails have. He proceeded to talk about me in another language. At this point I was annoyed at the disrespect and ""pushy-ness". I decided my self-respect was more important that a manicure so I left. I am more than happy to pay for the service I am requesting. A nail salon is a place of service - I shouldn't have to argue my way into the type of service I am requesting. I never write reviews of my negative experiences because I understand the value of quality services and sometimes one bad interaction isn't a reflection of the entire business. HOWEVER - It's getting really old walking into a nail salon and having the workers make it obvious that they are talking about you in another language. And the culture of that needs to stop - so one review at a time I guess is what I can do. It came with a scrub and callous remover but massage was not even 5 minutes. She did a good job though. Kim did an excellent job on my fill. Took her time and the polish looks really nice. It was your typical nail salon. Paid for the 60 minute pedi but it was more like 45 minutes. They were able to get me in at my appointment time which was nice. Previous reviews stated that they asked them to come back in an hour even with an appointment. I have been coming to this salon since November 2015. Although not as frequently as I would like, they never disappoint! Everyone is so friendly! My experience today was no different. I text them at 9:15 this morning for a gel manicure and luxury pedicure at 1pm and got a response within 2 minutes. They make it so easy to get in. Holly did my gel manicure and Cuong did my pedicure. They are both so talented. I have also had Cuong do a full set before and I loved the way my nails turned out. Stephanie at the front is so sweet and welcoming. We have all been to other nail salons where they don't give you the time of day and Luxury Nails is DEFINITELY NOT that place. I just left this place and my experience was so bad that I couldn't wait to write the review. I came to this salon because the place I regularly go was too full. I got a mani (female technician) and pedi (male technician). I asked for matching colors, however, the selection of matching colors for regular and gel colors is very limited. So either you get both gel or regular OR your toes and nails will not be the same exact color. My female technician was very careless, she even cut me once while trying to cut my cuticles. She spent the whole time talking with the male technician. She was so distracted that she even told me to put my hand in the UV light and she didn't even apply the coat before so. When she was done with the last coat (clear) she did not wipe my nails with alcohol as they do it at other salons. She finished the massage and just walked away. She didn't even care to file the uneven and sharp corners. I literally grabbed the file and started doing it myself. My male technician was OK. However, after he was done painting my toenails he didn't put the toe divider as they usually do so they don't get messed up. I asked him and he said no, that's OK. I do not feel bad about not tipping. The place is not relaxing and I wish technicians could be a little bit more conscious about this. For some people, this is our quiet time and the last thing we want is someone talking out loud right in front of you. Maybe customers who are regulars have a better experience, however, I can't say the same. I would not be back to this place not even because is walking distance from my house. read more

This was my first time coming here. I absolutely loved my experience! I am 33 weeks pregnant, so they really made sure that I was comfortable and had anything I needed. I got a gel mani/pedi for my baby shower on Saturday. It took them about an hour to do my nails and toes. They were busy, but had enough nail technicians, so I was able to get my nails and toes done at the same time. It was a really great experience. I was falling asleep! I spent $74 for gel mani/pedi. The reason I use Yelp is because it allows me the opportunity to share my own experiences and observations that others may find useful and for me to gain insight when I'm searching for a new business/restaurant myself. Loann's response to my review reinforces my previous decision of never recommending or patronizing that particular nail place again. I understand why some people might find it convenient to go there and if that works for them or they have consistently good experiences, great...! As for me, I can't recommend a place I don't believe in. When I wrote my updated review, Loann took the time to write a response but she didn't take the time or care enough to pay attention to the real concerns I noted. Rather, she ignored or dismissed them and even suggested the facts we experienced and I shared were not the case. The beauty of owning your own business is to run things the way you see fit. I'm sure some people utilize constructive criticism to improve their business and others dismiss it. But being 8 months preggy has made it difficult to do my own toes so I went to Luxury. To me, a nail place is good if no blood is shed or pain felt, salon is clean and the staff is friendly- which I experienced at Luxury Nails & Spa. I felt bad walking in 45 min until closing but they were so friendly and told me they had plenty of time for me. I was just going to get a pedi but thought what the heck, I'll get a mani too. The receptionist was really nice and offered me a variety of drinks to choose from as I got comfy in my spa chair. In the end, I was happy with my nails. I couldn't decide on a color but the nail stylists were patient with helping me choose one. My mani by Tina was great. My pedi by Nancy was great too. I drive by this salon regularly and had to stop by briefly for some low maintenance waxing... (with my toddler daughter in tow). This place has such an adorable ambiance, superb customer service w complimentary beverages, a butterfly spa pedicure chair for girls... my daughter will surely be spoiled in.
