My anxiety was pretty bad when I walked in. Lab was very respectful to my need to listen to music and close my eyes as she pampered me. She is extremely skilled at her craft. Everything was perfectly hot. She made my toes and feet look and feel amazing again. By the time I left I had been able to completely relax and I was able to breath better. I have been going here for awhile and just noticed the QR CODE for reviews so I thought I'd finally leave one! When i first started going i would just walk in when I needed a pedicure and would just go to anyone. I then went to Jackie for a long time until she left to start a family. I've been now going to see Lan for a few years now. She is absolutely fantastic. Very caring, remembers my pets names. She gives an excellent massage too! Love that they use Parafin. Honestly I wish I could love this place but I had some complications with giving 5 stars. Let's start with..The positives: Scheduling is so convenient and easy over the phone. They always have availability soo and within 20 minutes which is perfect for my drive over. I love the entire design of the salon it's sooo lovely, clean, stylish, well lit, and aesthetically pleasing. Another great thing is there's always so many close up parking available. I always get up front parking every time I come here (3 times). The location and salon design itself as all 5 Star quality. I also love how they have soo many colors and designs available. I seen a nail lady practicing floral designs that looked so lovely and heavenly. They also have nail decals that you choose for a guaranteed look. Also the pricing is moderate yet not too high for nails. For builder gel removal + builder gel nails with color I pay about $60-$70. (I did notice that the price changes...) The reason I gave this salon 3 stars is the staff and the quality of work. I will say the man who runs the front desk and phone is always polite, focused, and professional. The first time I got my nails done I liked the lady she was very nice and asked a few questions but mostly was focused on the nail work. I really liked her a person and my nails were pretty decent (not perfect but good enough tbh). I did go home to shape them properly (which I don't mind because I am a perfectionist) because they were crooked along the tops. The problem I had is when I got home I noticed my white nails had LOTS of tiny lint and tiny little black dot spots stuck under the clear top coat. WTHECK. I was so disappointed because I did not see this until I went home. The lady was very careful so I wasn't sure how this happened.. the only thing I can think is about how her clear gel top coat look very/old so I think her polish had tiny black particles in it. I'm sure with her face close up she would've noticed the tiny black spots and lint but she didn't correct or say anything... I spent $70 + a $15 tip on these nails. Also within days the top corners started lifting and my natural nail corners at the top broke on two fingers broke due to no protection from the builder gel.. maybe because I filed down the crooked tops but who knows.. The second time I scheduled a pedicure and a fresh builder gel manicure at the same time. I went on a Tuesday and the salon was completely empty. I did enjoy my pedicure and it looks pretty nice with classic white. My problem I had is the lady decided to talk on the phone the WHOLE time during my pedicure. It's hard to relax when someone is just chatting away for a FULL 30/40 minutes. I feel like that was so unprofessional.. Can't you take a call after the service? It was only 30/40 minutes. Anyway the lady was nice and did a good job but the non stop chatting on the phone made the experience a bit unpleasant... As a "Luxury Spa" I would expect some care and maybe quiet time not my pedicure lady being on the phone the entire time.... lol. I paid $60 and did a $10 tip because I hated the fact the lady was talking non stop on the phone my WHOLE service... Another issue I had was I had a man doing my builder gel manicure and his work was very flawed. I feel a little bad because he was SO FOCUSED and worked hard on my nails for literally like 2 hours. BUT when he finally finished there were soooo many flaws, unevenness in the paint, cuticle gaps, uneven shaping, sooo many imperfections. I honestly felt VERY DISAPPOINTED. But since the man tried very hard for two hours.. I didn't say anything. He definitely needs a LOT more practice to be in a professional salon. But I was thankful that he was quiet, focused, and professional during the service... I paid $60 for this set and did a $10 tip because I honestly was not happy with the nails but I know he tried his best... I went home and corrected a lot of the flaws since I'm pretty good at nail shaping. I noticed the apex on a couple nails wasn't built properly and the gel was uneven. I told myself I would get it corrected else where but I got too busy so unfortunately within two weeks two nails started lifting at the bottoms because the builder gel work was done improperly. :( I think it's just like 3 strikes your out. First the black dots/lint in my white nails... Secondly the lady talking on the phone my WHOLE pedicure (30-40 minutes).. Thirdly I know that man tried very very hard but the work was super flawed and not done correctly. So sorry I'm not coming back here but I definitely love the decor + design of the salon. I'm writing this review while sitting in their new massage chairs--great chairs. Cindy, who is new to this spa, is giving me a Tangerine gel pedicure. She's so sweet and has a lovely personality. I love how gentle and attentive she is to detail, and she takes pride in her work. My toes look fabulous. I haven't had a bad experience here, and I think Cindy is a wonderful addition to Luxury Nails Spa. I'll definitely be requesting her next time. I came into the salon to get a basic manicure pedicure gel set. I was charged $170 They really said $60 for a child with already file down nails. It was more of the massage and just sitting in the chair while it bubbled up. My manicure pedicure is so basic. I don't know how it's even close to being $100. There's many different nail salons out there that would be doing a better job fraction of the price just steer away. So they charged me. Basically, $70 for a child pedicure with no paint. No nothing. Just a quick file of nails that were already file down. It basically was more for the experience since my grandson. Wanted to try it out. That price was ridiculous. It's basically charging for a full set of nails. I would honestly go find somewhere else. There's plenty of salons that do a better job, and that won't charge you a ridiculous amount. My technician Ann was very sweet but as she was filing off the polish her own nail was digging in a few times & then as she was cleaning up my nail bed she stabbed me multiple times with her tools - she apologized but like how many times & how deep are you trying to go, they only go so far !. After my favorite nail tech left, there's been no reason to come. But recently I was in the area and decided to get a last minute pedicure. The interior is nice and clean. However, it was quite sus when my nail tech guy gave me the menu and opened it to the most expensive pedicure section. He acted like there were no other options but I opened the previous page and saw lower cost pedicures. He flipped the page back to the expensive side and insisted I choose from there. I didn't like that at all, but fine, treat myself day. He was cutting my cuticles and nipped my big toe. It started to bleed and burned when he put the nail polish on. He didn't apologize or anything, just wiped the blood off hoping I wouldn't notice. Next day, my skin has pus. I call to ask to make sure all the tools are clean and the manager doesn't apologize either. He just instructs me to put alcohol and Neosporin on it and says he'll talk to the guy. No offer for future credit or a refund. Sad this place with so much work put into looking nice doesn't have equally nice services and skills. read more

I was serviced by CINDY, right from the beginning she was very sweet and attentive to me as she gave me the tangerine gel pedicure, she cleaned my toes up VERY NICE, although a little painful when cleaning the sides of my toe but no sign of blood which is what has happened to me in the past with other spas. As you can see my nails are riddled with streaks. I took this pic immediately after I left the store. I was talking with my sister and then we were in a hurry because she had to get to a birthday event - so I finally looked at my nails just as I left the building. The lady who did my nails was rude and pushy the entire time, getting upset with me for not taking my hands out of the light quick enough when in reality she didn't let each layer properly dry. Also, I said I only wanted a color change and she insisted my cuticles needed work--well as you can see she didn't clean my cuticles up as that's how they looked when I came in. It's always awkward to go back and ask if that's normal, and I didn't have a car for a few weeks (long story). My friend saw my nails and let me know it's NOT normal and should be fixed. I called up the salon and explained, even told the guy how I have a dated picture and he said I would have needed to call them up immediately. (I still have the manicure on fyi). I told him I didn't know I could have done that because I've never had this happen before, he said too bad. So here we are now - me warning you that they will do a rush job, upsell you, and unless you immediately walk back in--their mistake is on you. He didn't apologize either. The man did the pedicure and it was fine, I asked for the cheapest/most basic pedicure and gave me one that was $20/30 more expensive than the basic. Overall, they have terrible customer service and don't give you your moneys worth. Mistakes happen, heck even if he didn't want to fix it--he could have been nice about it. Just "ok". Everything was going great until I started asking questions and the gel was placed over. Only dipped 1 time and then 7 layers of gel added. During the drill process I asked why she only dusted the dipping powder off one hand and not the other and she told me not to worry because she knew what she was doing. At that point I couldn't even mention the bumpy gel because I was actually embarrassed for her. Overall I was happy with the color because it matched my toes. The pedicure was "ok" as well. Very pushy on upselling the more expensive pedicures. I requested massage to be on the arches of my foot but after 4 minutes of the 10 minute massage she wrapped them in the hot wax. Desperately been looking for a good salon for over 10yrs now in San Jose. I hadn't gotten my nails done in over 6 months and this was a disappointment. Please message me if you know of a good salon! Adding one more thing because after reading other reviews I was reminded about this: When I asked to get my nails done as my pedicure was in progress the nail lady comes over and started talking sh*T to the pedicure lady. I immediately pulled out my translator app and when they heard the noise to record they stopped speaking. As soon as I put my phone down they continued and kept laughing. My second pedicure after 3 weeks, and legs and feet massage felt so good I feel like I'm walking on clouds.
