First visit and was impressed with the service. Each salon chair had a fluffy pillow placed on the seat with a phrase for Mothers. A cleaver way to celebrate Mother's day. I enjoyed a delicious complimentary mamosa. The atmosphere allowed me to relax while listening to peaceful instrumental music and having a nice girl chat with the manicurist KELLY, also owner. I used to come here pre-covid, so thought I'd return for a simple mani-pedi. The quality has gone down and the shop looked unkept. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time while several technicians were roaming about, including the owner.My technician and several others apologize for the wait???? My tech was very inexperienced and cut my toe, honest mistake, but kept pushing more services. I had little time, but I really can't deal with the constant badgering to upsale me! They were my first amazing dip experience and the standard I hold all other dip salons to! It does get busy so make sure you call ahead. They also keep up on seasonal colors so be sure to ask if you don't know which are the newest. Jenny is the REAL DEAL! I have been 4 year loyal customer at a nail salon closer to my home. I walked into Lavemdar NAILS while my nail lady was outvof the country. I was so lucky Jenny took me right then and there. I explained I was only going to be a ONE TIME CUSTOMER, since my regular nail lady I loved. I explained how I had been to 7 different nail salons to finally settle on the one who did my gel nail fill that could last 3.5 weeks before popping off. Jenny asked why they popped off at all. I explained I wash my hands SO FREQUENTLY. Well I'm now a LOYAL CUSTOMER OF LAVENDAR NAILS! The gel fill lasted 5.5 WEEKS AND NOT ONE NAIL POPPED OFF! They over charged me I intentionally.. I went in and tried to get it fixed the owner lied to my face. Charged me 62 dollars for a "fill". I got pink and white power on already existing tips. I really like this place. I heard a lot about dipped powder and was Yelping to find a place that provided this service. There's not a lot of nail places in the bay that does this service. So glad I stumbled upon Lavender Nails. They use the SNS brand which has lots of good things in it for your nails. I got my nails done for $40 and it lasted for four weeks. It could have lasted longer but I decided it was time for a new color. I even tried to purposely peel it off and it wouldn't come off. If didn't even chip at all! I was able to get the powder on my real nails and avoided the acrylic ones. However you can still get it done with acrylics. It's a bit pricier than other places or if you were to get gel, but it was pretty worth it. Normally the dip powder finish is more matte looks but if you want the gloss shine like the ones in this picture, you have to ask for the led lights at the end. The healthier way is without it but I just like the last step of the Light for the shine in my nails. They also have wine and mimosa served to you! read more

I use to come here and get my nails done for special events. I normally get the dip powder since they last longer. However each time I come here I noticed that they would always rush my nails so they can fit more customers in. They definitely don't spend enough time to perfect your nails. The lady with her short hair always does my nails and I never feel comfortable with her. This one time I came an hour before closing (the lady on the phone said it was okay) and then she rushed on my nails so she can go home. Some of my thumb was missing some of the powder dip and I asked her about it and then she blamed me for moving my finger. She had to redo it and then she ended up cutting my finger. Then she blamed me again for moving my finger. I was speechless and I didn't know what to say but stay quiet. Then I booked my appointment for another day in the morning and I was the only customer there. Once another customer came in I noticed that she started to rush on my nails again so they can move on to another person. The dip powder was okay.. they always come out super thick and messy. I noticed that the lady with the short hair always tends to touch my nails too early because the top coats always has dents from her rubbing it with the towels when it's still wet. I don't recommend coming here for a basic design. I recently got my nail done at "Love Nail" and I asked for dip powder. He did an amazing job with shaping and taking his time on my nails. I always thought it was normal to have thick nails after but then I realized that lavender nails don't put enough effort to shape and correct them.. I'm glad I found a new place. read more

This was a first time visit for me, but won't be my last. I wanted to pamper myself with a gel mani and basic pedicure. i came on a weekday morning, which is generally a quiet time. I made an appointment anyhow and was seen promptly. Lee did my basic pedicure and Holly did he gel mani. She talked me into trying the dip organic gel because it doesn't require the multiple minutes of curing under UV light. I am happy with the results. In total the basic mani and gel dip would run $65 which is a little steep for me. However, I want to see how long this set lasts since it could be a good value with longer between visits. Other Positives: There is no acrid odor in the store and 11 mani/pedi stations, plus they are open weekdays quite late which I appreciate as a working person! read more
