Stopped by to get a quick mani/ pedi around lunch time. The staff was polite, and very friendly. I asked three different people for advice on a nail color and all were eager to help. I never make reviews. I'm writing this in my car- WOW. I have been living in san antonio for 4 years anf have gone everywhere, this is the best nail salom hands down. The customer service checking in, amazing. The gel color selection and BRANDS offered, they have Chaun Legend polishes!! I got exactly what i asked for, they have cute little drinks for you. This place is beautiful, with a nice ambiance, nice service, and good drinks! I accidentally walked in here one day when looking for the eyelash place I was going to. I came back and had my nails done. They turned out nice. I had acrylic nails with polish and they gave me a margarita while I had my nails done. Everyone was friendly. Found this place while looking for a new nail place im glad I gave it a chance this is my third time coming and I will keep going foreverrrrr lol Kim and Tiffany have been my absolute favorite as well as the customer service staff top tier! The vibes are calm and friendly they serve drinks soda water coffee so Thats a plus i always get water and it's a full sized bottle that is cold so love that. They have plenty of staff so I have never had to wait ever and that's because I always come as a walk in since I never know what my schedule will be like and I am always seated right away. read more

What an exciting experience! They really pamper your pedi's! Bringing out the whole enchilada!! Candle light, stones,wax, oranges all for your feet. My feet feel amazing still. Have gotten my eyebrows done a few times (with different girls) and haven't been satisfied. The one was on the phone the whole time on her air pods. This last one was sloppy and didn't it in a hurry. Had to come home and clean it up and finish plucking. I have gotten pedicures in the past also and never had issues with that. Don't recommend waxing. read more

Run...don't walk!!! I was a walk-in to the nail salon today looking to get fills with my as per usual acrylic nails. Ryan, was my nail tech and he did such an AMAZING job with the Gel Builder nails. LUXX Nail bar- Mccreless location/San Antonio This was my first time here and my daughter's first time getting her nails and feet done. I will say this is the best and friendliest nail salon I have been to here in San Antonio. We moved here 2 years ago and have yet to find a good salon out here for me. I now can say I am going be a returning customer! Our nail techs were Jason & Tom and do amazing work. The receptionist is so sweet and The masseuse Rosa is awesome. Massage is complementary. First time at Luxx, was referred by 3 different people. It did not disappoint!! From the initial call to schedule the appointment to the goodbye walking out the door. Henry was my nail tech for my spa mani and spa pedi. He was awesome! The front staff (I think her name was Kim, green highlights) was great upon signing in to making their rounds to check on each of us. The atmosphere was great , very relaxing. I have been a regular customer and rarely experience issues, which made this situation particularly disappointing. I paid for a shellac pedicure, and the polish came off twice within a few days. I returned within the stated grace period and calmly requested either a refund or store credit. The manager, Pati Trinh, refused all options, was dismissive and unprofessional, and stated that if I did not accept a redo, I would be asked to leave the premises. Including the original appointment, I visited the salon a total of three times to address the same issue. Pati was uncooperative and refused my request to escalate the matter to discuss available options. I ultimately accepted a redo solely to resolve the issue. I hope ownership will review how situations like this are handled in the future. It is clear that the customer loyalty and the spirit of good faith mean nothing to Luxx Nails. From this experience, I've learned that all is great at Luxx until you experience a poor service and voice your opinion, then their attitude truly changes. read more

Me and my boyfriend vacationed to San Antonio and we searched for a good place to go that took walk ins and this place was amazing. Very friendly environment lots of workers. We didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes to get in for two pedicures. He had the milk and honey pedicure and i got the cucumber one! 10/10 would come back next time. I went 3 weeks ago to get a pedicure and a full gelx set and let me just say the experience was AMAZING. My nails are all still very much on and not lifting and my toes still look like I just got them done yesterday. I will be going back this week to get another pedicure and set. I've been coming here for a couple of years now. And I'm so glad the last manager left. She was very rude and dgaf. But Andrew is amazing! Always tries his best to understand. If I'm having a hard time communicating what I need to my tech I'll ask Andrew to explain it. I 9/10 get what I ask for here manny because I stick to the same tech. I'm a complicated nail design person and need someone patient. I have no problems waiting for a tech so I don't get a horrible paint job. Also love that they have 5 day insurance so if it breaks or messes up they will fix it I will admit a little Pricey but totally worth it to me. read more

Absolutely love my marble nails! The nail tech Joy was a quick worker, but very attentive to me. I originally asked for red marble nails, but it looked a bit like blood dried onto my finger tips. It would've matched my Halloween outfit better, but I opted for the black. Joy very kindly made the adjustment and she did a great job doing the marble design by hand. The picture doesn't do it justice. The owner here (Andrew) is very nice and cares about the quality of service. The environment inside is very luxurious with comfortable chairs and clean work stations. I'd definitely come again and recommend the marble design. Only cost $10 more for the design. read more

I took off my bottoms only and received a towel wrap that had snaps to fit on my waist. I laid on the table and let the lady know I was ready through the closed door. She came in and got to work. I would say it's uncomfortable but not unbearable. Mandy is considerate and would offer breaks but I just went the whole time nonstop. It's good to have at least a weeks worth of hair but not too much hair or else that's more pulling. Mandy went to work on the front and the BACK. The front was more effort than the back. The back goes really quick and is much easier to handle. A little weird feeling but manageable. I was there for about 30 minutes and it really all goes quickly. Mandy will talk to you throughout to make it less awkward and as pleasurable as possible. Overall it was not scary or way painful. I will be back for another. I know over time the hair will get thinner and waxing will be easier.

Trisha was the lovely nail tech that provided my services. Wow! I don't say this very often but I was more than impressed with her work! Not only was she very skilled and talented with her work, she was also very friendly and a pleasure to be around. I can happily say that I have finally found my new nail place! She was welcoming, friendly, and quickly put me at ease when I explained what I wanted. I last had a balayage out of state 7 months ago and no toning sessions in between. She was honest when the color wasn't quite popping enough after the wash and asked if it would be okay if she took a little longer to get the color I wanted. With busy schedules, I found a day that worked for everyone and booked my appointment. I arrived about an hour early so I could enjoy the hot tub before my massage. I was also planning to take advantage of the spa amenities afterward and grab lunch at one of the restaurants. About 10 minutes before my appointment, I put on my robe and headed to the waiting area. As my appointment time came and went, I watched every other guest get called back for their massages while I continued to wait. After another 10 minutes had passed, I finally went to the front desk to ask what was going on. The manager came out and informed me that there had been a miscommunication and my massage therapist was unable to make it to work that day. Unfortunately, there were no other therapists available and no alternative appointment times. I was simply told they were sorry and that I would need to reschedule. At that point, I broke down in tears. This wasn't just a massage, it was my birthday gift and my first opportunity to step away from the chaos and demands of postpartum life. Having that experience taken away without any notice was incredibly disappointing. To their credit, they did offer me a complimentary massage whenever I am able to rebook, which I appreciated and accepted. However, this was a very disappointing first impression. A simple phone call before I arrived could have saved me the time, effort, childcare arrangements, and emotional letdown.

I have been a regular customer and rarely experience issues, which made this situation particularly disappointing. I paid for a shellac pedicure, and the polish came off completely--twice--within a few days. This was not a minor chip or smear; the polish fully detached. Despite returning within the stated grace period and taking the time to visit the salon three separate times to address the same issue, I was unable to resolve the matter satisfactorily. When I calmly requested either a refund or store credit, the manager, Pati Trinh, refused all options and responded in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. While a "no refund" policy was posted, there was no mention of store credit. I was also told that I could either accept the redo offered or leave the premises. I understand that a business must protect its interests; however, this was a clear service failure rather than a minor imperfection. A well-run business should be able to objectively assess such situations and exercise reasonable discretion when applying rigid policies. These matters are not always black and white. I ultimately accepted a redo solely to bring the situation to a close. I hope ownership will review how customer concerns are handled, particularly when a loyal customer raises a legitimate issue. Respectful, good-faith communication is essential, and throughout this interaction, I remained calm and respectful. read more

Nail salons are a dime a dozen, but if you want quality AND beauty then please go by Luxx Nail Bar. The owner, Andrew Nguyen is an artist! (This first visit to his newest store I wanted something small since I'm on vacation and not getting out of the house much. And I got exactly what I envisioned.) Other times though, I can go in with an idea of the color scheme or any art design I want and he brings it to life. (And I always get compliments on my nails!) I have never been disappointed in one set of nails from him. I have been seeing Andrew for over a year now, but my sister has been a customer for many years--even between different cities--because that's how talented he is. All of the technicians are more than capable though--I've had really nice dipped sets from several other techs as well. (You can get dipped, ombré, matte, bling, etc...) As much as I love my cute fingernail designs, my pedicure time rivals them because it's so relaxing. And there are plenty of massage chairs at this location if you want to do a group pedi-party! So go try out Luxx Nail Bar, walk-ins are accepted. If you want Andrew though, make sure to make an appointment, he is popular and in demand. Of course you can get your pedicures, waxing, and facials there as well. Luxx Nail Bar is off of S. New Braunfels, the old McCreeles Mall area, the salon faces Bealls. read more

ZERO STARS Save yourself the disappointment. Keith who is the manager or owner is horrible at what he does. I was a loyal customer for over a year. Came to get my nails filled at 10:30am on a Friday, by 6:30PM on the same day one nails was broken. Please note I was sitting in my car for 5 of those hours as I drove to our vacation location! Called them the same day to let them know my nail broke and I took photo evidence. Came in 6 days later to fix the nail as this was when I was back in town. I get my nail fixed by my nail person Lynn who is amazing. When it comes time to check out Keith states I have to pay to get my nail fixed !! I was like what!!! Because it was a fill they don't guarantee the work? Never have I ever had to pay for this when it was clearly not filled correctly. I'm disappointed as a customer however customer service is very important to me. I will no longer visit this establishment due to the horrible customer service practices of Keith. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the disappoint, find a different location! read more

Ive gone to so many nail salons in San Antonio and nothing compare to this one. everyone was so nice our nail techs listened to exactly what we wanted. I didn't feel rushed at all. I've been coming to LUXX Nail Salon on the Southside of San Antonio, and I can't recommend it enough! Mr. Kevin is my go-to nail tech, and he is always such a professional. His attention to detail and consistency always leave my nails and toes looking amazing. What really stands out is the quality of service--Kevin makes sure everything is perfect, and I honestly don't mind waiting for him because I know I'll leave 100% satisfied. Love this place. Not gonna lie, it's a little small inside and they don't have chairs for you to sit on when you wait but they do get you in a seat pretty fast depending on the type of service you're gonna get. The pedicure station are pretty close together, but lina does a AMAZING JOB. I recently worked with DIOR and he did my nails soooo perfect. Exactly how I wanted them. 10/10 would recommend. I was a loyal customer to Asiana nail lounge by north star but the last time I got a pedicure there it wasn't the best. I love my new salon. read more

Our first visit here at Andrew's new salon was great as always. The atmosphere is relaxing and they always have great music playing. All of the nail techs have excellent customer service and are overall friendly. My family and I have always followed Andrew because he is the absolute best when it comes to nails. I'm really surprised at the amount of negative reviews here. I'm posting specifically about Morgan, whom I have followed from other salons. She is friendly, precise, and always is careful with my pedicures and manicures. The salon is clean, the nail tools are sanitized and I am always offered a beverage.
