I went here to get some old acrylics taken off. When I got there, I was told the wait would be an hour. Granted, it was the day before Valentine's, so I understood. The lady at the front desk told me I'd be good to come back in an hour. So, I did. When I came back, it turns out I wasn't even put on the books, but the other lady at the front desk recognized me so I thought we were all good. I was sat down where I waited about 15 minutes. It made sense, since it looked like every tech was busy with a client, but I was somewhat treated like I had an appointment so I was a bit confused as to why I was even told to come back in an hour if no one would be available to serve me. Eventually, the young lady at the front desk actually jumped in and started the process of removing my old acrylics. I'm not even sure if she's trained for that, but I feel bad that she was doing something that was probably not in her job description. After she worked a little on my nails, a nail tech ended up finishing the job for her. Unfortunately, the job done was pretty poor. My fingers and nails had turned white from soaking in acetone for so long, and I could tell that the nail tech left behind acrylic polymer on my nails (which I literally just peeled off myself). My nails were also cut and left with sharp edges that I had to fix myself. Not to be cheap, but the end result was definitely not worth $15. Luckily, I only went here to make my nails go back to looking grubby, and not to have them done for a special occasion. I slightly fear what the outcome would've been had they actually done my nails. ,I went in today and got an Express pedicure as the lady is removing my acrylic, I see I have a fungal infection on my big toe! I am 100% sure it came from getting my nails/toes done here because they do not use clean tools after every customer. I have never had any problem with my toes or a fungal infection ever. They're using dirty tools to do nails and now I have a fungal infection extremely disappointed and extremely disgusted. They don't even have the courtesy to disinfect their tools correctly. They are overpriced. I'm giving them two stars because at least they have good customer service speaking wise. But they will overpriced you beyond reasoning. read more

I've been to Luxx Nail Bar three times. These visits were the first times in life EVER that I'd ever had a pedicure or worn nail polish, so I came in with very little experience or knowledge of nail terminology or what to expect. My first visit went reasonably well. I felt a bit awkward because I didn't know the terminology and wasn't sure how things worked, but I pushed through and overall felt good about the service I received. During my second visit, I wasn't happy with the polish color I chose. I did ask for help, but I was only given a color card to choose from. The color looked nice on the sample card but ended up being completely wrong for me once applied. I felt embarrassed asking for a change, so I didn't speak up. Aside from the color, I was otherwise satisfied with the service. Unfortunately, my third visit was a very poor experience. The technician used a metal foot file ("cheese grater") on my feet even though they are already soft and free of calluses. This caused deep cuts on the sides of both my feet, leaving me with painful sores that lasted for weeks. This was completely unnecessary and very upsetting. Additionally, I again asked for help choosing a polish color because I wanted a classic Christmas red. Once again, I was only given a color card. The technician did not allow me to preview the color before painting multiple nails, and the result was a very dark shade that was nearly black. The nails were also left longer than I wanted. Overall, I left that appointment extremely unhappy. Between the incorrect color, lack of guidance, nails not being shaped to my preference, and the physical injury to my feet, this experience has made me hesitant to return. I hope the salon considers being more attentive--especially with clients who are new to nail services--and avoids using aggressive tools when they aren't needed. read more

Overall the service was just ok. My nails polish started creasing right after I left the building. (It was completely dry) Also, the person doing my nails spilled nail polish all over my clothes, shoes, items, and body and I wasn't offered any sort of discount. Definitely wont be back here again. The people working the front desk are nice but definitely not worth coming back. read more

I got an express pedi with plain white nails and wanted to add chrome. $15 additional charge for chrome and no one says anything to me UNTIL I ASK why it's $65 instead of $50. I completely understand a $5 up-charge for chrome ($15 is absolutely wild) but not saying anything made me upset and I won't be coming back simply bc of that. The nails look good tho but maybe say something next time so I can decide if I want it or not without being surprised. read more

I've been to many nail salons in my day and this is one of the cleanest, most professional ones I've ever seen. Even without an appointment service was fast, efficient and the massage with the pedicure was top notch. Even for a busy Saturday morning they have a seamless system set up. Such a great gem in Manor. 10/10 recommend and this is for sure my new spot for nails read more

Nail tech told me I had "skin growing over cuticle" and used the electric nail file on my cuticle of my big toe. Literally never had anyone do that and had a pedicure about 3 weeks prior, so it was very unnecessary. She cut my cuticle while doing so, and the tool used was for sure dirty because now it's really infected. 0/10 so bummed but this place is not clean. read more

Their system went down while I was getting my pedicure. When I went to pay, I was told I had to pay with cash or Venmo because cards wouldn't work. I don't carry cash & I don't have Venmo. I was told that I had 2 options: 1. Let them take a picture of my credit card and they promise they would delete it after they used it. Um... that's a no. 2. Leave my phone and ID with them while I drive to an ATM to get cash. Also, no. After 10 minutes of being treated like I was a criminal because their system wouldn't take a credit card, I told them I was going to make a phone call. She tried to prevent me from going outside onto the sidewalk to make a phone call and told me I had to stay in the store. Again, treating me like I stole something. I finally had to tell them I would be happy to call the police to help take care of the matter. They finally agreed to let me leave without leaving any belongings of mine to go to the ATM and come back. So much for a relaxing pedicure after work! I will not be back. read more

Dropped my daughter off for mani pedi an hour ago literally. Came to pick her up she has been sitting at the mani station for 20 minutes with no one attending to her. As soon as I go to the front desk a nail tech wants to rush over to her and start before I can say cancel it. Horrible experience and we will never return. Inside the seating is super cramped. They stuffed all those chairs in there where people have to breathe on top of each other then you don't even have enough technicians to give timely quality service. Don't waste your money here. I would look elsewhere. read more
