I've been going to envy for 7+ years and for some reason I asked for a poly gel removal and now I can no longer wash my hands in hot water because they file down my nail beds. I do not recommend going to them for any type of removals. Their consistency is flawed. I also asked for a cleanup with my eyebrows and they were thinned I only recommend going to ' Wendy 'for every single service.

I brought in a picture I found and Wendy didn't disappoint.

Wendy always does a great job. I've never had a bad experience coming here. I always get my nails done, the ultimate pedicure and eyebrow wax.

In my opinion, this is the best nail shop in Manor. It's not perfect but the service is really good and reasonably priced. Also does a Great eyebrow wax. When they cut my cuticles, I do get snipped each time so I need to remember for them not to do that part.

Unsanitary nail and pedicure tech ladies that do NOT clean there supplies or towels I reported them to health department TDLR for deep investigation because I received a HOT TUBE spa infection after a pedicure my son and I received ...this place need to be SHUT DOWN I REPEAT SHUT DOWN and I will remember the old lady if she ever works for a nail shop in Austin or Manor and report her there she was not clean and did not use new cleaned supplies or customer the spa food tubs looked dirty and disgusting when the blue plastic they had on was removed. Run from this place if your ever in Manor Tx I would rate 0 if there was a option for it

Wendie always does a fantastic job with my nails. I bring in examples of what I want and she is always able to deliver. I can't complain about any of their services. I typically get a pedicure, my nails and eyebrows done every couple of weeks. read more

I came in from out of town to get one nail fixed and a refill. I wasn't greeted but stared at intensively. I figured since I was fling a wall-in there would a wait. When I was asked if I'd been there before and answered no, the time in one of the workers voice dropped and then I was told it would be a 30 min wait. Two people came in while I was sitting and waiting (no appointment made) and a gentleman was told it would be a 5 min wait for a pedicure (after asking if he needed to come back later) and he immediately was directed to a chair. I could tell the other two were regulars by how they were greeted. After seeing this I remained patient but grew flustered seeing technicians finish and run to them just because they were spending more money. I sat for about an hour I acknowledged even when there were 3 technicians free. I would not recommend this establishment to out-of-towners. read more

I went in for a basic men's manicure and left extremely disappointed. My nails were left uneven, not smooth, and I even had a few spots that were bleeding. Overall, my hands looked worse than when I walked in. Definitely not worth the $20, and I won't be returning. read more

I have been going to Envy Nails for 3 years and they are always welcoming when you walk thru the door. Leanh is very good at her job and she does amazing pedicures which I routinely get. When I ask her about suggestions for my foot care she offers some great ideas which have helped. Her manicures are also very good as well as brow waxing. The shop is very warm and the massage chairs work great. So convenient if you live in Manor. read more

In my opinion, this is the best nail shop in Manor. It's not perfect but the service is really good and reasonably priced. Also does a Great eyebrow wax. When they cut my cuticles, I do get snipped each time so I need to remember for them not to do that part. read more

I went there and the service wasn't great, I wanted to get a pedicure for me and my kiddos the way the lady spoke to me made me not want her to provide service to me. She seamed angry so why would I want her to do my pedicure, the other lady told me she would get to me in a minute, so then she tried to get me to have the other lady that I did not want to do my pedicure to provide the service I told her I'll wait for her (Amy) she seems like she didn't want to do my pedicure (Amy) is her name. After seeing others come in and their child was provided services after I mentioned my kids wanted pedicures, I decided to take my business elsewhere, I will not spend my money where there's going to be shitty services. After going to the other nail shop the customer service was great, my kids were offered something to drink unlike Envy nails they offered other kids that came after us something to drink. My kids felt the difference in the way they were being treated vs where we went with excellent service. This not the first time I've been treated like this at Envy nails so I decided not to go back as often, today I tried to give them another chance, big mistake I'm completely done going to this place. Envy nails is always clean and everyone has great hospitality. I have going there for about 1 year and I only go to Wendy. She is the 1st person to the right when you walk in. She is absolutely the most genuine person I have ever met and she has aced every nail designed I have wanted. She shapes and defines my nails to the t. For over a year, have been taking my mom (she's in her nineties) here every couple weeks and have been very pleased. She gets her nail color changed and enjoys the outing. Staff are friendly and helpful. Price is very reasonable. They even offer to assist her to get in and out. Frankly, some of these ladies deserve a medal for putting up with some of the customers. They are nail technicians not indentured servants. They always keep their cool so kudos to them. P. S. This place is open. Yelp saying it's closed is incorrect. read more

Ive been coming here for the past 2 years. And I have always had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately all it took was one horrible experience to not ever step foot in this establishment again. My daughter is having her first school dance Friday. I thought it would be a good idea to take her to get her pedi and mani since I was also was due to get mine done. We arrived shortly after 5pm. Everything seemed fine at first. My daughter was happy and excited. About 30mins in or so, on my pedicure, I was on my phone taking care of work emails when all of a sudden I felt a horrible pain of being cut. My foot instantly reacted and yanked itself out of her hand. She was quick to grab it back and I said "no,that hurts" as we both look at my foot it immediately started bleeding and she could not stop the blood from dripping out. This woman was using a crazy big foot grater on top of my toes!! She was very apologetic and was nice from beginning to the end but, its something that should have never happened. I told her "why did you use that up there?" "Are you supposed to use that tool on my toes?" I was keeping my cool. But confused why I was in pain and had a chunk of skin missing. My daughter didn't even notice and she was sitting right beside me getting hers done. I did not want to cause a scene so I just let it be. Pulled out some ointment from my purse and tried to mellow down the stinging and burning sensation I was having on my toe. Painfully finished out what we had came in for. Here's where it got worse. Hannah has always done my nails. She has always been nice to me. For some crazy reason she was not nice to me during this experience. She was doing a half job from the beginning, I felt as if she was rushed. I asked her very politely to fix two things and she was very offended. At one point she asked me "are you tired?" I said "No, I got off work today hoping for a great experience here and now my foot is in pain" she replied "accidents happen" she continued to do my nails with a bad attitude, and I could just not wait to leave. My daughters technician was amazing made it fun for her from the start and made sure I was involved in all the decision making for my daughters first nail set. I made sure she was tipped generously. However, I wasnt 100% satisfied with Hannahs customer service during my experience but I work off tips myself so I know how significant tips are, I decided to give her $15 then she tells me "what about the other girl" I said "my daughter already tipped her lady" she said "no the lady for your toes" I said "i wasn't happy with my results with her" Hannah replies "it was accident, accidents happen" at this point she was begging me to tip the lady who caused me to be in the pain I was in. In the company of my daughter I did not want any negative backlash so I gave Hannah an additional $5 I had and she still wanted more!! That's it. This was all it took. But I felt the need to share this experience , because this place doesn't deserve anyone's money. read more

I went here just for fun alone, I don't know my lady's name but she was really sweet and didn't push anything extra on me, it was $45 for a basic acrylic set with gel. I love the way my nails came out, and my lady only took about an hour. 10/10 definitely coming again!! read more

Waste of a place. The manicures are not good. The one time I go in for at least a quick pedicure, I wait after signing in, only to watch a woman that just walked in With no appointment get helped before me just because she had been there before. I'm just waiting on the new nail spot in Manor to open up because this one is always underwhelming..... not to mention the ROACH ON THE FLOOR that came too close to my flip flops . As soon as you walk in you can already see that they are organized, clean and efficient! Being from Houston where we have big fancy salons I was taken back a bit by this salon in Manor, Texas! Then I'm greeted by Kim and offered wine! Yes, Please! I definitely felt comfortable quickly. I'm typically very skeptical and a bit on the difficult side because I'm very particular when it comes to my nails. Sometimes you just desperately need your nails done and you take one for the team! I'm so glad I did! I usually have to interrupt a few times in other salons. I was really impressed! Kim and I had great discussion. Church being one, and whether or not to open on Sunday's... I hope she follows her heart who is with God and dedicating her Sunday to him.... the success will follow! read more

Would not recommend this place, I went in on a Friday at 3 for a pedicure, they were a bit busy so I had no problem waiting for the next available tech. The person at the front desk asked me to sit in a spa seat and someone would be with me. I sat for 30 mins and started noticing other costumers coming in and getting serviced right away. Finally got my shoes back on and walked out after waiting 35 mins. read more

Very clean and nice staff! I got powder SNS done which took a while but worth the wait. There was a lady next to me waiting to get her nails done too and was angry that people were getting seated before her. Some services can only be performed by some of the nail techs so someone getting a pedicure might get seated before you. Please be kind and patient with the staff! read more

Eventually, the young lady at the front desk actually jumped in and started the process of removing my old acrylics. I'm not even sure if she's trained for that, but I feel bad that she was doing something that was probably not in her job description. After she worked a little on my nails, a nail tech ended up finishing the job for her. Unfortunately, the job done was pretty poor. My fingers and nails had turned white from soaking in acetone for so long, and I could tell that the nail tech left behind acrylic polymer on my nails (which I literally just peeled off myself). My nails were also cut and left with sharp edges that I had to fix myself. Not to be cheap, but the end result was definitely not worth $15. Luckily, I only went here to make my nails go back to looking grubby, and not to have them done for a special occasion. I slightly fear what the outcome would've been had they actually done my nails. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back.

My first visit went reasonably well. I felt a bit awkward because I didn't know the terminology and wasn't sure how things worked, but I pushed through and overall felt good about the service I received. During my second visit, I wasn't happy with the polish color I chose. I did ask for help, but I was only given a color card to choose from. The color looked nice on the sample card but ended up being completely wrong for me once applied. I felt embarrassed asking for a change, so I didn't speak up. Aside from the color, I was otherwise satisfied with the service. Unfortunately, my third visit was a very poor experience. The technician used a metal foot file ("cheese grater") on my feet even though they are already soft and free of calluses. This caused deep cuts on the sides of both my feet, leaving me with painful sores that lasted for weeks. This was completely unnecessary and very upsetting. Additionally, I again asked for help choosing a polish color because I wanted a classic Christmas red. Once again, I was only given a color card. The technician did not allow me to preview the color before painting multiple nails, and the result was a very dark shade that was nearly black. The nails were also left longer than I wanted. Overall, I left that appointment extremely unhappy. Between the incorrect color, lack of guidance, nails not being shaped to my preference, and the physical injury to my feet, this experience has made me hesitant to return. I hope the salon considers being more attentive--especially with clients who are new to nail services--and avoids using aggressive tools when they aren't needed.

If you're nervous l, highly recommend taking a Tylenol beforehand. They sell natural skincare products in-house, and I purchased their serum created by Ritual Union (ritual_Union on IG) to use and help with ingrowns and moisturizing. It's full of great ingredients and I'm excited to be using it. If you're into skincare/body care, Lucianne recommended to check out Earth Commons on Springdale Road. They also do events, sell tea blends, and offer holistic services. Absolutely loved my experience and I think this has converted me from using hard wax to sugaring. I noticed the check in sign so I checked in on the IPad and sat down. After a few minutes, one of the employees asked me if I checked in. I responded that I had, and that I had an appointment for a lamination and tint. She said okay. They asked me to have a seat in the chair. I asked the employee if I could get eyebrows shaped by waxing instead of threading. She said it was fine. She then said "I'm going to wax first and then do the lamination". I thought that was weird because every other time I've had a lamination, the solution goes on first and the shaping is usually after. She proceeds to put the lamination solution on and brushing the brow hairs. I have no issues with the process at this point but it's the opposite of what she said she was going to do. To clarify, my eyebrows are lightened with bleach to be a brownish color, so I asked for brown tint not black. The employee didn't seem to understand my request.. She ends up showing me the color she's going to use and says it "medium brown". I said okay with confidence and felt better about the situation. my brows are soft black, dark and don't match my hair. The shape is very nice I will say I enjoy the shaping. The process was painless and took right under an hour. Had they used the right color tint I would be so much happier. Hope this review helps someone out.

The customer service was something I've been searching for! Well day 2 of my beautiful nails and one got ripped off ( not their fault at all). Today I came to get it fixed. After giving it some thought, I do believe I clearly communicated what I wanted, and I ultimately feel that I may have been overcharged. To start with the positives, I called ahead to see if they had availability for a walk-in. They told me it would be about 30 minutes, but I was welcome to come early and sit in one of the massage chairs while I waited. I appreciated that and did exactly that. It was relaxing to sit in the chair while they finished with other clients. Once they were ready, my pedicure began. I originally selected a lower-tier service, but the technician explained the Detox Pedicure very well and suggested upgrading. I agreed, and overall the pedicure experience itself was pleasant. While the pedicure was being done, another technician started on my hands with the manicure, but when another walk-in client arrived, that technician left to start a pedicure for the new client. The technician finishing my pedicure then move to her station and continued with my manicure and applied the clear dip. It was a seamless transition and excellent team work. I will say that I did like the quality of her work on my manicure and the dip. However, I did notice something with my pedicure. I had asked for clear polish on my toenails, and while it was drying it looked like some white dust had settled on the polish. I was trying to figure out how to mention it, but when the technician later applied oil to my toenails, the white appearance seemed to disappear and the nails looked glossy, so I assumed it had just needed to be brushed off. When I took a shower later that day my nails looked like I originally saw with a white dusty and matte look to it with some spot shiny. When I went to the register, I was surprised that the total was $130 before tip. I had calculated the $55 Detox Pedicure plus the $45 dip manicure, which I thought would be around $100. I assumed I may have miscalculated and didn't question it at the time, so I paid and left a 20% tip ($26) for a total of $156. When I got to my car and reviewed the receipt, I noticed there was an additional $10 charge listed for a "Cuticle Trim", along with a $20 "Additional Charge". $30 extra on to the bill. At most salons I've been to, the price of a dip manicure already includes the basic manicure prep such as cuticle trimming and nail shaping before the dip is applied. I get my nails done fairly regularly, and this is the first time I've ever been charged a separate and unclear $10 cuticle trim and $20 additional charge fee on top of the dip manicure price. The menu did not clearly indicate this additional charge, and it was never communicated to me beforehand. While I did enjoy the service quality of the manicure and the overall pedicure experience, I was not happy with the final finish of my toenails and was especially disappointed by the lack of transparency in pricing. This experience left me feeling unsettled. Clear communication about pricing, especially additional fees, is important so clients can make informed decisions before services are performed. Unfortunately, I don't feel that happened here. For that I don't plan on returning.

There was no attempt to resolve the issue, explain the price changes, or provide adequate service. The work itself was mediocre at best -- you can get better quality for a lower price at the nicer salons literally one mall down. Avoid this place at all costs -- poor technique, inconsistent pricing, zero communication, and the worst customer service I've experienced at any nail salon.

I chose the Deluxe which included paraffin wax which was awesome. I think I have found my new place and will be back!
