This is the fourth cleaner I've hired to clean my house. I usually only hire for deep-cleaning jobs. I contacted this cleaning service via Yelp and specifically requested that the house be disinfected (2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen) because a lot of our family members were sick, and we kept getting each other sick. I told him the owner Alexsandra that we wanted to make sure the house was very clean of germs. She sent Simone, who was very thorough at first. She did the bathroom first and did a great job. Then she did the bedrooms and then the living room and kitchen. However, I didn't see her disinfecting anything (other than the bathroom which smelt like bleach). She couldn't speak English unfortunately, so I couldn't instruct her what to do. Toward the end of her job, it seemed like she was rushing. She even looked a little bit grumpy and impatient toward the end, which I can understand because she was on her own for the entire cleaning. She left with a smile though. But I was a little disappointed. The kitchen wasn't as clean as I would have liked. She did an ok job - she cleaned the counters and cabinets, took out the trash, etc. Overall, it looked clean, but when I looked closely, it wasn't the cleanest of jobs. I liked how she did the bathroom, but I have a concern with housecleaners going from dirty to clean (e.g., bathroom to bedroom to kitchen!) when they clean the house. She also had shoes on, which we don't like in the house. Overall, she did an ok job but didn't meet my expectations as far as my request/need for disinfecting. I think they do not know the difference between cleaning and disinfecting. I disinfected surfaces, including door knobs, light switches, all the kids' toys, etc., the rest of the day. I could have just done the job myself. :( read more

Sandra & Alex have done our regular house cleaning for about a year now and they both do an amazing job! I called Luz cleaning ( based on a recommendation), so i called them for deep cleaning of our house about 1 month ago. We had explicitly asked them to clean cabinets, applicatces among other things. In the kitchen, a lot of areas were left uncleaned. Microwave was left dirty from inside, kitchen cabinets were mostly dirty. Overall, cleanliness was not at all close to our expectations. Had to clean it myself later on. Most of the places left unclean were actually easily reachable and not hard to clean. read more

Improvements needed: -Be on time (was 30 mins late) -if quoting for 2 workers, both should be there (2nd person came an hr later and stayed only for an hr. They were suppose to be at my place for total of 2.5 hrs). -Use better equipment. Feather duster doesn't quite capture the dust. Neither does a vacuum with no hose attachments or rotating brush for deep cleaning. Overall job was fine. My place being small and uncluttered, I overpaid at $120 for their services. read more
