I first hired Miguel 6 or so years ago to clean my house. He does a phenomenal job. He cleans my house every two weeks and my life/ house would be a disaster without his service. He ALWAYS goes above and beyond making sure the house is perfect. As anyone knows who has a cleaning service, you try to clean up before they arrive for two reasons.... One, it isn't their job really to wash dishes, do laundry or sort all the crap that may be laying around your house... and two, you don't want people to see that you are truly a slob from time to time! Well, there has been ALOT of times when I completely forgot to pick up before they arrive and my house was a disaster. They always clean it spotless. Over the years I have left out valuables, cash and other things that you would normally want to secure.... Well you don't have to worry with Miguel. Never anything missing and everything in its place. Over the years Miguel's service has expanded and I have hired him to do daily cleaning in a 8000+ square feet commercial building I manage in Redwood City. Here Miguel and his staff clean on a daily basis a commercial kitchen/ bar area, clean carpets, wax floors along with other regular janitorial things. Our building has numerous tenants and we have never had a complaint about his service. I have family that use Miguel as well, all very happy with his service. He will also go out of his way for his clients. I remember one time in particular, we had a death in the family and I asked him to come, last minute, on a day he wasn't scheduled. He came through and allowed us to focus on family knowing our house would be ready for guests. In a recent talk with Miguel, he said he is getting very busy and will soon have to turn away business or hire new employees. I know he won't hire just anyone and vets his new employees well before he is comfortable with them. I feel very fortunate to be worked into his schedule and look forward to coming home after he has been to my house.. Seamless from beginning to end with Yelp messaging, onsite visit to provide a quote, ease of scheduling (even with their busy schedules), on time, professional, spend extra hours when needed to make sure nothing is missed, and even cleaned areas we couldn't get past cleaners to cover. E.G.: pink water marks in the shower, tissue box cardboard stuck on the top of the toilet, and cleaning decorative items/photos on shelves. They even charged us half the price of our past cleaners for what would be considered a move out cleaning. Wow! I have had an outstanding experience with Miguel. First: the quote. I collected many quotes from other companies, and a few of them gave me the feeling they were deciding how much they could get away with charging me, rather than how much the job would cost. Miguel was a breath of fresh air. I felt like he was very honest and direct, and quoted based on the job, not on how expensive my furniture looked (for the record, it isn't, it just looks it :). He was punctual, professional, and polite, and gave me the feeling I would have no worries giving him a key to my home. I hired him on the spot. Scheduling is extremely easy (we just text), and he was even able to work us in the next day due to a cancellation. He's done two cleanings for us so far, and I keep noticing little things that are above and beyond, in addition to all the obvious stuff being done beautifully. Examples: my toothbrush charger is sparkling clean. My partner's disaster of a desk wasn't rearranged, just thoughtfully straightened up and cleaned so it looks way less cluttered. The top of our stove hood was cleaned (I can't even see up there, a tall visitor remarked on it). The stuff in the fridge is cleverly organized. I think he even dusted the leaves on my plants! In short Miguel is WONDERFUL! He and his team have been cleaning for me for a year and half now (I think - give or take just a bit). I have two kids so I love that he uses natural things like baking soda and vinegar to get out the most ridiculous stains. I know my kids can eat off the floor (which they sometimes do) and it is safe. We travel quite a lot so when Miguel comes on a week when we are gone he looks for extra things to do. One trip he cleaned every single cupboard in my kitchen - he took everything out, vacuumed, and wiped down each and every cupboard. It was amazing. On another trip he did the same in the bathrooms. He also took the cover off a couch and washed it for me - which it really needed after 10 years on the couch! Miguel always goes the extra mile. He checks in regularly to see if there is anything he is missing, or if there is anything I want done differently. I'm sorry if I sound like I am going over the top. Miguel and his team have been our beloved cleaners since 2012. They do regular cleanings every 2 weeks and have also done move-in/out cleans for us. I've worked with various cleaners over the past decade or so and they are by far the best I've seen, in a totally different class. They are so thorough, go above and beyond, communicate well, provide recommendations for organic/natural cleaning products and are just lovely, warm people you'd like to have around your house. Miguel notices little things that need to be done around the house (broken door handle, shower door going off track, new toilet seats that have been sitting on the floor waiting to be installed for weeks, slow draining drains, writing our unit # on the trash bin to distinguish it from the neighbors', etc.) and offers to fix them, with a big smile. When we moved into our most recent apartment and EVERYTHING was EVERYWHERE, they rearranged furniture and boxes so that our place actually started to feel like it had some level of order, and I got a glimmer of hope and inspiration to tackle unpacking and settling in. When our baby started crawling, they recommended switching to vinegar to mop the floors. When we have open packages lying around, they take out the contents, put things where they belong and take the boxes down to recycling. They empty the hand vacuum, roomba, and shredder. They know where the clean sheets are. They put the bath mats in the washer when they notice it's time. They don't just clean your house, they tidy. Sometimes we can't wait for them to visit.
