The staff was super pleasant and informative. Got my eyebrow pierced and that went well and was wonderful. Got a small script tattoo on my wrist by Tim and that turned out great. But my friend got a larger tattoo on his chest, just black ink. The guy who did it filled in the black with a single needle and now the tattoo is scabbing up (yes he took proper care if it he has several other tattoos) and where the scabs have come off a ton of ink has come off so the tattoo is very patchy. Unfortunately we're from out of town so we can go get revisions done. read more

All the folks there at the shop were awesome, they sell a lot of flash tattoos which makes sense for their location, but they were able to draw us up some semi-custom tattoos that we were looking at getting. Prices are a bit high but understandable for the location. Kimmy did my work and was amazing, super soft hands and amazing attention to detail bonez did my wife's tattoo and the detail on the small dagger was amazing! Emo put a real nice Americana traditional dagger on my daughter's arm that came out amazing as well. All in all top notch artists. We come to Vegas at least once a year and this will definitely be our stop for new ink when we're there. read more

A group of four of us went in not exactly knowing what we all wanted. The day staff was amazing, super helpful, and did not make us feel stupid for not knowing what we were doing. At first we were thinking the prices were a bit high but compared to Strip prices, they are better. Plus, due to everything looking clean and sanitized, we felt comfortable getting tattoos there. Do not get tattooed by GLO FOXX. She will set up appointments with you, then bail last minute and she will still keep your deposit. Even if she is the one who doesn't show up. Twice. This place is overpriced and not interested in the customer's request. Me and my wife both got our first tattoos and put what we wanted on the paperwork. They got mixed up and wanted to give us both the same tattoos. When I pointed out their mistake and they got my paperwork to see my requests and then they charged me a change fee and the tattoo artist threw a fit that he had to make a new stencil. You are not professional at all, making a new stencil took less then 5 minutes but yet you wanted me to be inked with your mistake for the rest of my life. We came here an hour and a half before they closed, so I was extremely excited thinking that I'd be able to get a small finger tattoo. The "gentlemen" behind the counter were too preoccupied, talking amongst themselves to even look up or acknowledge us, so we had the unpleasant pleasure of dealing with the condescending juvenile chick with the box dyed hair. She told us that a small, quarter sized finger tattoo would be $150 USD and was quite unfriendly about it. My group and I tried to de-escalate the tension in the air by smiling and thinking of a new idea that may be more cost effective, but it was apparent that this tattoo shop just didn't want our business. We wished them well and the "lady" behind the counter didn't seem to recognize well wishes, as she patronized with a look of disgust on our way out. This place is trashy & super unwelcoming. If you like being treated like second class trash, and over priced subpar tattoos, I would say this is the place to go. read more

I wish I could give these people a zero stars. Oh my god, rudest tattoo artist/parlor I've ever experienced. Other customers were even flabbergasted at how rude they were to me. My mom and I were going to get, not matching, but relative tattoos together; hers said "You Are My Sunshine," while mine said, "My only sunshine..." I had one of their artists put a stencil on me so I could see it, but it was a rather small font so in the mirror I couldn't tell if it was legible because it was backwards. I asked a couple other customers in the shop, and all of them said to get it a couple fonts bigger. I took their advice and told the artist, and he acted very irritated, saying that he would have to make whole new stencils, telling me he thought it was fine and legible, and clearly just wanted to get the job done. He walked away leaving me feeling very uncomfortable at how rude he seemed about having to redo things on me, and that's when other customers chimed in how rude he was as well, and telling me to not let his attitude sway me into making a permanent decision on my body. I told the "manager" that he made me feel that way and asked for a different artist, and she defend him, which is fine because I understand standing up for your employees as I managed a business for five years and currently work in a customer service job, which is sometimes difficult. She said that she would have to charge us $50 more for a font or two bigger if I were to do it, raising my $275 price to $325, (which was already outrageous, but I tried to be understanding as they are on Freemont St and that's just the price you pay for a then-and-there tattoo). We said that maybe we would just cancel after the rude guy and the jack in price, but they said the money we paid, $550 in total, was non-refundable. It did say that on the paperwork we signed, but they didn't even tattoo us, so that seemed a little crazy after how we had been treated. I suggested maybe I'd just get a different font that was more legible, but my mom really wanted our fonts to match (for some reason hers was more legible despite being the same font size). The manager began calling us rude and saying we were disrespectful, and saying that four customers had walked out because she had to talk to us about our issues with the first artist, and a variety of other things. It just got more and more uncomfortable, and when we tried to just pay the extra $50 to get mine in the same font as my moms but bigger, because we were already told they wouldn't refund our money, she took our card for a minute and then finally said, "I refunded your money," and that was that. We got out of there as quick as we could. I partially feel bad as I'm sure some of the artists are great and don't deserve to be dragged down by the couple horrible people we dealt with, but I highly suggest you don't risk it and skip this place altogether. read more

We came in last night to get tattoos. My husband and I had gone down to the shop in Neonopolis first and were super disappointed by the customer service and pricing. The artist seemed like he was annoyed that we came in so we ended up finding LV tattoo and were SO HAPPY that as soon as we walked in the two girls at the register were super friendly and welcoming. This was my first tattoo so I wanted to feel welcomed and supported. We were both just so pleased with our artists and the final piece of our tattoo. The man who tatted me was so cool and considering I got my tattoo on my chest area it didn't hurt too bad. I do not recommend LV tattoos for piercings. There is not a wide selection of jewelry. The piercer seemed nervous to do a triple helix which is not uncommon. They were very kind but I worry they are amateurs. The location is certainly tempting but it seems to be more of a hang out place than a serious piercing studio. I recommend looking at other places. I was told that a Piercing was closed when I could easily slide my own jewelry through it. It was just strange and confusing. I left. Don't do it. read more

Came into this shop hoping to get a tattoo that my very recently deceased mother got 20 years ago. It was a simple vine across my inner forearm. They wanted a minimum $900 and more if I wanted color. All the artists were sitting behind the counter on their phones and nobody seemed to have any interest in actually creating my art. I was hoping for someone that would take care in my story and draw an accurate depiction of what I wanted (since I admitted that I have no artistic capability) but all they wanted was my money. I found an artist back in my hometown that was more than happy to draw out concept art and for 1/4 of the price. Don't go here unless your drunk or desperate. They don't care about art or what you actually want. They just want to make a profit. read more

Worst tattoo ever! $275 for my 6" arrow that included my semi colon for my mental health problems if the past. It represents a lot for me. I've talked about getting this done for years. The blue didn't stay, and the black was grey, and no shadowing stayed. I never picked at it and took care of it properly. My wrist area almost immediately started swelling and became infected. This isnt my first tattoo, so I know how to care for them. I now have to pay more In the future to fix it. read more

Got my nipples pierced for my birthday, LOVED them initially. Now that they are healing and not swollen my left nipple is pierced incorrectly and was not pierced through the nipple but was pierced at an angle. At this point I'll probably have to take it out, let it heal and then pay to have it re-pierced because it will tear my nipple completely if I leave it as it is. I paid around $700 for this tattoo, with the price I honestly expected it to be awesome, so i didn't mind, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE research a shop before you get a tattoo done at it, cause honestly it's a huge mistake on my part, it's not terrible, but the line work is absolutely horrid it's blown out in a lot of places & very very shakey, an old white dude did my tattoo & I show it to a ton of tattoo artists in my area & they're literally disgusted he put this on me & charged me 700 dollars, I expected it to be a lot but when someone is putting work on you and charging that much youd expect them to know what the fuck they're doing, my moms tattoo came out awesome on the other hand & I paid about the same for hers, the guy that did hers talked about fucking her for about 3 hours straight while he was doing her tattoo, the experience was horrible and I haven't gotten a tattoo since because I just felt robbed & for me to go in & pay almost 2 grand for tattoos & to walk out feeling so shitty is pretty ridiculous, every time I pass this place my friends wanna get tattoos here & I always tell them avoid it at all costs!!!!!!! I was at the Fremont Experience enjoying the free entertainment and people watching and I saw a tattoo sign about halfway in. I went upstairs past a bunch of flash art on the wall to check out the shop. The shop looked clean but that was all I could say was positive. After you walk in, there is a table of books with flash drawings inside. There were no real artists portfolios, just books of flash drawings and an iPad to look up tattoos. Um, I would like to see the artists "real work" and not a bunch of pictures copied off google. Workers at shop weren't the friendliest and i wasn't getting any good vibes from this place. After being familiar with tattoos for a few years now, it's Super Important to look up the tattoo artists work to see if it's good or not. Ever go on instagram and see tattoo nightmares? You should. Never go to a shop where someone tells you to search up an image on their iPad because that is sketchy as heck. Ask to see their artists' real work and if there is no portfolio, run away fast! So when I was planning my trip to Vegas, I knew one of the things I wanted to do was to get some new ink, just to say that I've done so (I don't get to Vegas very often haha). I stay loyal to my guys here locally in town, but I did some research on Yelp and LV Tattoo was one of the top rated places based on customer reviews so I wanted to check to check the shop out. I made it a point to wait until my last day in Vegas so I didn't have to worry about covering a new tattoo up from the sun, or not being able to swim during my vacation. While walking the strip, there were various shops spread about, but when we got to talking about price, I was quoted anywhere between $600-$1,200 for a band of the continents (picture a globe) around my upper arm, no colors, no shading, just black outlines. That's a no go for me, because I wasn't going to blow my entire vacation budget on a tattoo, plus the people in the strip shops weren't very personable, and it was no surprise that no one was sitting in the chairs getting work done whenever I walked in. So my last night, we went downtown to Fremont street and I could see LV Tattoo's shop, upstairs near the stage at the end of the street. We go in (it's around 11pm) and were greeted by three super cool people who were laughing and having a great time - much more welcoming than any shop I saw on the strip. I asked to look at some of the portfolios, which were mostly digital on iPads, but this becoming the norm these days. I had already decided to down scope my tattoo from the continents to simply the state of California and a small red star over my hometown and was quoted $240 - a little more than what I would pay here BUT far more reasonable than any other shop I went into in Vegas, plus I felt super comfortable with all of the staff immediately and knew this was the place for me. Overall it took less than an hour from planning to stencil to a work of art and I could tell the woman who did my work was passionate about what she did (I really wish I could remember her name, but I did have a few beers earlier in the evening). The conversations were also great as well. I know that on my next trip to Vegas, this will be the place I'll come for my next 'vacation tattoo' and thanks for accepting walk-in's so late at night! read more

This shop seemed like it had solid artists so I inquired about getting a small black and grey tattoo with them. I was told that the simple palm sized tattoo I was wanting would start around $900. Thinking this was a mistake I clarified that this was something that would take at most 3 hours to do and was told that their tattoos are priced on the piece not on the time it takes to do them. This is price gouging and after more research I found a shop with artists of the same caliber that did my tattoo for $300. They too were shocked by the quote. Worst place ever! The real rating is -100 due to the worst customer service I have ever experienced, rude attitudes, lying to us and waiting 2 hours after my booked appointment. Below are the Cliff Notes of my visit. Had an appointment at 12:00 noon for a tattoo for two people (my sister and me) by the same artist that I chose when I made my appointment about three weeks prior. No one arrived to unlock and open the shop until 12:15pm. Never got introduced to my artist. Asked three times by three different people (didn't know who they where because no one introduced themselves) about my design even though I had emailed my design and provided description, size and desired colors twice via email. I could understand wanting a clarification from the artist; but none these three girls identified themselves as my artist. By 1:00pm, I asked why it was taking so long. I was told that there was a delay because there was an error with my paperwork and they needed to resolve it. I hadn't filled out any paperwork. They lied to me. The girl who told me this had an extremely condescending attitude, was very dismissive and rude. By 1:30pm we were asked for our IDs, my sister did not have here. Her ID arrived about 8 minutes later. I wasn't ever asked for mine - I told them I had it and wanted to start mine. I was told the artist (still haven't been introduced to her) was setting up and would be with us shortly. WHHHAAATT??? Anyway, both of our forms and IDs are now submitted and we're still waiting on them. I have now paid in full. Which is a very strange practice because none of my other 5 tattoos needed to be paid in advance. About 15 minutes later, an office girl came up to, who was apparently our artist and another nearby artist and informed them "I'm going to split them between you so they can get done sooner" - um NO!!!! That is NOT what I signed up for and I was not asked if I was ok with that! I wasn't even being spoken to! As I told the girl that I didn't want that and I didn't appreciate not being asked....she just turned and walked away - while I was speaking to her! By nearly 2:00pm - 2 hours after my appointment - That was the last straw! I demanded a refund. After them trying to tell me I couldn't be refunded, I reminded them sternly that services were not rendered and therefore the contract was moot; the owner was called. Apparently "it was my lucky day and the owner 'saw my point of view' so I could get a refund". I was refunded with sarcastic, passive-aggressive politeness. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. No wonder there was no one getting tats done there. LV Tattoo was out $650 and the artist was out $180 tip because of the people in the office. Them loosing my business won't affect them, but I give you my warning, by experience, to take your business elsewhere. We left and went to Rockstar Tattoo (by Denny's). We were treated very well, attended to quickly and with great customer service and respect. We got our tattoos there. They were less money and we were both out in 45 minutes. The tattoo came out absolutely prefect and exactly like my design. He got the full tip. read more

Wow! We were recommended to go here from Victoria after riding on Slotzilla. When we went upstairs, the space was open and clean with lots of artwork framed everywhere. We were able to use the iPad to help us figure out what the best don't was for our tattoos. The receptionist was helpful in helping us print out multiple sizes to best fit what we wanted. Mark, Ryan, and Bill were available to tattoo the three of us and it was such a smooth process. Lines were clean. Conversation was great. read more
