I took her advice and tried out the prescription for a few days. They had already processed my order under the new prescription, I came back and told the doctor that it was giving me headaches and wasn't working, she then made an excuse saying oh that was your old prescription. I asked why she was telling me to try my old prescription with these contacts she gave me. I took the contacts that they gave me open them and after two sets neither of them right eye or left eye fit correctly. I reached out and told them I would be going to a different optometrist, but that I wanted to return my contacts. They told me because I opened the boxes that they gave me that were incorrect. They could only return the unopened boxes, but that they could exchange them with Cooper vision but we're still going to be unable to provide me a return their representative. Vanessa was extremely argumentative on the phone and told me that they stand behind their customers but that because I wanted to go somewhere else, there was nothing they could do for me. Told them I'd never come back and I'm going to dispute their charges to VSP and to my credit card. Her excuse was they would take a loss on their error so there was nothing they could do for me. Plenty of better options in the area! Update, went to a lens crafters and got a different prescription with a different axis and cylinder and no headaches or issues.

The expenses for contact lenses, disinfecting solution, moistening drops, and annual eye exams kept adding up year after year. It was time I get LASIK while I'm still young because it maximizes years of contacts-free living and saves money over time. I did extensive research on LASIK providers and chose Dr. Feinerman for four reasons: 1) He did successful ICL surgery for my wife and she's had 20/20 vision ever since 2) He takes care of you from A to Z: He personally does all consultations, eye surgeries, and follow-up visits 3) He has over 20 years of experience and was a Chair of Ophthalmology at Hoag 4) He has many known celebrity/influencer clients (one of them Kobe, RIP). At my consultation, his assistants did diagnostic tests on my eyes to determine my candidacy. Dr. Feinerman said I qualified for Wavelight Plus LASIK (as opposed to traditional). The difference is that Wavelight Plus has higher rates of achieving 20/20 vision or better, and improved night vision. Not everyone can qualify for this so I chose this one. On the day of my surgery, it was done at his vision center and took less than an hour. I chose classical music to play in the background. My eyes were disinfected and numbed with solution. I laid on the operating table as Dr. Feinerman did the procedure and talked with me every step of the way. It didn't hurt at all and I was surprised it was quick ~15 mins. The moment it was done, I could see clearly as if I was wearing contact lenses. I was given a home care kit to take home and follow the schedule of eye drops to ensure my eyes recover. The next day I came in for a follow-up, did some vision tests, and Dr. Feinerman said I now have 20/20 vision. That was less than 24 hours from surgery so I can only hope for even better than 20/20 soon. For those those of you who are tired of wearing glasses and contacts, I highly suggest you invest in yourself and get LASIK. If you qualify, stop by Dr. Feinerman's office and I promise you won't regret it. I'm glad I did!

I went in on 3/2/26 prepared to invest in a full new setup including Kate Spade frames with progressive transition lenses, but I walked away 400 dollars out of pocket with glasses that are completely unusable. My primary need is seeing my computer screen, but when I sit down everything is blurry. Instead of addressing the lens issue, the staff tried to "rig" the frames by adding double nose pads and bending the ear pieces so tightly they dug into my head to force the glasses higher. When I returned after my first pair was finished on 3/16, a different staff member admitted the lenses were made incorrectly, yet they repeatedly mentioned a one-time fee for the correction as if the error was my fault. Between the initial fitting and the follow-ups, I spoke directly with four different staff members on the sales and fitting side. I received a second set of lenses on 3/25, but they were just as blurry. Trying to find the "sweet spot" in the prescription caused so much eye strain that I was in tears by 10 AM the next day. When I finally asked for a refund, they refused and even told my insurance company no. I am now out 400 dollars, I still do not have functional glasses, and I was never even given a copy of my prescription. I have officially filed a formal complaint with the California State Board of Optometry regarding the refusal to refund for a non-functional medical device. I am also reporting the office for violating the FTC Eyeglass Rule, as I was never provided a copy of my prescription after my exam. While the energy in the office is positive, the policies regarding defective products and the lack of empathy for inaccurate results is unsettling. If your prescription doesn't work out the first time, be prepared for a very difficult and expensive struggle.

So glad I found this office! Dr. Quyen La and her staff are professional and provide excellent service. I have been behind on exams, yet Dr. La was very patient and took extra time to go through results and answer all my questions. She introduced me to one-a-day contacts and my eyes feel better and life has become so much easier! She recently hosted an open house to showcase her remodeled office and new logo. The event was fantastic with great food and prizes. Her remodeled office is modern, bright and welcoming which sets the standard for her staff & practice. After a less than happy experience with another local optometrist, I went to LVCO and my faith was restored !!, Dr. Quyen is super knowledgeable and did a great job, the eye test was thorough but didn't take too long. Her staff were extremely friendly and helped me select a really nice set of Oakley frames as my regular glasses and some super nice Oliver Peoples Aviators, which they turned into Prescription Sunglasses for me. Both sets of glasses arrived quickly from the lab, which was great as it was very close to Christmas and the best part .......my vision is now perfect !, no headaches, no distortion, no issues driving etc. ......just good, clear vision. Vanessa was extremely argumentative on the phone and told me that they stand behind their customers but that because I wanted to go somewhere else, there was nothing they could do for me. Told them I'd never come back and I'm going to dispute their charges to VSP and to my credit card. Her excuse was they would take a loss on their error so there was nothing they could do for me. Plenty of better options in the area! Update, went to a lens crafters and got a different prescription with a different axis and cylinder and no headaches or issues.

He was very knowledgeable in caring for my eyes by lowering the prescription that my previous ophthalmologist had put me on. It immediately allowed my eyes to rest because even though the prescription was not as strong, I was able to see better. He was also very wise in terms of the anatomy and physiology of the health of the eye. It was sad to see him since has moved on from this location. The technician who did intake for me was very nice and efficient. She definitely knew her stuff. However, I think it may be a bit too sterile in that she was too efficient that any personable, bedside manners with patients were lost in the process. I felt like I was being whisked away from one machine to another without a chance to catch my breath. Dr. Yim, the owner of this place, did have excellent bedside manners. He greeted me, allowed me to talk, as well as informing me of what was going on with my eyes. He had an excellent tone when speaking to me, almost radio-like ASMR quality. He really shines when he asks which lens is better, "1 or 2?" He was not condescending at all and was very personable in that he meets you where you're at in terms of understanding. He does a very good job of "accommodating" you (pun intended) throughout the process of an eye exam as well as recommending additional services that is covered within your service to make sure your pupils are in great health such as a pupil dilation follow up. The optician, Laura, was very nice to me and did not try to hard sell me on any optical wear. I felt like I could decline at any moment. She answered all my questions patiently. Overall, I would recommend coming here for your eye exam if your insurance covers it.
