Nick came into our lives during a very bad situation I had between 2 of my girls and has been our…read moreguardian Angel ever since. We had to put one of them down due to injuries and thought I would need to rehome 2 of them but he worked with all of us and made my pack stronger and more bonded than ever. He took the time to come over first and watch and observe them together and then he worked with them individually and in smaller groups. He trained me as well on how to be a stronger mama bear and take my power back. He taught me to "lock up" my couch since the couch was misbehaving when I wasn't home. Haha. Now my furniture is safe, my dogs aren't tempted and they can be unsupervised more often without getting into trouble. His weekly group classes are a lot of fun to bring the dogs to so they can play and train at the same time. They can meet other dogs if they want or we just do our own thing and my crazies love Mr. Nick. He still periodically checks in on us and always responds to my texts when I have a quick question. After 3 no notice cancellations (day of, within an hour of our scheduled session) he stated "he didn't know how he was supposed to task train a dog for PTSD anyways" and quit. We only received a partial, prorated refund (at a higher hourly rate) after threatening legal action against him. His only sessions repeatedly focused on having the dog walk with a shopping cart even after being specifically told that was not a priority for us. I regret working with Ira and losing thousands of dollars. Spend your money elsewhere.

Today, our appointment was canceled with roughly 15 minutes notice -- which of course we didn't even receive because we were already driving to the appointment when they called. This comes after our previous appointment where we sat waiting nearly 25 minutes past our scheduled time just to get our dog checked in. What's especially frustrating is that this business is extremely strict about requiring rabies vaccination records for new clients -- which is completely understandable and responsible -- yet somehow they don't actually keep those records on file afterward. So now that we're going elsewhere, they can't even provide us a copy of the records we already submitted. At this point, it just feels incredibly disorganized from a management/ownership standpoint. Two appointments in a row have either been significantly delayed or outright canceled, and there doesn't seem to be much regard for customers' time or convenience. Thankfully, there are plenty of groomers to choose from, so this really isn't the end of the world. It's just an odd way to run a business if the goal is to attract and retain loyal customers.

I have had multiple dogs and she's the only one I've ever felt the need to get help training with, so she's a challenge.
