Nick came into our lives during a very bad situation I had between 2 of my girls and has been our…read moreguardian Angel ever since. We had to put one of them down due to injuries and thought I would need to rehome 2 of them but he worked with all of us and made my pack stronger and more bonded than ever. He took the time to come over first and watch and observe them together and then he worked with them individually and in smaller groups. He trained me as well on how to be a stronger mama bear and take my power back. He taught me to "lock up" my couch since the couch was misbehaving when I wasn't home. Haha. Now my furniture is safe, my dogs aren't tempted and they can be unsupervised more often without getting into trouble. His weekly group classes are a lot of fun to bring the dogs to so they can play and train at the same time. They can meet other dogs if they want or we just do our own thing and my crazies love Mr. Nick. He still periodically checks in on us and always responds to my texts when I have a quick question. There were a few problem behaviors we were able to work on right away. Jumping, sitting, and overall listening. AJ is extremely great with our dogs. They are excited to see her every session, and happy to work hard for her. AJ is not only a great dog trainer but also a teacher to us humans. She helped us learn the tools we needed for our dogs to be successful. After 8 sessions our dogs are doing great with door manners, a long stay, coming when called and more. She has taught us fun games that allow the dogs to use their noses to find scents, while also tiring them out. AJ listened to our needs, and investigated our surroundings/situation. AJ prioritizes Nala's delicate insecurities. There are not many Trainers (or businesses) that go above and beyond the need to "sincerely help" and yet is still a professional. ie: AJ has accompanied us on numerous Vet visits; suggested Doggie Daycare, plus accompanied us on Nala 1st visit and ensured Nala's transition into socializing with other dogs. In which was a success! Nala is now at leash training status and people interaction. Stay tuned for further updates... Don't ponder... we still HIGHLY RECOMMEND AJ for your pet training needs!!!!

We signed…read morea contract with him and one day post the cancellation timeline he tried to cancel the contract with zero refund -- citing he wanted to focus I his flying instruction. After 3 no notice cancellations (day of, within an hour of our scheduled session) he stated "he didn't know how he was supposed to task train a dog for PTSD anyways" and quit. We only received a partial, prorated refund (at a higher hourly rate) after threatening legal action against him. His only sessions repeatedly focused on having the dog walk with a shopping cart even after being specifically told that was not a priority for us. I regret working with Ira and losing thousands of dollars. Spend your money elsewhere.

Today, our appointment was canceled with roughly 15 minutes notice -- which of course we didn't even receive because we were already driving to the appointment when they called. This comes after our previous appointment where we sat waiting nearly 25 minutes past our scheduled time just to get our dog checked in. What's especially frustrating is that this business is extremely strict about requiring rabies vaccination records for new clients -- which is completely understandable and responsible -- yet somehow they don't actually keep those records on file afterward. So now that we're going elsewhere, they can't even provide us a copy of the records we already submitted. At this point, it just feels incredibly disorganized from a management/ownership standpoint. Two appointments in a row have either been significantly delayed or outright canceled, and there doesn't seem to be much regard for customers' time or convenience. Thankfully, there are plenty of groomers to choose from, so this really isn't the end of the world. It's just an odd way to run a business if the goal is to attract and retain loyal customers.

I have had multiple dogs and she's the only one I've ever felt the need to get help training with, so she's a challenge. Her behavior isn't perfect, but she's made a ton of progress and is completely manageable now. She's still getting better but even if this is was all the improvement she made I would honestly be totally content with the results. Additionally, their prices are really reasonable compared to other places. My recommendation to get the best bang for your buck is to do the 3 week training program at their facility while coordinating with an extended vacation you might be planning. Their price is in the same ballpark as an upscale boarding house, except you get the huge benefit of the training and attention for the pooch! The team is also very personable and flexible, being very gracious with their schedule when I needed some follow up training sessions to make sure I was reenforcing the training properly. I also always was left feeling secure that these guys are dog lovers and my precious gal was in caring hands when I was out of town. Since then, Roman has had some trouble adapting and has become a little aggressive. I reached out to Sit Means Sit, where Roman was trained in Colorado, and Mike was extremely helpful. He made an appointment to come to our home and give an assessment of Roman Lee. It was amazing to see how quickly Roman Lee responded to him. I quickly realized it wasn't Roman who needed to be reset--it was me. Now we are working on classes, and Mike is going to do a reassessment in a week. I'll keep you posted on how Roman and I do.
