Yep, we learned Sit Means Sit from D'Awna!

Flashback 6 months ago: I tried all sorts of collars, vests, harnesses, leashes-nothing stopped my dog from going rouge on the leash. I hated to walk her. Plus, she was a fraidy cat. Cried when we left her even for a minute and coward around other dogs. Oh, and when I called her, you could just tell she was thinking "you talking to me?" Now? She walks next to me in 'heel' position, sits on command, and we can leave her home for a few hours. She plays with other dogs, even the big ones! And yes she comes when called! It is great having a happy pet and a companion that enjoys going for walks and to play in the park. D'Awna has been a great trainer, for me and my dog! We had a couple private lessons and now attend the group lessons. Although I did not sign up for the 'board and train', I see fast results during group class with those pups. The group classes vary weekly and include the basics, tricks, advanced skills, and group walks. They are a lot of fun for me and my dog! A big thank you to Yelp for helping me find D'Awna!

Not enough words to boast about this husband and wife team - DON and LINDA!!!!! ( Facebook is sit means sit SW LV) ...... Truly amazing, loving REAL PEOPLE. I feel like they are a PART of OUR FAMILY!!! Tank & Roxy LOVE THEM!!!! They CARE about you! THEY CARE about YOUR DOGS!!! They want you to have well behaved dogs so that you can fully enjoy their companionship! And THEY DELIVER MORE! EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!!!! ( I went through a very trying time with a miscarriage and Linda and Don reached out to me, checked o me, even sent me a card to express their thoughts! It really Blew my MIND!!!! These people are genuine and Loving!!!!) My husband travels to the Middle East for three months at a time. My two beloved rugrats are a blessing but needed some help. I couldn't walk them on a leash or make them do what I wanted... they were like a two year old that wouldn't listen for anything. It was embarrassing and tough on me! Esp with my husband being gone. The stress and anxiety when dogs came by the yard or walked by, I thought for a bit my little guy Tank was dog aggressive... but no, it was the fact that I needed the training more! So Don and Linda reached out to me at my dyer need... ( my husband was deployed and I was going crazy at the end of my rope) Linda must have known this because it was a huge BLESSING for me! She offered to take the pups for a week and her and Don would work with them. They came back different dogs and this "kick start" is just what we needed to progress forward. They truly Blessed me by offering help for me... and their fees are MORE than reasonable!!! Their care and love for your pets would be thousands of dollars ( I know because I've looked around) ... the way they loved our pups like they were their family is priceless! They even took our dogs for the weekend and loved them up so my husband and I could enjoy a weekend in TX. WOW!!! Who does this?!! Tank and Roxy even did great around their dogs! And a cat too!! (which I'm still shocked about!) DON and LINDA! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!!! We consider you family! We tell Roxy and tank you're going to uncle Dons and AUNTIE Linda's house! Our Dogs are amazing NOW!!! I can Enjoy them so much more! Words aren't enough to express! We LOVE you guys!

We rescued a dog during the quarantine who we came to find out she was people and dog aggressive and a big puller on the leash. All professional training was shut down. I did as much as I could on my own, but I knew my pup needed professional help. Finally we were able to get a consult and training dates and all I can say is WOW!!! Tammi and Richard are amazing! They love dogs and love training and it shows. My dog is a new dog. She has work to do still, but Tammi and Richard laid the foundation for us. She walks at a perfect heel. No more pulling. She obeys commands and listens. This was the best thing we could have done for our dog and for us. We will be taking her to the group classes to keep our new skills up to par. I now feel more comfortable taking my dog on walks in public and we are now more free to take her with us to do all the activities we love to do. Just because our training days are done doesn't mean they are done with us or we them. They make themselves available to us for questions and concerns after. They really do care about the well being of our dog. Thank you is not enough to show our gratitude. They are the way to go you won't be sorry.

I am in awe at the level of excellence that Sit Means Sit Anthem Dog Training promotes and provides. I've been a dog mom for over 20 years and joined and bought every type of dog training out there, but nothing ever seemed to stick for me in my past. When I got my Golden Doodle, I knew I couldn't waste such an intelligent and talented dog on my lack of training abilities and consistency. I interviewed several training companies, but my head and heart were 100% confident and comfortable with SMS's training methods, pricing and timelines. I loved the all-day school drop-off training idea. Genius, in fact! Within the first day, my dog was a completely different dog. It looked as if she immediately belonged in a dog show. It was beautiful. By graduation, you could see how happy she was to be pleasing us and getting so much praise in return. The training does stick with the dog, it's so easy to stay consistent with for us, as humans, and our babies actually enjoy learning and obeying and being rewarded with high praise. I couldn't be happier with the results and the new friends I've made along the way, in the trainers. They are worth every penny and then some, and the fact that I have access to them for my fur-baby's lifetime, should anything arise that they can assist with, brings me so much peace and trust in them and their work. You don't find that anymore. A lifetime of gratitude - Thank You Tammi & Richard!

D'Awna teaches clients how to relate to our dogs. We adopted a very fear aggressive dog, and with D'Awna's training, we have learned to watch Daisy's signals to be one a step ahead, to bring that aggression to a halt. Our walks with Daisy are much more peaceful. She and our other dogs now do not pull on the leash to lead us, they walk in heel & let us lead them. D'Awna and Lexi are what we call miracle workers. We've seen dogs come into class that have had other trainers and never got over their issues. But after attending a couple of classes, those dogs learn to be responsive, happy pets in all situations. This training keeps the dogs attention on their owner through many different, unforeseen scenarios. The training is very kind and gentle. Our pets are happy and look forward to class (and D'Awna & Lexi's loving on them) as much as we humans do! Daisy is madly in love with D'Awna!

If you're looking for a knowledgeable and professional dog trainer, Nick brings both expertise and clarity to the process. His approach gave us the confidence to move forward with one of his puppy training packages. The group sessions have been incredibly valuable--providing structure, socialization, and meaningful growth for Koa. We're especially grateful for the one-on-one guidance Nick has given us, helping us confidently reinforce commands and build strong obedience skills at home and on walks. We've seen tremendous improvement, particularly in managing Koa's over-the-top excitement when greeting people and other dogs. Content K9s also offers boarding and training to their clients, so having that option during our recent 2 1/2-week international trip gave us complete peace of mind. Koa was clearly well cared for, and we returned to a happy, well-adjusted pup. Nick and the Content K9s team deliver professional, effective, and thoughtful dog training. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for puppy training, obedience training, or behavioral support.

We had to put one of them down due to injuries and thought I would need to rehome 2 of them but he worked with all of us and made my pack stronger and more bonded than ever. He took the time to come over first and watch and observe them together and then he worked with them individually and in smaller groups. He trained me as well on how to be a stronger mama bear and take my power back. He taught me to "lock up" my couch since the couch was misbehaving when I wasn't home. Haha. Now my furniture is safe, my dogs aren't tempted and they can be unsupervised more often without getting into trouble. His weekly group classes are a lot of fun to bring the dogs to so they can play and train at the same time. They can meet other dogs if they want or we just do our own thing and my crazies love Mr. Nick. He still periodically checks in on us and always responds to my texts when I have a quick question. You can tell he truly loves all the animals he works with and they can feel it too. I'm so glad he was recommended to me by my vet. He was life saver then and he is still one now. Because 5 crazies is a lifelong commitment and the training snd questions never stop.

When we showed up, she was barking, lunging, and going crazy since we got off the car, and we couldn't go near at all!! This continued for maybe four sessions in. Then Mike grabbed her leash and corrected her. That's all it took! He showed us how to fix the situation and stay consistent at it. Look at the picture! This is her in STAY command, just relaxing on the trail. We can walk by other dogs without a hassle. It's a working progress, but this wouldn't have happened without his training. Mike is full of knowledge and experience. He taught us very simple yet valuable skills, and it's been going very well since our sessions ended.

Michael was communicative and flexible while scheduling our weekly classes. There was never any force or aggressive training involved at any time, no need for shock collars only training collars (very different). They use towels that are stained and dirty. So bring your own The shampoo and conditioner is not strong so bring your own. They have a mat to lay down on the tub so it's softer for your dog. But after the wash, residual soapy water and hair lie underneath this math and when you go to use the velocity dryer in your dog, that dirty water gets shot up to your pet. So I take the mat out rinse off the tub to clear soap and hair, and use the towel to dry my dog and lay on the CLEAN tub for my CLEAN dog. This way when you're using the strong velocity dryer, everything can get dry without getting re- wet from water sitting underneath the mat. A employee tells me I can not have the towel under my dog. When the sign says do not put towels on the ground/floor. Apparently laying a towel down in the clean tub where I just scrubbed my dogs feet CLEAN, is going to STAIN the towels that THEY STILL KEEP FOR USE!!???! I get if you're going to have that rule but at least have towels that are not stained for use I didn't even WANT to use it on my dog.
