Pam did a wonderful job with my 2 boxers. I was ready to rehome my female after some very unruly behavior. After 6 weeks of in home training life couldn't be better. I highly recommend her services. She also boarded my male while my female was in heet. She's very compassionate about what she does and loves the animals.

I had to get my little homies right so that they could travel with me and make all of our lives easier and happier. Their main issues were barking at dogs and people, and leash pulling. The owner, Pam, was knowledgeable and warm. Desiree was great to train with and I really liked her blunt style. I could tell they really are passionate about their work. Training is over but Desiree still answered a question I had today which is great. The price for 6 weeks was very reasonable. I like the fact that most of the training was at Bass Pro Shop so my dogs could train around passing dogs and people in a store setting. There's still work to do, but the homies are far less embarrassing in public now and when I have people over. Just remember that you get what you put into it.

Pam and her assistant Ivy are the absolute best. They know what they are doing and will get the absolute best out of your dog. I got a four month old puppy that had not been socialized with people or other dogs, who was shy and not confident, and after just a few lessons she became so friendly and confident with other dogs and people. Now she loves everyone and everyone loves her. Pam also hosts a doggy social hour for current and past clients so your dog can socialize with other trained (or in training) dogs in a safe environment. My dog and I love going! And of course the cost of training is insanely affordable compared to so many other places. Pam's training is such a value, I'm so happy she and Ivy are our trainers!

Pam is fantastic and lessens to your need. She not only trains your dog she trains you too so you are able to continue what you have learned in her class. Everyone at Bass Pro Shop is great to. The dogs are able to socialize with not only dogs but all the works .We have a puppy Rottweiler Hercules, because of the training that Pam does when we come to the next class we are ready to learn something new. At home we train Hercules and his sister Molly together. It is nice to walk both dogs healing on each side of you when you are out for a walk. I highly recommend Pam at Paws-A-Tive Dog Training 702-817-3495 Thank you for all your help Robin D

Let's talk facts! My 7-year-old Cocker Spaniel, Patricia Elizabeth (Patty), is the most important and beloved an treasure in my life. Saying that, Patty had a few behavior issues that needed to be corrected. If she didn't get her way she would snap at me, ignore my commands, didn't get along with other dogs; displayed non-social behavior. Realizing she needed professional training, I did my due diligence in locating the right dog trainer for my little sweetie. The criteria I used in selecting a trainer was: One-on-one private training sessions, instinctively knew what training my Patty required to become responsive and obedient, as well as, the training I needed required to handle all situations that came up. When I met Pam Watson, the owner and trainer of Paws-A-Tive Dog Training, there was no doubt in my mind that I had found a trainer who truly loves and understands dogs...a "Dog Whisperer"! During the six (6) week course, it was remarkable how much Patty's behavior completely changed. She became my "Pretty - Perfect - Princess Patty"! Patty loves Pam and "going to school" so I decided to continue with her lessons and have her certified as a "Service Dog" for my use. She is so great as a Service Dog and provides me the aid I need wherever I go. I hope my review was helpful and if you are interested in a trainer for your dog, at least give Pam a call...you won't be sorry!!!

I noticed that he had gotten thin and was not his usually self. On Sept. 5th I had to take him to the vet. He weighed 13 lbs (on 8/6/25 he was at vet and he weighed 14.8 lbs which was always his normal weight give a few ounces). He also had fever of 103, and bloody soft stool and very lethargic. The next day I called kennel and told them what happened, I was told the owner would get back to me. No call from the owner, so I called again the next day. Same response. On Monday. 9/8 I called the previous owner, he told me that he would have the new owner contact me. The new owner Mckelle gave me a call that night. She told me after 2 hours they pick up the wet food (cans). Whether its eaten or not. My dog has always been a grazer (he eats when he wants too). Mckelle also told me that she would call me back the next day after checking the feeding logs. I never got another call. Basically they starved my poor boy and the damage to his system was irreversible. I had to put him to sleep on 9/9/25. My beautiful boy is gone because of them!!!! Avoid this place!!!!

If you're looking for a knowledgeable and professional dog trainer, Nick brings both expertise and clarity to the process. His approach gave us the confidence to move forward with one of his puppy training packages. The group sessions have been incredibly valuable--providing structure, socialization, and meaningful growth for Koa. We're especially grateful for the one-on-one guidance Nick has given us, helping us confidently reinforce commands and build strong obedience skills at home and on walks. We've seen tremendous improvement, particularly in managing Koa's over-the-top excitement when greeting people and other dogs. Content K9s also offers boarding and training to their clients, so having that option during our recent 2 1/2-week international trip gave us complete peace of mind. Koa was clearly well cared for, and we returned to a happy, well-adjusted pup. Nick and the Content K9s team deliver professional, effective, and thoughtful dog training. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for puppy training, obedience training, or behavioral support.

We had to put one of them down due to injuries and thought I would need to rehome 2 of them but he worked with all of us and made my pack stronger and more bonded than ever. He took the time to come over first and watch and observe them together and then he worked with them individually and in smaller groups. He trained me as well on how to be a stronger mama bear and take my power back. He taught me to "lock up" my couch since the couch was misbehaving when I wasn't home. Haha. Now my furniture is safe, my dogs aren't tempted and they can be unsupervised more often without getting into trouble. His weekly group classes are a lot of fun to bring the dogs to so they can play and train at the same time. They can meet other dogs if they want or we just do our own thing and my crazies love Mr. Nick. He still periodically checks in on us and always responds to my texts when I have a quick question. After hearing a positive experience from our neighbor, we decided to meet with Brendan from Lead and Thrive Dog Training. From the first consultation, Brendan was confident, clear, and straightforward. He explained that the program would take eight weeks and emphasized that our consistency at home would be the key to success. He also provided all of the necessary equipment, including a long-range collar, leashes, and training collars, which made the process easy to get started. After the consultation, we planned to take a few days to think about it, but within minutes of Brendan leaving, my wife was already asking me to call him back and get started right away. That pretty much says it all. The program consisted of one session per week for eight weeks. In our case, that included four in-home sessions, two sessions at a nearby park, and two additional sessions tailored to what we wanted to focus on. We chose more dog-focused park training instead of busier, people-heavy environments like Lowe's or Home Depot. Each session was followed up with a detailed text recap covering what we worked on and how to continue practicing during the week. That made a huge difference in staying consistent. After completing the program, we also gained access to unlimited weekly group training sessions, which is a great added value. Brendan also gave us helpful recommendations for quality gear, like retractable leashes and car restraints. At the end of the process, we couldn't be happier. The results, the value, the structure, and the support all exceeded our expectations. Augie has made incredible progress, and we feel much more confident as dog owners.
