On 3/9 a tech came out and did the measurements. He wrote everything down on what appeared to be a piece of scratch paper. I wrote down my email address for him and I was told they would email me the quote. A few days rolled by and I hadn't received anything. I ended up waiting until that Friday to call and ask if I would expect the estimate anytime soon. The gentleman said they were working on it and would have it shortly. On Monday 3/16, I had still not received anything. I ended up waiting until the following Friday, 3/20 to call again. The gentleman I spoke to said he would call me back but never got a call back. I have a pretty busy life so it's not easy to have to keep calling a business to get them to provide a service. I ended up calling again on Monday, 3/23. I told the gentleman who answered (sounded like he was working from home vs. a shop like the previous calls) that no one had gotten me an estimate and it had been over 2 weeks. He seemed genuinely apologetic that no one had gotten back to me. He located the estimate order but the tech had not entered any notes, which didn't surprise me considering he wrote them on scratch paper. I told the gentleman this was the last time I was going to call because this was my 3rd time calling. I re-verified my email address and he assured me he'd get a hold of his tech and get back to me. Today is 3/26 and I still have not heard from anyone. I will have to find another company that actually wants my business.

I had a terrible experience with this company…read more I called to get a quote on a windshield seal leak for my '16 Outback. They quoted me $120 for labor if they could repair it without removing the windshield, and $250 if they needed to remove it. They asked if the windshield had been replaced, but I bought the car used so I wasn't sure. They said factory glass is less likely to break during removal. The address associated with the business on Yelp is only 4 blocks from my house. After they took my info, I confirmed the drop-off time, which is when they said they would come to me. I said I didn't mind bringing it to the shop because it was so close. They said they recently relocated and asked which address I saw on the site. I told them the cross streets and they confirmed it was the correct address. So the next day, I bring my car in, only to be met with confusion by the business owners. They said they contract with Alpha for auto glass work, but are not associated with them otherwise, and were not notified about my appt. I explained the situation and they took my keys. A few hours later I get a call from Alpha saying my leak is fixed and the car is ready to be picked up. I asked what I owed them. He said $220. I had a meeting I needed to attend to in that moment, so I said I would call him back. After my meeting, I reached back out and asked if they needed to remove the windshield. He said no. So I reiterated the quote I received from his associate the day before, and suddenly the price was now $120. I walked to the shop to retrieve my car, payed the business owner, and got in my car to leave. I examined the area that needed repair, and the corresponding leak, only to find it was still leaking and the windshield seal stripping was still pulled away from the windshield. I went back in and told the business owners what I discovered. They immediately refunded my payment and I showed them the leak just to verify my claim. They were very kind and apologetic, and ensured they would cease contracting with Alpha immediately. So now I'm in limbo, with mold growing in my car, after three weeks away from home, and returning to discover the issue. Nothing is resolved and I'm feeling very discouraged. In short, I do not trust or recommend this company. Not only did they not do the repair, they tried to charge me for labor that they didn't do. Hard pass. Find a different auto glass company for your repair needs!
