I took my vehicle to Caliber Collision as a part of Geico's express program for repairs. I was able to drop my car off, pickup a rental, drop the rental off, and pickup my vehicle in all about the same place. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly, signed some paperwork, then walked to Enterprise by one of the staff. Enterprise was about a block away. Their staff person asked if he could carry something for me and I asked him to carry my purse. He did so and I thought it was a sweet gesture. Caliber Collision is very communicative. They sent me several updates, via text, during the repair process. When my vehicle was ready, I received a call and a text message. I am super happy with the work Caliber did. I can't tell that I was in an accident and the work was completed quickly and good. read more

Do not use this business for an insurance estimate. My insurance company has had to call them multiple times to complete their paperwork. I also called them and have had to let the phone ring for an inordinate amount of time before they pick up. What should have taken days has taken weeks. read more

My wife and I became aware of Caliber Collision when we saw them listed as a shop that could handle insurance claim repairs. Since our first call to them we have thought of them as the best place to go for damage repairs because they seem so experienced and knowledgeable. Paige is great with front desk customer service. We trust her to have ready answers on whether they can help, then Mel takes care of the evaluation and repair options. They seem very intent on meeting customer expectations, The shop personnel were very capable and professional. I had backed out of a parking space with unusually high curb. A horrible sound occurred. I exited my car to see that the front bumper was nearly ripped off. Hanging down, and most of the clips obviously broken. Looked terrible and was concerned it would fall off completely while driving. I took my car over to Caliber to get an estimate. Could not afford at that moment. So, a total of four employees took time out of their day to help me. Getting down under the car to install bolts. Fixing the bumper up top, It had to have taken them about an hour. The bumper looked great and was secure. And you know, I was shocked to find that all of that work was provided to me for free. I could not comprehend the kindness and concern given to me by all four of these employees. Simply could not believe it. I went to them as I have friend who uses them; he off roads in his Subaru so he does damage to his car more than anyone! He loves them and I have always known how he would give them raves for their work and ethics. When I finally gather the funds to replace bumper I will 100% use Caliber. Worst shop ever. Avoid, avoid, avoid. We brought our Kia Niro in because our gas tank had been drilled into. They "repaired" it but when we came to pick it up the check engine light was on. The repair person said it was on when we brought it in (it wasn't, my husband had photo proof), and when we pushed them on it they said we needed to bring it into the Kia Repair Shop so they could "reset the system". When we brought it into Kia THEY FOUND A RAG IN THE GAS TANK. A rag! In the gas tank! How does that even happen???? They had also hooked up the electrical system incorrectly and could have caused severe and permanent damage to our vehicle if we hadn't brought it into Kia as quickly as we did. This place is horrific and I'll probably be reporting them to the BBB, it was that bad. read more

Customer service is unacceptable. Lead times and the duration of time they have had my vehicle for a minor repair is unacceptable. Caliber was the preferred vendor for my insurance so I trusted they would be a reputable service. I will never bring my vehicle to Caliber for anything ever again. read more

My car got broken into Feb. 2024, so I had glass all over my car and inside the drivers seat belt (so it was not drivable). When I dropped my car off, they covered my ride from LYFT to get back home and I got my car back, it got detailed!! I was so impressed. Benjamin was completely amazing. He did such a great job from the beginning to the end. He made me feel comfortable and gave me a safe space to let me know everything will be okay with my car. He had such a great smile and an amazing attitude. He was very communicative when I was waiting and my car was in the shop for 1.5 weeks. 5/5 star rating (higher if I could!!). Friendly enough staff but horrible experience. Came in to pick up my car and discovered multiple painting mistakes including paint around the gas tank fill area, some kind of dried paint or polish on the drivers side door and tons of dried paint spots all over 3 windows and the roof. I came for a simple fix of a small dent on the drivers side passenger door. After closer inspection Caliber decided they needed to keep the vehicle for 5 more days and clean up all the sloppy work. What upsets me the most is they tried to return my car to me with all these mistakes. That pretty much tells me all I need to know about what their standard for quality is. I don't like leaving negative feedback, would have loved to leave a glowing review but man they really dropped the ball on this one! The actual work of fixing the dent and paint job seem pretty ok but all the other things I mentioned above was really disappointing. read more

I took my car to this shop for a 2nd estimate. The first estimate was over $600 and that seemed extremely overpriced for a couple scratches. I really didn't want to pay $600 when my deductible is $500. So... I called this place and they were able to see me right away. At this shop, a guy named Mel went out to look at my car. I showed him where someone had scratched my car but didn't leave a note or anything. This guy was in nice clothes but he got on his hands and knees to look at my car. He got some stuff from the shop and within about 10 minutes the scratches were gone. They didn't charge me anything and saved me $600!!! I was originally utilizing Caliber Collision because my windshield and windows got senselessly bashed in while in NE Portland. My insurance referred me to Caliber Collision and they did a wonderful job and were super speedy. A couple weeks later, I got pulled over for an illegal u-turn and ended up getting a ticket because my windows were tinted to an illegal level, which I was unaware of when I bought the car. The ticket stated that if I fixed the tint, they'd drop the fine. I called Caliber, and they were super understanding and apologetic (even though I felt it was my fault to some extent to not know that my tint was illegal!). They said it would be about $100 to fix the tint. I dropped off the car and it was ready next day! When I went to go pick it up, they wouldn't allow me to pay :,) the quality of service is unmatched and their team is compassionate, competent, and kind. Every employee I interacted with was lovely and respectful. I will be referring many others from now on and will continue to use their services when needed! read more

Contacted Caliber per USAA's recommendation. Estimates were booked out for 30+ days, so I opted to do their online estimate per their recommendation. Upon completing and receiving the online estimate, I called to book the repair. I was told I STILL need to come in for an in-person estimate and now they are booked into late October! Unbelievable. Why would you not just tell a potential customer that they would need the in-person estimate?? What is the point of an online estimate if you don't honor that estimate? read more

Initially got introduced to Caliber Collision when I had an insurance repair. They (Mel and his associates) were very attentive to the situation, was in regular contact and made me feel they were interested in my repair (and satisfaction). There were a couple small fine-tuning elements after the work was done and I just stopped by after noticing and they got right on it. Now, over 9 months later I had a completely unrelated situation where a car passed me to closely and whacked my side mirror... luckily it didn't break it, just made a mark about 5 inches long. As I was in the area one day I stopped in to ask them what could be done to fix it. I didn't know if it was a scratch or a mark - ended up being a mark. Mel came right out, got a rag and some rubbing compound to take the mark right off! Didn't make me do an appointment and no charge, just sent me on my way all taken care of. I went directly to them for repairs, and Myka hooked me up and had me on the road in no time. She didn't even charge me!!! Mel was great! For my 11-year-old Prius, I wasn't looking for a "like new" repair-- I just wanted my caved-in bumper to be less noticeable. Mel and understood completely and said he could do the job for $150-a fraction of what a competitor wanted. The problem was, as pandemic restrictions have been lifted, Caliber is swamped! Management couldn't justify reserving time on the schedule for such an inexpensive repair, so Mel whipped out his wrench and took care of it on the spot, for free. read more

I had to bring my car in to get my bumper repaired a few weeks ago. It was a USAA preferred repair shop and I can totally see why. The entire process was seriously seamless. I dropped my car off and was in my rental (conveniently picked up around the corner) within 20 minutes. The gentleman that helped me was awesome. He escorted me to get my rental and kept me updated via text throughout the repair process. It was also done in 3 days which blew my mind (COVID probably helped with things being less busy but still) and clean inside and out. Not one to Yelp, pretty much ever, but the experience I had with Caliber couldn't be left unsaid/unshared. The entire process from start to finish was absolutely seamless. After my car was hit in a parking lot and my insurance claim filed, I was able to get an appointment for an estimate the next day even though it's an extremely busy season. We walked around the car together noting what was in need of repair as well as a timeline for repairs. Even though it is a super busy time (summer, COVID, etc) I was pleasantly surprised how quickly they were able to fix my car. I just handed over the keys and was walked to the car rental location across the street. The location is fantastic - being so close to Enterprise rental is a huge timesaver. Travis was in charge of my repair and did an amazing job keeping me updated on the status of the repairs via text as well as answering questions I had about potential other non-accident related repairs in a very honest, "non-sales" way. The day my car was complete, they were able to drop off my car and pick up the rental from my home (inner SE so nearby). Coordinating this was a breeze and the exchange took all of 2 minutes. I don't consider myself to be too car savvy, but I am meticulous, and my car looks amazing - dare I say better than prior to the accident. They even vacuumed the interior and obviously took care to protect everything. I've been through my fair share of car repairs over the years, in shops all over the country, and Caliber Collision was BY FAR the best experience I've ever had. This is the second time that I have had my car repaired by Caliber. I cannot even begin to tell you how easy they made the whole process. My car's catalytic converter was chopped off my Prius and my insurance company did not want us to drive it to the repair shop. Caliber arranged for the tow, completed the repair in one day and even let me know that the rental agency my insurance company requested was right behind them. When I picked up my car, the adjuster let me know why my converter was desirable, how fast it was stolen and options to protect myself in the future. This was a repair I hadn't anticipated (just the deductible) but these folks made it okay. I really appreciated that they fixed my car before the holidays.
