this place is everything you want a nail shop to be. There are tons of colors and styles. The place is clean and they see you quickly. They are opened everyday. The nail tech I had was cool she is professional, talks to you while doing your nails and has some very nice nail suggestions. It is 4 days in and my nails are chipping tho. My gel polish lifted after 10 days of getting them done. For the same price, other nail salons's gel can last up to three weeks. I think the person who did my nails wasn't experienced. She didn't get the sides of my nails, it is lifting and catching my hair after a week. I asked for chrome nails but two people said they don't have it. I loveeeee this nail salon, i come back every 2-3 weeks and my nails still look so good. i usually have two nail techs who always do a fantastic job on my nails (Malinda and Jenna) they take care of me and they are very funny. Great for acrylic sets - not for gel mani/pedicures. Unfortunately, the guy who did my nails failed to shape them at all and I left spending $70 only to return later that afternoon because one hand of nails did not cure and was falling off. They happily fixed it for me, but I've been to other salons who really shape your nails and leave you with a gorgeous manicure that lasts for 2 weeks. Prices are very high not worth quality of work. Gone to them for months and different techs every time. They take offense to when you disagree and aren't satisfied with the work. I have natural long nails and the the shaved off half my nail and saw no problem, stating we'll just fix it with acrylic. They also cut my daughters finger removing tips because they were frustrated with my complaints. WON'T EVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN! I had a great experience at Lyly nails. I made an appointment for 9am on a Friday and was running late, so I called and they said it was no problem. When I arrived, I was immediately seated and given a bucket of nail colors (I wanted gel) to look through. I took my time picking colors, and went with the light pink with sparkly accent nail. Took about an hour for them to fully remove my old set of acrylics, put on the new set, and paint my nails. Total cost was $42, which, for both removal and a new set and GEL, is honestly really reasonable. She also said she didn't charge me extra for the sparkles. I will say that I wasn't completely satisfied with the sparkly nails because they are just a bit thin for my liking. However, I am overall satisfied and would be a repeat customer! Thanks! My first time here today and right away they have MANY colors to choose from. The lady that did my nails took her time and was very sweet to me. This is honestly the best acrylic nails I've ever gotten they are all the same length and everything. I'm definitely coming back. A week and a day update: Hello I'm back to share my nails they are all still there and they still look amazing. This is the longest my nails have ever stayed on. Today I even had a bad experience my dog was charging at the door and I went to grab her collar to stop her and I hit my pinky nail really bad. Jenna did my nails today and they were super sweet. They took their time and I which I really appreciated. I was super indecisive with picking my color, so I thank them a lot for putting up with me. Every time I go there, they do a great job but I always feel like they're all in a rush. Jenna took their time with me and was talkative. I'm only giving this place 4 stars because I didn't appreciate the way the "manager" was talking to the staff. She seemed to be very demanding and rude but super controlling. She yelled at my nail tech because they were being too "slow". But I think as a manager you would want your staff to take their time, because nail techs care about the quality of their work. The shape and the color application are beautiful. They have so many colors for gel and regular polish it became a little overwhelming to choose which color I wanted. I didn't have an appointment and just walked in-I got taken in right away. My nail technician(I think her name was Jenny?) was nice and got right to the job, I asked for a coffin nail and that's what I got. She even asked if I wanted the layer of the acrylic thin-which I always want to, but other salons never do it thin the way I like it. Now, I did have a problem with her drilling skills. On 6/10 of my nails she drilled pretty close to the cuticle/skin and 3/10 nails got pierced skin and I left with tiny small amounts of blood. I did make my nail tech aware that it was hurting and she pierced one finger that it was going to bleed-she Denied that she didn't pierce skin. And at the end after application and drying, she went in with the cuticle cutters to cute the excess off? Which I never had anyone else did that-she cut way to deep and I bled again... another nail tech apologized for the cuts-which I was very appreciative of. I may be coming back, but I won't be getting any services from this nail tech. read more

Do not go here. I got dip powder and first off all they didn't do it correctly. You are NOT supposed to use a gel top coat and a UV light. Places that do this are trying to cut corners. 1 hour after getting them done one nail broke. And then later on the next few days 4 broke. This is not normal for my nails. They did not secure the tips on properly. Will not be going back. It is cheap for a reason. read more

I went here after getting a horrible job done (claw like nails) at another nail salon in Lowell. I was greeted by the owner (female) she was really friendly and attentive. I was really upset how my nails came out at the other salon so my friend recommended I go here to see the "husband." He wasn't there so I met with the wife. She did such an amazing job fixing my coffin nails and not a lot of people are really experienced in such work. I've been to many salons that has messed up my nails. Not to mention the prices here are the cheapest in town! I'm used to getting my nails done in Boston so this was something I wasn't used too. I also got a pedicure and they did a good job as well! I am giving this place 3 stars for the following reasons. I went here on a Friday afternoon and there was about 10 people sitting waiting. I was taken right away and did not have to sit and wait. Be advised there is only street parking. You don't have to pay to park; but finding a spot may be difficult as there are several businesses on the strip. I got a gel mani and pedi and it cost $70. My manicurist was nice and did a great job on my nails. The major issue that I had with this place was that I got an infected ingrown toenail a few days after my pedicure. They did use sterilized instruments and I understand things do happen, but just be aware. read more

They do an absolutely beautiful job and are very nice. Huge selection of colors both in gel and regular. The man who did my nails was great, he was super friendly and very good at what he does. I think this is the prettiest my nails have ever looked, and the price is very reasonable ($25 for a full set, with an extra $5 for gel topcoat). This place is trash! nothing but a hole in the wall dive. They have outdated polish and color selection and use the cheapish products, so they have you coming back sooner than 2-3 weeks for a gel manicure. I think I'll take my business and my money elsewhere will never recommend this dirty disgusting place to anyone. I wanted to love this place. I found them a month ago and liked how friendly all the nail techs were. I was turned off the first time when I walked in and the nail tech told me she didn't know how to do ombré gel. Anyway I got s regular gel color and called it a day. The next day as I was simply putting on my shirt, a nail broke. I was disappointed but thought I would give them a try again. Two weeks later i went to get a fill and that nail fixed. The next day another nail broke as I was putting my hair in a pony tail! The point of getting my nails done vs putting on press ons is so that they are secure while I do everyday activities! This is the first time I have had nails break while I simply put on a shirt! Anyway I like to try places two or three times before I make a judgement. Do not come here, I got an INFECTION in both my big toes after getting a pedicure. They do not use any plastic bags or coverings for the tub, they use the SAME brushes and filers on all clients. The lady used a brush to clean my feet then used the water my feet was soaking in to wash the brush for the next client. The water was freezing cold so they had to go into the next room to get hot water from a boiler. I do not recommend this place!!! read more

I went in for dip powder( even picked the same color she did last time because i know how it looked) and I left very upset with the results. They were not smooth, uneven and all different shapes and lengths. She also wanted to charge me additional for cutting my cuticles. I mean isn't that part of getting a fresh set of dip?! Very cold and stand offish, had all her friends come in halfway through my manicure and took a break to go talk to them which is ok I guess, but didn't show any concern for my Time and started to rush when more clients came. I noticed her tools didn't look kept up, and when I went to wash my hands my nail started to bleed! Didn't even realize she cut me during the acrylic drilling. I'm hoping I don't get an infection!
