Honestly I've come here at least three times and have been extremely disappointed each time. Today was exceptionally terrible. I brought my daughter for mani pedis. We started off with the pedicure, honestly I should have gotten up and left when she dug the nail implant into the skin so deep that I jumped and started bleeding. But my daughter was having a good time so I sucked it up. I got a "French" but it's so thick and crooked and I'm still bleeding. I let the woman doing my nails know I was not happy with how thick and crooked my nails are. She straight up ignored me. When I asked the owner to look at them she brushed me off and did nothing to remedy the situation. Like how rude can you be?!? To add insult to injury, they charged me 67$. Mind you, it's all natural nails. So whatever, I paid reluctantly and left. As I drove away I was getting more and more upset. So I called and tried to explain my dissatisfaction to the owner. Not only did she keep hanging up on me even though I was just trying to explain how she did nothing to remedy the problem. She screamed at me not to F*CKING come back, and hung up on me again. The owner said that my sister's hands are ugly and that no one would want to touch her hands or do her nails anywhere else. Another time, my sister went on her own and they did not remove her old acrylic nails when doing a new set of manicure. GREAT deal. Great staff. Barebones atmosphere. This review is for Jenny. I had acrylics put on my nails for the first time here last week by another tech. I broke a nail after 3 days, but due to my work schedule only called today to see if I could have it fixed. I wasn't sure if it was the fault of the person who did the original job or if I just hit it too hard as don't know their average durability. Jenny answered my call, heard my concern and offered to stay late to see me after I got off work. Once there, she explained everything there is to know about arcrylics, asked that I trust her knowledge this time and follow her instructions about the nail shape to choose and how to taking care of my cuticles between visits at home. My nails grow fast and I needed a fill. She redid one nail entirely, filled the rest and repainted them for $13. She stayed an hour past when they closed and didn't even charge me to fix the nail I broke even though it had already been a week. She even offered to fix any smudges in my polish tomorrow if nicked it while it was drying. I would not have expected such wonderful customer service from the cheapest nail salon in Lowell. read more

Super friendly staff and great pricing!! I'm a big guy that wears boots most every day. My feet get a beating and sometimes I go see people and get pedicures to clean up any rough spots. The staff was very welcoming I called 30min before close and they said "Cone on down" I didn't feel like a burden the entire staff was smiling with another customer getting serviced at the same time. If I could give no stars I would . Smh got nail fungus from their tools or something not disinfected properly. I go back a week later and told them about what had happened when it started turning green and all they did was tell me to get another pedicure for "treatment" which seemed off to me cause if I have fungus wouldn't that be bad for the next person? Anyways I had gotten gel so I couldn't see what color my nail was or even if it improved so I just assumed maybe it would get better as the lady promised (I never had fungus before so didn't know I was supposed to get medication) so weeks go by and I feel fine but today I woke up and my whole big toe nail is completely gone!! And now my doctor is treating me for an infection. I won't even have a complete grown out nail for a year he said...I'm so mad that I trusted these money hungry people and now I have to deal with this bs and it's about to be summer! please do not come here. i've come twice and i get so disappointed when i walk out. i scheduled an appointment for 4 and they took in two walks-ins before me and my appointment didn't start until 5:20. i asked for a simple flame design and asked if she'd be able to do it- the flame didn't need the same shape and the one in the photos, but the thickness of the flame and everything was what i wanted. she said she had 20 years of designing nail experience and this wouldn't be an issue and she's had more difficult to do. unfortunately i was let down. when she did the first flame i told her i didn't like it and we should try something else. she ignored me. i asked again and ignored me. clearly i wasn't getting my way, so i let her finish. she asked me if i like them and i said not really- the flame was smudged and didn't even look like a flame. my acrylics were also bumpy and the polish was dented. it look like a two year old drew the flames. i payed her, no tip. walked out to cool off and called for my money back. i went back in, she asked why i didn't like them again, and i said the same thing. it was unprofessional and i wanted atleast a fraction of my money back for it. she said i can sit down and she'd redo them but i'd have to pay extra. no thanks. she then said "well i'm no fucking copying machine so i don't know what you want me to do". that was disrespectful and unprofessional in itself, so i walked out. not before she could make a remark- saying "next time know what the fuck you want before you come in here. I DID!!! she just couldn't do it and hyped herself up too much. i really wouldn't have had an issue if she couldn't do it, i'd choose something else- i wasn't dying to have these nails. read more

I've been going to Sexy Nails for two years.. that being said I just stopped a few months ago. Yes the designs are BEAUTIFUL and they ALWAYS do a good job (with designs) but they are horrible when it comes to acrylics. I usually come to get a fill and every time, no matter who I get, they damage my nails. I think they turn up the speed on the tools in order to speed up the shaping process but its burns when they roll it over your nail, and then they go over your actual nail (the part that needs to be filled) so much that if you get a french you can see the red damage to your nail through the acrylic! Sometimes I'm so desperate for a good design and shape that i'll voluntarily sit through it but I really wish they would slow down and take care of the customers like they used to... read more

I got my nails done here for prom. They used acrylic nails and charged us for gel. They didn't file the underside of the nail correctly and there are chunks of dried acrylic under the nail. They are also not all the same length. The woman who did them was very rough and pulled on my hands and nails like I was a doll rather than a human. I tried to tell her she was hurting me but she didn't understand what I was telling her. This place may be good for a manicure, but don't get fake nails here. read more

This is my go-to nail place. The prices are always reasonable the girls speak decent English and are always so nice. They also do amazing nails! They also do $5 eyebrow waxing. If you're looking for ambiance I wouldn't say this is your place but if you are looking for a nail place that knows what they are doing this is the place to go. They have books filled with different designs they can do as well as pictures hanging around the room. You can even go in with a picture from Pinterest and I have yet to find a design they can't do. They also have a punch card and for every so many punches you get a percentage off. The service I get done on my nail is Liquid Gel but only one person does the service. First person I sat with made me get up and go to another person, which she didn't do the liquid Gel. The owner tried to convince me to do the powder it doesn't matter. Why would I want to do that!! I would of just never got the liquid Gel to begin with!! So the girl that did do the liquid had me get up to service another person that came in after me. The person I was currently with didn't even have the courtesy to remove my gel color while I was going to wait for the gel tech. Had she done that maybe I would of not left. Although I wasn't happy with their cleanliness but I wasn't getting a pedicure so I ignored that. Not my type of place, I went in then came 3 people after me and they all were sitting except me. This is the second week in a row where about three days after I got my NEW SET of acrylics on, a finger nail has fallen off or broken. I am not rough on my nail tips at all, and use a touch screen computer at work so the fact that the acrylic just isn't strong explains why the prices here are so cheap. Yes they do good designs and shapes for the nails but the actual material of the nail is not worth it. If you do not have time, or the money to go and change your nails at the end of every week... They also wax eyebrows here. If you can, go on a weekday during the day. If you must go on a weekend, show up right when they open to beat the crowds. It was my first time going there yesterday and I thought they were great and very cheap. I got a basic manicure for $10 and my sister got a gel manicure with some nail extensions/fake nails for $31. The walls were covered in different colors of polish and our manicurists also tested out the colors for us to make sure that the color is what we wanted when it dried unlike some more expensive places I know. Both of our nails came out great and the employees took great care of us from explaining their additional services to making sure we parked in the right parking spots so our car wouldn't get towed. read more

I started coming here with a friend and now I am a loyal customer. They are very fairly priced and have so many designs to choose from. They also offer a discount card to returning customers that gives you a percentage off your bill if you go a certain number of times. You get so much for the small price you pay. I got an acrylic fill and a design on every nail and it only cost me $25.00. They also offer eyebrow waxing for only $5.00, you really can't beat the prices. A month later i took my other daughter here to get her nails done for her birthday in hopes of a different person/better service. It took the technician an hour to do my nails which is fine but she was in a rush mind you I was there early in the morning so there wasn't that many people . I got "matte" which the charged an extra 5 $ for and after washing dishes the next day the matte disappeared . While I was drying my hands in the machine she decides to add another coat .
