They waited more than a year to respond to my review, and at this point, they can't figure out who I am, so they are essentially accusing me of deceit. Jennifer Parks is so dense that she can't comprehend how normal and unremarkable it might be for a woman to be known by more than one name, and to use one of her names for her banking and another of her names for social media. It's a completely legitimate thing that women do all the time. What, does Jennifer Parks want women to bring their birth certificates and their wedding certificates and other documentation to prove who they are before she will accept a yelp review of her business as valid, like Republicans want women to do before they can vote? After all, one of your practitioners goes by both Lily and Susan. Does that mean she's not an actual staff member of Jade Star Acupuncture? Why and how would I make up the sorts of details provided in my 2024 review? Was it or was it not standard practice in the first half of 2024 for your practitioners to step out of the room at the beginning of session, to give the patient a few moments of privacy to disrobe as necessary and get settled on the table? Have you asked all the practitioners who worked for you in the first half of 2024 if they ever demanded that a client put her hair in a ponytail before she would provide a treatment? Think about what this says about Jade Star Acupuncture, about their recording keeping, about their attention to client feedback, and about their ethics. Jennifer Parks, shame on you for trying to weasel out of my thoroughly honest and legitimate review of your crappy business. Unless you're willing to return a significant portion of the $812 total I paid you for my initial session and 11 sessions thereafter, I have no interest in contacting you.

They have a prompt that rings through for a worker again, but that didn't go through either time. Either they are closed or have bad management In place. She is a car accident specialist as well as having training in MANY areas and to find someone with her knowledge, skills and training at the rates she charges is fantastic. I haven't been to an experienced LMT (licensed massage therapist) like Beth's clinical service that closely compares to any other medical provider recommended modality including Orthopedic specialists, physical therapists LMTs or chiropractors. Even though I exercise on a daily basis, eat healthy and live a very healthy lifestyle, I still experience pain based on 12 broken and dislocated bones, tendon damage causing and experience various pain levels including low level headaches throughout the day, I completely gave up on traditional medical based treatments and modalities and fully focused on a natural holistic approach. Even though I've gotten used to ongoing pain it was still a distraction preventing me from a good "quality of living" I still found the some relief based on exercise and definitely the most has been massage treatment by Beth,, I can't say how thankful I am as she listens, does a full assessment, and knows what areas of the body to focus on using several techniques customized for your needs. You could immediately tell she has years of experience, professionalism and training, After the first treatment, I've been able to go throughout the week without noticeable pain which was daily and the best part is I haven't had the ongoing daily headaches, you can't put a price on feeling on being pain free and knowing there's a solution and somebody who is genuinely interested in your well-being. Her practice is based on her passion and patience.. I work hard and I treat myself but I also need to take care of my body. I've been seeing Andy for about 10 years now. I saw her first in the Bay Area for severe carpal tunnel-esque complications from typing in my lower right hand/arm. After one session, it was gone and I've never returned to a wrist brace. I also suffer from teeth grinding/TMJ and she gave me special attention there which I had never experienced. Then a few years later I got hit by a car. She worked with me for two years after, realigned my body (mostly hips), and helped restore feeling in my lower back side after severe muscle, tissue, and nerve damage. I saw her for general massage after until she moved to Portland, Oregon. Luckily, I go to PDX often and have seen her there where she's still the best. She really has an unparalleled knowledge of anatomy and healing modalities/techniques. I have gone to fancy spas in St. Helena, Calistoga, San Francisco, Asheville, NYC, New Mexico, etc etc. She is THE ONE. A true healer. She listens to what you say, focuses on those areas, doesn't do filler nonsense- she works on you THE WHOLE time and is fully present, not just going through the motions. To this day, I feel cheated every time I get massaged by anyone else. Also, she is super safe and warm. My body relaxes around her and lets her in to do the healing. Magick heart and hands!

It was very much like having a warm, healing presence swim through your body. (my regular therapist has been blessed and is off for a while) Finding this place through Yelp was So Easy. They replied within an hour of my inquiry. I was booked for an appointment very quickly. When I first went in to the office I was greeted by the two mascots, Jack and Morgan. Two Very Sweet dogs who were very vocal with their greeting and very happy to have me greet them with scratches and pets. After filling out the questionnaire, Jack was happy to sit with me for a while and get some special scritches and pats of his own while I waited. He was a comforting presence. Ms. Jerri walked in and then directed me to a room where she asked specific questions about my problem areas and left for me to get ready on the massage table. She was Very Thorough with my back, using a muscle scraping technique along the sides of my spine with what felt like her forearm and the side of her hand. There were moments I was tempted to ask her to stop, but she seemed to know and stopped before I said anything. Her work on my legs and feet was nice and very relaxing. I'm pretty sure she used some kind of wash on my feet with a wet, warm towel to clean them afterward. It was an interesting experience. Not at all unpleasant. She also did something I've never had done before. She lightly massaged my face and tapped at my brow and below my eyes on my cheek bones. It was nice because it helped open up my sinuses after being facedown on the table for a while. After the massage, I reassembled my attire, paid and left. The receptionist asked how it was and I smiled and nodded. I am not saying Ms Jerri is Not a good therapist. I Am Saying, It was the first time I was in her care. As I mentioned before I'm used to different techniques and pressures. My only real issue with this massage was that she did not focus on the specific areas I was having the most issues with, which were outlined in the questionnaire. As with any new experience, especially physical treatments, there is a learning period. Sometimes it takes a few sessions to get the treatments established for the client, and I understand that. Would I go back? Yes, if I am unable to see my regular therapist, absolutely.
