Do not shop at this establishment. This was my favorite spot to go to until today. I've been a faithful customer for the past couple of years until I disputed an amount I was supposed to be credited back when I made a return. When checking out today, the cashier brought up some paper work from 2 years ago when I disputed credit I was suppose to receive back in return from bringing several items back in. Took over a week and a half to 2 weeks to hear back about my refund. I ended up disputing the amount on my Apple credit so they could give me back my credit instantly instead of waiting longer than I was suppose to, and dispute on my behalf. Apple disputed and adjusted my credit, so I got the correct amount back and they had their correct amount after the dispute. The employee even admitted that they got the correct amount of money back. They brought up pictures of me from video recording, and treated me like I was a thief. Found it interesting that they brought it to my attention today even though I've been shopping there consistently. They're happy to take your money, as long as you don't dispute them for not crediting back your refund in a timely manner. Don't know if the boss/owner was being incredibly petty, or something else, but after seeing that a young brown person was treated poorly at this establishment in one of these reviews, I'm not surprised at this behavior. Either way I spoke with the employee and he ended up sorting it out, knowing he was in the wrong, but said his boss was making him confront me. At least that was my understanding. This is not professional whatsoever ever, and I've given this shop a lot referrals (to my family and friends). After seeing some of these reviews about the behavior of the employees and owner, I don't think I'll be coming back. If you need something in a pinch this is a good store to go to. They have pretty much everything a nail tech needs. Some stuff looks super old and dusty, so beware. Be careful with the prices too. Almost all items do not have prices or they are marked wrong. If you have time, do a little research on what you need and see if the store is cheaper or online. I wanted to get a French clean up brush which was $11 there but on Amazon it was $6. That's a big difference especially bc I buy 6 at a time. I mainly buy staples here such as: 100% alcohol $15 (cheap!), barbicide $14, barbicide spray $10, nitrile gloves $8, cuticle nippers $12, salon towels $22. The parking lot can be a mess but there is an attendant helping. I try to get there right when they open if I can bc it's less busy. read more

Even though this place is a hot mess and I got yelled at in Vietnamese for apparently being in the way, I kinda love it. It just adds to the experience. The parking lot is nothing short of a clusterfluff, as it serves as the lot for all of the other businesses and restaurants in this strip mall. Luckily I had the good sense to not park here, so heed my warning. Cars were just randomly double parked in here, blocking people in. The store itself has all kinds of products, but specializes in manicure and pedicure items, catering to nail techs. My mom was with me and we marveled at the plastic feet (see photo) and individual fingers that looked like they were amputated. They are intended for budding nail technicians to practice on but they were kind of creepy. I specifically came in to buy some Essie products after reading how crazy cheap they are and this was no exaggeration. I bought four items (including the brand-new color "Navigate Her") which I would have paid $32 had I paid retail, but here it only cost me $16.65 plus tax. That's almost a 50% savings! It was pretty hard not to go crazy buying tons of colors because they had everything. One odd thing is while I was looking at all of the colors on the Essie wall (which is horribly located next to the register), an older woman just kept handing me polishes. I wasn't sure if she was trying to help me or suggest colors or just wanted me to put them back in the display because she never uttered a word. It was so weird. The aisles here are really narrow, making it difficult to maneuver and there are clusters of people just standing around. I couldn't tell if they worked there or were customers. The line to pay has no rhyme or reason. This is all part of the experience. Despite all of this, I will so be back. read more

Went today for gel polish only and I'm NOT licensed, very friendly workers (men) told me I could purchase anything as long it's not OPI gel because that required a license, I was totally fine with that. I bought 4 polishes at $37 pre-tax, for gel I think that's a good deal not even amazon has them that cheap, and they're the .5 bottles which are the big ones not mini. I will definitely be going back with more time, I advice knowing what colors you want because it gets overwhelming, try Pinterest for colors names. SO many options here.. it can get pretty overwhelming! Here's what I gathered: -OPI is for those with professional licenses only. -They have a large Essie collection and they're around $5-6. -Seche Vite top coat and base coat are only like $3 each! I'd say that's a steal. -They also sell other nail and beauty related items, most likely at a discount. Check out the back aisle. In addition to the main brands that I'm aware of, such as OPI, China Glaze, Essie, Seche Vite, there's so many others as well. I'm unsure of their quality, so I stuck with what I knew. I saw the signs, but knew friends that purchased here before, so figured it wasn't actually regulated. Well we pull up to the counter with a ton of OPI polish to then be asked if we had a license. Since being a nail technician is a pretty popular profession amongst Vietnamese immigrants- if you're viet and in a nail supply store, they're going to automatically assume you're a nail tech and there for supplies. That's what happens to me here and another beauty supply place that's not sally's. I'm not offended but I found it amusing when I can understand their Vietnamese amongst each other and were assuming I'm there to restock and to pass on a complimentary DVD on a new nail technique. Hehe err yeah I don't do nails. It all happened too fast for me to decline and say I'm not a nail tech but buying just for fun so I just stuffed it in my bag and continued browsing and they left me alone. Very nice, well meaning people. It's a fun little place for nail polish and other beauty and mostly nail supplies on the cheap. Cheap! Also they're good about having the latest OPI, Essie and china glaze colors. I didn't see any butter london though. Seriously, I walked out of here feeling a little cracked out. I went in the store, I came out with a bag of things. I'm not totally sure what happened in there, but I got some nail polishes? I'm bringing a list next time, or at least scanning my massive pile of colors at home so I can branch out in the variety of colors in my array of nail polish. Also, Seche Vite. It is the best. In addition to all the colors, there are a ton of other salon implements to fancy up your fingers and toes. A variety of callous scrapers and cutters anyone? Prices are great better than anywhere i've been. and now that I found my new favorite nail thing (my secret) and they have it for very reasonable price (while Sally's Beauty Supply has it super expensive) I like them even more. The store is kind of small and at times its hard to get through but the prices makes up for it. My only complain and not against the store is that some people here are complaining about this place being opened to the public "non nail technicians." I feel that is selfish. We are customers just like you and our money is as good as yours. If you are good at what you do and your prices are reasonable you will always be blessed with loyal customers who will always come back and refer you to others. read more
