I have been trying to go there since they opened about 2 years ago and I could literally kick myself for not making it a priority. It was definitely worth the wait and I will be going back again an again. Our waitress was Dane and she was very friendly and had a contagious smile. That alone made me and my guest feel welcome. I went with the traditional breakfast with French toast and added the new raspberry coffee- simply supreme. Seeing the kitchen staff working with smiles was also a delight and hearing them say Eggs Up brought back fond memories of watching the old tv show Alice. By far one of the best things was seeing a little boy come in and go straight to the counter and say Hi dad with a wave. Turns out it was possibly the head cook, who came out and gave his son a kiss. 12.14.25 7am Was just here last weekend and everything was perfect. Decided to give it another shot and it was absolutely horrible today! We ordered two classics. There were no other patrons in the restaurant, however they had quite a few online orders they were fulfilling. Our food came to the table and the potatoes were hard as rock! Inedible!! I walked both plates to the server and explained the issue. He offered to remake the meals. A few minutes later, he came back out and stated "these look much better". They did LOOK better, one bite and we were ready to go! The potatoes were barely room temperature! The issue with this restaurant is they you never know what you're going to get. The service is decent but the food is very inconsistent. Some 35 minutes wasted, no meal, hungry and now have to find somewhere else to find breakfast. We unfortunately paid for a meal that we did NOT eat. To pay over $30 for something we didn't eat is ridiculous! Not sure how to resolve this. Maybe the standards need to be more strict or folks need to follow the recipe. Very upset with the wasted money and time today. read more

Ok, so I decided to come here to grab some breakfast and I'm not disappointed. The only reason why they are not getting a 5 is because they went too happy on the seasoning of the potatoes and not enough potatoes. At first it looked like a massive amount of potatoes Ana I was happy but then it was all lifted by a bunch of potato skin and a few lager pieces of potatoes. Other than that the food tasted delicious. The garlic bread with the dill touch it's very nice. The crab cakes were very yummy. The whole plate felt balanced if those potatoes were better. The service was friendly and the food came out fast. The set up is a lovely brunch vibe, with a menu that gives a good variety on options without being overwhelming, and offers a brunch drink menu. My service was insanely slow, where another server did step up to try to help. Nice staff in general, but left me sitting for excessive extended periods. Another server brought my food out before mine came back with my brunch drink, which another server ended up making. Then didn't come back to check on me and my food or drink until I was almost done. The food was OK. Went with traditional eggs Benedict. The hollandaise was perfect, though the eggs were over done unlike I've ever had on regular eggs Benedict. The grits tasted like instant grits, and a side order of the bacon was nice big cuts but not crispy. Other plates going out around me did look appealing, though couple next to me was also not happy with their bacon not being crisp and time to get it replaced, which never was. Being a breakfast place, like all in Nashville, it got busy quick and blocks up the entrance where it's hard to get in to the hostess or out. A little miscommunication on the counter seating which turned out to be first come first serve. When we finally received some orange juice pretty sure it wasn't made from fresh oranges. No hash browns - Fried potato pieces. Everything had been over seasoned with paprika... Not good at all. Two of us arrived for brunch. The young lady who seated us said nothing, another young lady came "said I am not your server but let me get your drinks." There were 4 servers, 5 other tables with customers, 2 at the bar area,. Drinks came, the young lady who seated us went to the front and stayed, seemingly never to return. nor did anyone else. Hmmm ' Where do I start ' 1st it was father's day morning ( my mistake ) checked in and waited about 20 minutes, then realized that they were seating before us that came after us. About another 20 minutes we got our breakfast but it was cold , the toast was actually bread ( not Toasted ) The best was a strawberry crème donut ' that they offered to another customer for the same reasons but they declined the offer and the waitress brought it over to our table. Great place! Good food, decent pricing. However, the most important part was the service. The manager, Ricky, clearly cares about his job and the success of the restaurant. He greeted us while the other servers were expoing and serving a couple large parties. Went here to go check it out since it recently opened. First impression is: the host station that hits you as soon as you walk in.. I think it's bad placement because of you have more than a group..there's no place for other people to wait. Service was quick, slow day I assume, waiter took my order and was pleasant. Food came out in a timely manner, I ordered avocado toast. Food was ok, the toast wasn't really toasted, avocado was fresh, eggs were good, but the salsa was weird... looks like canned salsa and doesn't was not a good addition. The waitress was very snippy from the start. Every question we asked was yep or no . I asked what side I could get w my breakfast sandwich besides fries, she said fruit , I asked if it costs more and when she said yes I said ok no what can I get with no extra cost, she said grits, we'll when the bill came she had charged me extra and refused to fix the check. She never offered us a tea refill so when we left we asked for a tea to go, she was visibly annoyed and kinda slammed it down. I had ordered my egg over medium and it was totally raw, just squirted and ran all over making my bread wet . This is the third time I've gone there and my egg is never cooked properly.
