In preparation for a trip abroad I went to the public health clinic for a travel consultation. This pharmacy was on the list of pharmacies provided by the public health clinic that does travel vaccinations and the only location that would bill your insurance since some vaccinations would be covered by insurance. The staff were friendly and professional. The pharmacist was very thorough in explaining the after effects on each vaccine, and she was amazing at giving the shots! She used a squeezing technique on my arm while giving the injections and I seriously did not feel it! It was over before I knew it! Will definitely come back if I am in need of more vaccinations. read more

This place is under new ownership and because of that they are scrambling to get up and running. Every time I've been here the line is out the door and every single customer is pissed off! Due to the place just not having it together. They have super long wait times and it seems like they never have the medication in stock. People end up leaving here without the medication that they need and having to wait for days. Before new ownership this place never had anoong line, angry customers and they always had there medication in stock. Josh was loved by all and his customer based was treated like family. Now customers are dropping like flies and having no choice but to transfer elsewhere. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Unless you want to do without your medication and have your health affected then go elsewhere. read more

Unfortunately received one less dose of my prescription, and notified immediately both the day of pick up and the following day to ensure the issue would be resolved (the pharmacist said this was not a problem). The pharmacist informed me that they keep one or two extra doses for "emergency" and/or situations like this. No one called back for 10 days, and the story switched multiple times. They decided that I must have lost the dose, even though I notified them at pick up and it was a sealed bag and unopened. Insisted on my paying for an entirely new prescription to have the final dose replaced. When discussing my concerns with one of the head pharmacist, Josh, he continued to speak vulgarly and out of line on the phone and hang up on me multiple times. He also ordered other employees to not give any information to me. I informed them that this was a violation of California law and I would have to report this unfortunate situation. Such a shame that they prioritize money and would prefer to lie and scam in order to do so. After speaking with my Dr, turns out they also incorrectly filled my other prescription, after telling me the Dr did not send directions or doses. Would highly recommend others to utilize a more qualified and honest compounding pharmacy. Best of luck to them in the future and all their clients. read more

They take the time to explain things and answer questions, but most importantly they treat you with respect and compassion. I highly recommend this pharmacy, especially if you are having difficulty finding the medication that you need. My only complaint isn't even really a complaint. This review only reflects the pharmacist named Paul. I had an issue with a 10 week medication not be available until 11 weeks after a pickup date, coupled with supply chain issues caused me to be miss an entire week of dosing on a CRITICAL MEDICATION for my health, and through attempting to gain clarification on how to fix the issue with other kindergarten staff, the pharmacist Paul came out to tell me I was wrong before launching into a laundry list of stating his way was right without attempting to explain the discrepancy. He called me rude, and every attempt at trying to explain my concerns he interrupted me with his credentials etc. He refused to discuss how he got his rationale or attempting to provide explanation. All he said was "because I'm the pharmacist I pick and choose when things are filled and I can CHOOSE TO not fill it at all of you continue to argue" when his client is asking for a simple explanation on a medication that is essential for my health. Paul is extremely unprofessional, and even as I attempted to apologize to other staff stating I was not attempting to cause a problem but just trying to figure out a solution. Josh, Rachael, the technicians, and EVERYONE ELSE is phenomenal, amazing, dedicated to their job, and try to make patients life easier not harder. Paul decided I needed to be lectured about what he felt, that he was offended I could question AI and or his math skills, and he listed all his years of practicing as a pharmacist as a reason as to why he couldn't be wrong. I attempted to speak with other staff and asked "What can I do with my doctor to resolve this because I am missing a dose" and was just refused any explanation. I hope this pharmacist can be addressed because if he stays it will discourage me from using them in the future. read more

If you are looking to get a Covid vaccine this is the wrong place to go. Myself and 7 other friends of mine went there for our boosters and they provided the shots quickly. When we ALL went to add them to our wallets, they did not show up. A friend and I went back a few weeks later to question this, they said that they would send it again. Again nothing showed on the website. We went back and asked again. They said they will fix it but, we waited and still nothing. It has been 7 months now and still we get the run around from them. If you don't want the information to show up on the state website or show in your wallet then this is the place to go. read more

I was referred to this pharmacy by a friend during an awful time in my life last fall and they have taken very good care of me now for half a year. I never have had to wait more then 10 minutes from script to checkout and they immediately seemed to go out of their way to remember my name when I stopped by, making sure I knew I was acknowledged and appreciated which is very rare these days! I usually go on weekday mornings so I don't know if they get a "rush" in the afternoons, but in my case, there is never more then one customer ahead of me. I have only just started using this pharmacy after having a very very very negative experience at Kanan Pharmacy in Agoura Hills. I am extremely happy with the service I have received at Lynnoaks pharmacy. They are very quick. I never spend more than five minutes in there and they are so polite and helpful They are willing to do pretty much anything you need and with a smile on their face. I am definitely using this as my Number one Pharmacy from now on. Everything will go through them I have found a new home for medications LOL. Great Pharmacy great people they have my highest recommendation. If I could say anything that needs improvement it would be to have open hours on Sunday, but at least they do have some hours on Saturday which is great so other than that they are outstanding! read more

The staff was extremely helpful and kind during the entire process of consultation, explanation of the medications, processing our insurance, and actually administering the shots. I was somewhat nervous but Joshua did everything in his power to make it as quick and painless as possible. Afterwards I joked with my boyfriend about treating me to a snack from the counter as a reward, and they generously offered us each to take one on the house. Caution using this Pharmacy. They wnated more than what was already paid. His exuse was he misunderstood when I called. However when I presented my Rx showing it was pre-paid, tech took it and stated a wait time of 15 minutes. They messaged me when it was ready for pick up. Then they said I owed them more than originally paid. When I showed them the receipt (which I presented at the time it was ordered), Pharmacist said he doesn't accecpt the drug service I use. Hands down, Lynn Oaks Pharmacy is the BEST Pharmacy in all of the Conejo Valley! Shirley and her crew are friendly, knowledgeable about the medicines they are providing you with, and most importantly, they are incredibly quick in filling your Rx. Even on their BUSIEST days, I don't think I've ever had to wait more than 15 minutes. In fact, on average, the prescription is filled and ready in under 10 minutes. Compared to other pharmacies in the area, especially CVS, their turnaround times put them all to shame! I'vr brought Rx's to be filled at cvs, and even though I'm the only person, of maybe myself and a few more, they'll tell me that they need at least 5 or 6 hours to fill it! And this I with 4 or so pharmacist working behind the counter! While at Lynn Oaks, with maybe two pharmacist plus one on the register, they go right to work on filling it for you. Lynn Oaks also offers compounding and delivery too. And on the off chance they don't have the medicine you need in stock, they usually will have it to you by early the next day. I've come to know everyone who works here on a personal level. I can say without a doubt the employees- Anthony, Karen, Dorothy, and Shirley- are the most sincere, compassionate, hard-working people I've met in pharmacy. All of the employees (especially the lead tech Anthony) have impeccable patient rapport, taking the time to hear whatever issue the patient may have whether medical or personal, and helping in anyway they can to rectify it. This level of empathy and personal care/rapport is missing from major chain retail pharmacies like Walgreens, CVS, and Target. Lynn Oaks Compounding Pharmacy is the best patient advocate for the following reasons: 1) Proactively submit refill requests and monitor patient's fill records to insure no gaps in care, while adhering to laws and regulations. 2) Work with prescribers and health plans/PBMs to minimize the out-of-pocket costs for the patient, as much as possible. 3) Constantly advancing patient care through the implementation of new services and technologies- compounding, patient smartphone notifications, immunizations, synchronization programs, pharmacogenomics testing, and iMedicare. Even if you're not quite sure you're ready to utilize these services yet, just have your medications filled here and you'll have a substantially better experience here than a chain pharmacy. As opposed to being lost in the mass at a chain store like CVS (which may have wait times of at least 30-45 minutes at some locations) Lynn Oaks Compounding Pharmacy appropriately prioritizes patients and coordinates the filling of prescriptions to minimize wait times to on the order of 5-10 minutes (pending insurance is current and no miscellaneous issues). Had a great experience here as a student pharmacist working with Shirley and the rest of the staff! This pharmacy really cares about its patients and their well-being with regards to not only their medications, but overall health. The technicians are efficient and knowledgeable about medications, insurance companies, and show an active interest in getting to know each and every patient. During my rotation, we also compounded for pets and other types of medications that aren't available at other pharmacies. Both Shirley, the owner, and the other pharmacists really showed an interest in teaching me as much as they could about being a community pharmacist. I don't write many reviews. I only do so when I am extremely impressed. What a great pharmacy. I had an Rx compounded for my cat at All Med Drugs in Thousand Oaks. Not a good experience! When I needed to get another bottle, I went to Lynn Oaks. The pharmacist is super nice and asked if I wanted to wait about 10 minutes for him to compound the Rx. Such quick service was a nice surprise. Unlike my previous experience, he put the liquid in a bottle that has a cap into which you can insert the tip of the syringe, turn the bottle upside down, and precisely draw the liquid without waste or mess. He also gave me a couple of syringes and offered to show me how to use the bottle. To top it all off, the cost was $36.90 compared to All Med's price of $50.00. That was just icing on the cake.
