The Pony is a great spot to grab dinner or go for drinks in Pemberton…read more My friend and I came for dinner on a Saturday night at 8 pm and the whole place was hopping. This seems to be the place to be on a Saturday night in Pemberton! We snagged one of the last empty tables. They have a large selection of alcohol, from cocktails to beers and wine. I was impressed by the diversity of the food menu as well. Not only do they have standard pub food like burgers and sandwiches, wings, pizza, fish and chips, etc., but they also have a selection of Asian dishes like chow mein and Thai curry. Aside from the standard menu, they also offer daily specials which are written on a blackboard. When we came, they had seafood chowder, Korean pork pizza, and rigatoni pasta on the specials board. We shared the shiitake chow mein with chicken added ($17.50 + $5 for the chicken) and a custom pizza with tomato slices and oregano ($19.50). Both were solid, and we left very full and satisfied. We ended up taking some of the pizza and noodles home as leftovers, as the portions were big, especially for the pizza.

It's located next to a bike shop, so go in and peruse, and head next door for some delicious sandwiches. I LOVED my gyro and the poutine was pretty good. But to me, even bad poutine is good, so take that for what it's worth. The burgers are small but stacked, and I liked the pear cider. We did get dessert and while simple, they were pretty good. Service was great, if not a biiiiiiit slow, but we were the first table in there right upon opening, so they were still sort of getting things ready. It was summer, doors were open, and yes there were some flies, but that's kind of what you get in the PNW summers. Don't let it deter you - it's got some gems on the menu.

Great restaurant in a great hotel! Loved the buffet that they offer to their guests everyday…read more Although we were a little unlucky to have hit the closures for one day but we got a good compensation in the form of skillet breakfast. Starting with the buffet, it was vast with varieties of breads, live omelet counter, a chocolate fountain (every kid's AND adult's dream breakfast item!), fruits, roasted veggies, pancakes, salad bar, hummus, even dumplings! mini burritos, the quintessential sausage, eggs, pastries etc. The spinach feta danish and the mini burrito really stood out The quantity was awesome, taste was good too although I would not say top notch. Coming to the skillet breakfast in lieu of the buffet contained, eggs, potatoes, beautifully buttered and toasted sourdough, tomato, hashbrown, avocado, chicken sausage, chocolate croissant, latte, all of which was awesome with the exception of the sausage which was average. The quantity of the food was not a lot since we were hungry within hours whereas the buffet food was so much that we did not need to eat till dinner! The service was top notch, great ambience with the mountain view, a fireplace, pretty seating.

A tad disappointed, the bartender was quick to cheer me up with a one (with baileys and kahlua of course). The presentation and taste were amazing. I'll be dreaming about it on cold days. We had a few other drinks and all were exceptional. The staff was very attentive ensuring we had snacks, waters, and were happy with our drinks. We will definitely make this an annual stop when coming to Whistler. Highly recommend.

First, there's plenty of seating. You come in, get a menu, seat yourself, and when you're ready, order at the counter. They will bring your food to you. We got a table outside in the sun. We ordered the Grants Platter for Two and shared it between three hungry adults and we still had a lot of leftovers (which were super tasty later)! My favorites from this platter were the brisket (so tender and just the right amount of smokiness) and the chicken wings with dry rub (fried to crispy perfection). The ribs and pulled pork were also really good, but since I prefer my barbecue without sauce, these didn't appeal to me as much as the brisket. I also liked the fresh and tasty mixed greens salad that we got as one of our sides--very balanced and delicious. The staff are super friendly here. Our waiter checked on us several times and even the chef came out to see if we liked the food. It was a wonderful lunch. If you're looking for a great meal in Whistler, definitely check out Hunter Gather!

We'd definitely come back again the next time we were in Whistler. We really enjoyed the outdoor seating.

It's rustic in that honest, country way: wood, warmth, and a smallish-town Squamish vibe that makes you slow down whether you meant to or not. The location does half the work for the ambiance, the rest comes from the feeling that someone actually cares about feeding you well. This is home-cooked brunch with intention. Portions are generous without being sloppy, and every plate feels thought out, like it's been tested by real people who eat breakfast for a living. The pancakes are the headline act--huge, fluffy, unapologetic, and exactly what you want when you're leaning back in your chair wondering if you should order another coffee or surrender to a food coma. And if the night before got a little loose, the double Caesar is a public service: bracing, restorative, and delivered without judgment - oh my aching head. What really seals it, though, is the staff--genuinely welcoming, on their game, and clearly proud of the place. The Crabapple Café isn't trying to be trendy or precious. It's just very good at what it does. A must-try in Squamish, especially if you believe breakfast should be comforting, filling, and a little bit healing. This is not our first time, and definitely not our last. The cafe has become our way station before heading up to Whistler. CHEERS!!!
