The way they ensure the home is sparkling clean is only the bare minimum of what they do. What makes Team Lyptus special is the thoughtful, personalized touches--the bouquets of flowers and eucalyptus, the nice-smelling candles, and sometimes even snacks. Team Lyptus has a way of making your home shine to its fullest potential in a way that lets you know they're not just a cleaning service; they're a comprehensive home care service. What's also nice is just how personalized the experience can be. If you are sensitive to fragrances, they'll avoid fragrances. If you prefer to only focus on certain areas and avoid others, they'll respect your wishes--communication is absolutely key with them. Despite our home being a perpetual mess every time they come, we've never been made to feel bad or judged about it. Team Lyptus just comes, does their magic, and leaves our home a better place. The one suggestion I have for interested folks is to respect the ground rules that Team Lyptus lays down, as they are strict about them. They are pretty basic policies to ensure the team's safety and efficiency, but some people may require more flexibility that might make Lyptus not the best fit. I asked for a deep clean and he cleaned things I never even bothered cleaning before (and this is coming from someone who likes to clean and just sometimes doesn't have the time.) He also asked for my preferences when it came to fragrances and truly delivered, plus I feel like every time he comes he leaves a little pleasant surprise. I haven't had any issues with scheduling because my schedule is flexible and he always makes sure to communicate with me for any changes. I've been using Lyptus for about six months, and I'm genuinely obsessed; I often joke that I would give up everything else in my budget before I gave up Lyptus. They're so much more than a cleaning service; it's more like a full home refresh. I'm so particular about the aesthetics of my studio apartment, and I give the Lyptus team free rein because I trust them completely to clean, creatively organize, and style the space. I have never, not once, been disappointed, if anything they keep raising the bar with each visit. To give an example- I have a Frida Kahlo/Diego Rivera art book on my coffee table that features a lot of calla lilies in paintings; on top of displaying it in a cool way on my table, Lyptus started bringing calla lilies to my cleanings and making these gorgeous floral arrangements. Their attention to detail is out of this world, no nook or cranny is ever left untouched, they listen when I have special requests (like a window focus, etc), and they're easy and fun to communicate with. We use Lyptus for monthly home care and couldn't be happier! There is a clear difference between "cleaning" and "homecare". The homecare services that Lyptus provides feels more like having your very own personal assistant / cleaning / spa / design guru swoop into your home and make magic happen. They follow any directives on specific areas of focus, but TRULY shine when given the trust to have creative liberties. Every time we come home after a Lyptus Day (as we call it), feels like coming home to a new space. I allow them to have free rein because their subtle decor arrangements keep my tiny NY apt feeling new and draws the eyes and focus to pieces we forget we even have. There are personal touches with fragrances (if you like), candles, flowers, and often sweet surprises (random homemade caramel corn snacks?! Yes please!). Coming home to an apartment that is not only spectacularly clean but also organized and cozy with fresh flowers and candles is priceless. I have been a loyal and happy Lyptus client since 2021. I've had many cleaning services in my years in NYC and Lyptus is my #1. They are trustworthy, thorough, hard working and dedicated. We are a family of five in a three bedroom three bathroom apartment on UES. When I come home after the apartment is always sparkling clean and there is always a unique creative added twist, whether that be flower arrangement, Eucalyptus in the shower, a drawer unexpectedly rearranged, and that familiar Lyptus original scent. I have read all previous reviews and yes, I can imagine most are true. With anyone who is top in their field, you can expect a bit of temperamentally. How I avoid this is simply to pay when I schedule a cleaning, It is easy to just to abide by the rules and you will have the best cleaning service in town. We recently moved into an older apartment that hadn't been truly clean in years, and asked Justin to do a deep clean of the space. We came back and the place is absolutely transformed - Justin was able to get out spots and stains that I had given up on long ago, and every surface and floor was sparkling clean. I especially appreciated his eye for organization and design; he shuffled around some things in the office proactively that look a lot better now than they did before. He also came with plenty of thoughtful touches, like small candles, eucalyptus bundles for the bathroom, flowers, and sweet treats! The team is responsive, transparent on pricing, and professional. Each and every time I have returned home it feels like I'm walking into a brand new apartment - it's spotless, and we are often welcomed with lovely floral arrangements and candles. Spotless is also not an over exaggeration, I'm consistently impressed with hard to clean areas such as kitchen/bathrooms. As an example, the first time that I came home I was expecting to see a clean stove top. The last minute rescheduling was an inconvenience as I have a small child. I worked with him to accommodate his needed changes but this wasn't enough unfortunately.
