The staff was so kind and helpful here! This was my first time stepping into Läderach Chocolatier Suisse and buying some chocolate. Läderach took over 34 of Godiva's leases in the U.S., after Godiva closed all of their brick & mortar locations. We tried a few of their chocolates but ended up going with the milk chocolate hazelnut to take home! Very delicious. I also got one of the truffles/bonbon to try: pralines pravé Trinidad and I'm excited to try it later. Our total was ~$16 for both items. They have a lot of options to choose from, which I love! Everything seems to be well made & tasty. One of my favorites we tried was a strawberry chocolate & seemed like they used real sun dried strawberries to make it. I always walk by their location in Braintree but never tried it since they took over the Godiva store. Today i walked by the location at prudential and there was a gentleman outside with milk choco - hazelnut bars broken up for samples. I said "hey i love that particular combo" so agreed to take a sample. Went back about 20 min later with the lady and bought a a broken chunk from their large slabs. I honestly don't have receipt but forget if it was 4oz or 8oz haha i ate it already. It was 16 bucks. The lady opted for a fudge cube pralines pavè Trinidad. They checked us out gave us nice bag and packaging and we were out. The choco sampling did it for me expensive yes but it was so clean and good. I'd get it occasionally in the future. Don't be afraid to ask for samples, they'll gladly let u try (at least the big slab ones) not sure about the Bon Bon style ones. read more

My absolute fav chocolate store! Yes it's pricey but it's quality chocolate! Whenever i'm at Prudential center, i always stop by. I like that they can give you samples, though honestly i want to sample them all! I haven't tried anything there that i didn't like/love. My fav/go-to purchases are hazelnut milk chocolate and the Dubai chocolate. read more

Don't let the crowd detour you. It's busy for a reason! I stopped by to get a free sample, and it was so good, I decided to get a box of the truffles. Service was fast and friendly despite the crowd. The price for what I got was on point with other chocolatiers. The flavor combos are delicious. Next time I need a gift for a chocolate lover, I'm coming here. Fancy Switzerland chocolate. You can ask for a sample of the chocolate you want to buy just to make sure you'll like what you buy. They're pretty nice. I tried a couple of different ones. Anything with white chocolate seems too sweet for me. The dark and milk chocolate are better. I ended up buying dark chocolate with strawberry and Milk Chocolate with florentine. The Dark chocolate with strawberry is perfect for anyone that doesn't like sweets because it's tart and only slightly sweet. The Milk Chocolate with florentine is a little sweeter but not bad. It has a nice crunch from the florentine like eating toffee. read more

Saw a small mouse this morning (1/14/2026 at around 9am) running out of Laderach chocolate store this morning. It ran across the hall and then squeezed under door of clothing store across the hall. I looked in the Laderach store (which was closed) and saw slabs of chocolate covered only by white paper. I guess the mouse likes the chocolate. read more

If this Chocolate Store would have been in a mall at home, I would have kept walking. BUT, we were in the area for a staycation and were craving chocolate. Lucky them! This! I was so excited when I passed by this store in Boston. I'd never seen it before and the display was alluring that it made me want to come inside and check out the assortment of chocolates. I wasn't disappointed as I was offered some samples of the pieces that interested me. My favorites were the white chocolate with pistachios and the other one I believe a white chocolate mixed with raspberries ! Wow!! The lady at the front Rachel was very knowledgeable and kind. Love this location, it's probably one of the larger Laderach chocolate shops I've come across (comparing to Union Station in DC and South Shore Plaza Mall) but they have an amazing selection including some wrapped chocolate boxes that were PERFECT as gifts for relatives. The employees are also very caring and want to help, but aren't overbearing in any way. Definitely great for selection - trying out some Pralines after buying everything else, and hoping others love the brand as much as I do! read more

In the Prudential Center Mall which happens to be attached to the Sheraton hotel hubby and I were staying at. Amazing service - personal and attentive. The truffles are to die for, but with such a huge assortment to choose from, it's hard to decide on which to buy! We bought gifts for family and friends- it seemed to take no time at all to spend $250 - but you get what you pay for. One of the most premium chocolate stores we've ever been in and will certainly come back next time we're in Boston. read more

This place is insanely expensive, but the chocolate is also insanely good. It's very tough to rationalize the crazy premium you pay for it, but at least the chocolate is basically the best you'll ever have. Like Willy Wonka himself is in the back making it with all of his Oompa Loompa's. It really is very good. Lol, I guess I just wish they would just do us all a solid and lower the cost! Also, a lot of the people who come in here are complete snobs. I hope they pay their employees well to deal with the constant self-centered Bond villains that frequent this place. Maybe just charge those people extra and charge friendly people a reasonable price. read more
