Yay I finally got the Dubai chocolate that was so viral! Very happy I came here and finally succumb to the stress of getting an expensive piece of chocolate ($20). It was very nicely package and I was very excited and when I got home, I ate it and here is my thoughts on it. It's very delicious and this will probably go well with a scoop of ice cream as it was very much recommended by employee at this location. Thank you for the suggestion. I came here to try the viral Dubai chocolate. I got 2 of the chocolate bars and they were delicious. The texture along with the flavor of the Dubai chocolate blended nicely. The Dubai strawberry cup became one of my favorite desserts I ever had. They have a whole station set up in the back where you can decided what kind of chocolate you want. The staff were very energetic and pleasant. The cup was very creamy and tart providing a great combination. Overall, the store had many creative different options to try. There are currently two Nuts Factory locations in Boston, this one in Beacon Hill Charles St & Newbury St! They have a large selection of all the nuts you can think of and want. These nuts come in different flavors which is great if you're looking for a healthy-ish snack, though none of it is actually all that healthy... more like treats with a lil' crunch to them. In all honesty, I have walked by both locations dozens of times and have never walked in until today. I was on a mission to find the TikTok viral "Dubai Chocolate Bar", which has been trending for a few months now. I saw a post stating that the Nuts Factory in NYC Manhattan has started selling Dubai Chocolate and initially I thought to myself, "hmm, when's the next time I'm available to go to NY for a day trip to see what the hype is about?" THEN, I came to realization moments later that OMG THERE'S LITERALLY TWO IN BOSTON. This one on Charles St was more convenient to me today , as it is only a few minutes walk from work. Anyways, I ended up walking over during my break and LO AND BEHOLD, there was even a sign advertising that they do indeed have the Dubai Kunafa Chocolate!! And I am not even gonna lie, I was so giddy. They had just gotten stock of these chocolates today so there was plenty & no limit for how many bars per person. Ringing in at $18.95 ($20 after tax)... this was definitely an indulgence. Most expensive chocolate bar I have probably ever purchased lol. Taste: Dubai chocolate is milk chocolate stuffed with kataifi pastry & pistachio butter. Kataifi is the component that makes this chocolate have a crunchy texture. It is a popular ingredient used in Mediterranean + Middle Eastern desserts, like baklava for example. Okay, but the hype is real... this chocolate tastes absolutely incredible. The crunchiness from the kataifi & creamy goodness from the pistachio butter PLUS with the milk chocolate... I understand, I get it now. So, if you have read this far into my review, you're probably wondering if it is worth the cost of $20. Each bar has 10 pieces, $2/piece. I believe that it is still an expensive bar of chocolate. For some, the price is justifiable, for others, its not worth it. For me, I can see myself getting this occasionally. It is not too sweet either. I'd just buy one bar first to try & see if you like it. It is really good. I had only one piece earlier and it was enough because it does have filling inside. Overall, I had a pleasant experience here at Nuts Factory and recommend visiting ! It is very different from your usual candy or nuts shop. Went on a random drive up to the city. It's was cold but for the name of food and snacks we still went. Decided to try the viral chocolate that I see online. Plus got some nuts for hubby who drove us after he went to work. It was pretty quick since there's not much people waiting in line. I chose the milk chocolate for it I also got to choose which cup of strawberry I wanted to get. We went in line to pay. It wasn't cheap but I guess it was worth it. I'm like, "ooooh, nuts - let's check it out!" We walk in and it's like stepping into the Sugar Heaven equivalent of the nut world. Rows and rows of all sorts of nuts with all sorts of interesting flavorings: BBQ cashews, candied almonds, spicy pistachios, pretzel-covered pecans, and even tiramisu-coated almonds. But it didn't just stop at nuts! They've got dozens of types of dried fruit, gummies, spices, and more. I dipped my toe in the water on this visit with the candied cashews but went back a couple days later and put together a sampling of several other coated nuts (cocoa-coated walnuts are my favorite so far). The place is super well lit and everything was clearly labeled and easily viewable (see pics). The store had been open for less than a week and it was packed! So the word is out on this transplant from New York City (six NY locations, plus 3 in NJ and a PA shop). But don't worry - they're not gonna run out of YOUR faves. So do yourself a favor - skip "No Nut November" this year ;) and get down to Nuts Factory for your fix. read more

Bought 1 piece of milk chocolate almond bark and 1 chocolate (?) covered pretzel studded with stale praline or something of that nature. For those 2 items I spent $13.64. The milk chocolate almond bark was disappointing to the extent that the chocolate was devoid of any flavor. The description claimed the chocolate to be from Belgium but I've had several varieties of Belgian milk chocolate and this wasn't it. The almonds were plentiful but that was the only plus. The pretzel coated with something brown that resembled chocolate was stale in that it tasted like it was exposed to too much air inasmuch as the lucite box it was in wasn't airtight. Stay away. This store on Newbury Street makes me so happy!! They have such a large variety of different flavored cashews!! They offer some samples at the front too. Cashews are amazing! They have great flavor and a nice crunch to them. We got the Zarchar, Curry, Everything, Garlic, Chimichurri, and salt & pepper flavors. All of them were delicious, some more flavorful than others. My favorites are the zar char and everything flavors. From cashews, pistachios, almonds, peanuts, pecans, to Japanese rice crackers, dried fava beans, and even candy - they have everything you could want. I've never found a place with such a large variety of flavors!! I will say though that they have limited flavors of almonds and some other nuts, but their cashew selection felt endless. read more

The only thing good about this place is the fresh strawberries with chocolate that they serve right in front of you. However the price was $15 for those so keep that in mind. If you get any additional toppings they can go up to $19+. The gentleman running the stand was very kind and walked me through all the options. He was the redeeming factor about this experience. The rest of the items I got were stale. I got baklava and I purchased two different types of a special type of Oreo flavor that is not released in the USA (just one sleeve each for the two different flavors) and they charged me $7 for it. They didn't ring it in as Oreos they rang it in as "New Chocolate Bar Prepack". Just be aware of what they are charging you for. Not sure what the actual cost of them were since I clearly got charged for a different item. I confronted the staff member at the register who was ringing me up about the item that was rung in vs the item I was getting and he still insisted the Oreos were $7. It's not like they were speciality Oreos with chocolate covering or toppings or whatnot. They were just in a sleeve directly from the factory. I was so stressed on getting a Dubai chocolate bar, and even paid extra to reserve one because I personally know the owner. Much to my horror, when I asked the cashier, they said that they had sold out. As it turned out, they are so outrageously popular that people would cut lines and rob others for one. As it happened, someone else who knew the owner paid more than double what I had, and THEY god the goddamn bar instead. I have come back nearly EVERY single day, and EVERY time, they are sold out of Dubai chocolate! And the other day, I went there and the person in front of me decided to be the most selfish person in the universe and bought the last SIX Dubai chocolate bars! I was so desperate that I actually stole one from him. They called the police, and they actually weren't surprised I had done that, because I have heard of people getting stabbed for one. For instance, in Chicago, my friend was robbed at knifepoint for a literal Dubai chocolate bar. Recommendation: PLEASE limit one Dubai chocolate bar per person. So there are actually two Nuts Factory locations in Boston now--one in Beacon Hill and one on Newbury Street. I've noticed people are reviewing both in this listing. The store on Beacon Hill is much larger and encourages sampling of all the nuts they have on offer. The one on Newbury Street has more limited offerings and signage does not mention the ability to sample the nuts at all. I've tried most of the sweet nut offerings here and make sure to buy a bag every time I visit Boston. My favorites are any of the halva-coated offerings, but especially the halva-coated pecans and cashews (you can only find these two at the Beacon Hill location). The halva itself is just amazing. The pretzel-coated nuts are quite good as well. It's not cheap, but for the quality of the nuts and the fact that you can't find these offerings anywhere else in the city, it's well worth it. read more

So first of all the guy that I think it might have been the manager there wasn't nice at all. He had this attitude and a disrespectful tone. Me and my friend saw this sign that said you could get 20% off if you sign up on their app. The register guy asked the manager(idk if he was) he just straight up look us in the face and said "no you can't get a discount for the strawberry Dubai chocolate" again with a disrespectful tone. Absolutely abysmal quality. The gummy candies were stale, hard, and tasted like bubble gum. The chocolate covered espresso beans tasted hard, yet brittle, like we were chewing plastic.
