Located in the Back Bay Area of Boston, what can be bad about a chocolatier with a huge variety of Lindor truffle flavors. Absolutely nothing!!! So many flavors, so little time. When we came they were sampling original and maple (which surprisingly was not too much). Staff is friendly and helpful. They do have more than the truffles but I'm committed to the truffle so I did not stray. However I was able to get a bunch of flavors I haven't tried before (matcha, cheesecake, pistachio, oatmilk nondairy, extra extra dark, etc). It's a bit pricey, kind of to be expected, probably best to take advantage of whatever deals or specials they have (bogo, discount for larger volume, etc). read more

I even had the chance to visit their factory in Switzerland, and it was an amazing experience. The presentations, the flavors, everything they offer is incredible. Delicious creamy chocolate! Have always loved the Lindt balls but the barks are amazing! Well located in Back Bay on Exeter & Boylston corner. Tries the ice cream last time and was luxurious. They really know what they are doing. Is this their headquarter store in the US? I read about their commitment to buying Fair Trade cocoa beans (there is a lot of slave labor in the industry!) Lots of other chocolate bars do not support Fair Trade standards and therefore are enabling child labor and slave labor. I always check the company policies. Wrapped bars usually have a FT logo on the package. Check them out. read more

Service was very nice and openly passed out samples and encouraged to try the different flavors. Stopped in on my birthday and was treated to the box variety I believe was $30/40. A lot of new flavors: birthday cake, raspberry and cream, mango meringue...of course got a few of each I believe the limit was 50 pieces. read more

Food: Always get the chocolate ice cream whenever I visit! Rich, creamy, and inexpensive compared to scooped ice cream shops. They fill the bottom of the cone with Lindt chocolate as well! Also bought some chocolate truffles and they have nice packaging options to choose from, if you decide to gift it. Ambiance: The store itself is very well kept and organized. The lady working the counter is always super sweet and accommodating. We were the first customers of the day and bought an ice cream cone but the ice cream machine wasn't set up yet. And when she tried to make us a cone, the ice cream was still a bit melted so she gave us that slightly melted cone as well as a fully set cone! Stopped in on Sunday 20th to get a few Lindor Balls to decorate a dessert I am making this week, and realized I would need more than "a few" because I will definitely eat at least 5. The beauty of going to the stores is that there is a huge assortment, so you can get the flavor(s) you want and not be stuck with any you don't really like (but if you are me, you would probably eat them anyhow). My favorite are the coconut balls, and the nice blue wrappers will look great on the platter (or hiding in the trash if I eat them all). Great COVID policies in the store including a staff member handing out disposable gloves before you handle anything, and the guy at the register was nice as well (and signed me up for a rewards account since he couldn't locate my old one). I also tried a sample of the mint cookie balls (I think that was it in the red, white and green wrapper) which was delicious! read more

Their unique chocolate barks are of the highest quality here and abroad--even better than Läderach! I highly recommend the barks and boxed thin squares (milk or dark). The orange flavor is the best but is seasonal. read more

You're not going to get a great deal on chocolate and candies here - but the selection of lindt candy really is unparalleled. As you walk in, the smell of chocolate isn't so much wafting through the air as it is smacking you in the face and dragging you to the counter with suddenly a bit more candy than you meant to buy. Hi there! Welcome to Lindt! Would you like a truffle? That's how I was greeted last week at this lovely location. I of course, accepted that lovely truffle of melt in your mouth goodness. Last week I came here on a mission: getting a gift for my manager. I saw online that 75 assorted truffles were for $25. And if I got two 75-count bags, it would cost $40. Buy 3 75-count bags and you get two bags free. What? You CAN'T wave that deal in my face and expect me not to indulge. You just can't, man. So I went ahead and bought two bags. Assorted flavors in a bag for my manager and then the same for me. In my boss's bag, I addded white chocolate, milk chocolate, sea salt caramel, strawberries and cream, irish cream, dark chocolate, and caramel. My bag included dark, milk, extra dark, sea salt caramel, caramel, citron (this tastes like key lime pie), raspberry, vanilla bean, and almond. Lovely flavors make a lovely gift. My indulgence was perfectly timed and I'm afraid I've had too much. And so I brought a ton of truffles to work so I could indulge my coworkers. My manager loved her gift and shared with everyone. It was perfect. Customer service was on point, and I had a fun time shopping for chocolate and gabbing with the staff. I even signed up for the rewards program. 1 point for every dollar you spend!! Biggest selection of Lindt chocolate I have seen in a store. The staff here were extremely nice and helpful, letting us take our time to view the variety of chocolate. One staff member even offered a sample of a truffle ball. I will say that the chocolates here are generally not cheap, but some of the cheapest options are their bars. This is a great pit stop if you are near the Boston Public Library/Boston Common. read more

Lindt may be the most accessible luxury chocolate, simply because of it's International distribution, and countless POP (point of purchase) truffle displays. I enjoy tucking into the comforting sweetness of the enticing, shiny, foil ball that is a Lindt chocolate truffle... especially when it *still* feels like "Monday"... even though I *know* it's already Wednesday. I like their chocolate bars, available in CVS & Rite Aid, but not as much as their world famous truffles. I find their DARK CHOCOLATE BARS a bit drier than most. read more

I wouldn't normally write a review for a place like this HOWEVER I was so disgusted by the service I received today that I had to write this. Before I begin I would like to point out that I have been to this place multiple times and have had pretty good experiences, but there is one employee who I just can't stand. I entered the store today (Saturday) and it was empty, no one in there but me. There were three employees, one behind the cash register and two hanging out around what I assume is some sort of break room. One of the women was talking on her phone and only after hanging up said welcome. Not a problem, I appreciate her saying hi. I grab what I want and head toward the cash register where another employee is standing. I didn't see a name tag on her and my receipt doesn't say her name either, but she was short with what I assume was a British accent. Anyway, I said hello and handed her what I wanted to purchase. There was no hello back, and she didn't even look up at me. She rang me up and, without looking at me, handed me my bag. I said thank you and she said NOTHING back. Are you kidding me? It gets worse. I was walking off when she YELLED across the room, as if I was walking off with stolen goods "MA'AM. MA'AM COME BACK YOU NEED TO SIGN THE RECEIPT." I have never been so horrified in my life. I walk back and, AGAIN WITHOUT LOOKING AT ME, she hands me receipt and pen. I sign it, SLAM it in front of her, and she FINALLY looks up and says thank you to me, as if it pained her to do so. And to end things off, as I walk out she walks over to some people who had just walked in, said hello, and offered them a chocolate. THANKS. I frequent this store A LOT. To say I love chocolate, and more specifically, that I love Lindt chocolate, would be an understatement. But I am sooo upset with the service I received today. This is nice because the chocolates are very good and not wildly expensive, like some other chocolate stores on Newbury street. The staff all seem to be uniformly friendly and helpful. I really do like they fact that they offer everyone who comes a complementary piece of chocolate. I tend to lean towards the truffles, and they have an amazing variety of them. You can mix and match your own set there which is fun. They usually have some chocolate bark and other variety available. It is a great location just a block off of Copley Square.
