A lot of people don't have nice things to say about this restaurant but I've been twice and enjoyed my food both times...so much so I forget to take photos. The lamb gyros and lamb souvlaki are excellence. I'm not a big fan of Greek style dips and spreads but they taste fresh. The vegetables and pita are fresh and tasty also. The place is pricy, but it's West Loop, I know I'm paying some for location and vibes. It doesn't feel like a club; no music. But it is social with people drinking and chatting and enjoying life.

Immediately when you walk in, the ambiance is beautiful! We made a reservation last minute, and was able to be seated in a few minutes. Definitely make a res if you plan to go here! Service: Nicole was a great server. Super attentive and never needed to look to get her attention because she came by frequently. Food: 10/10, we got the salata, spicy feta dip, crispy calamari, lobster pasta, lamb souvlaki, all were excellent!! The dessert was the cherry on top' Can't wait to come back here! May be our new nice date night spot!

My favorite thing -- an all day Sunday food and drink Happy Hour ! And it wasn't canceled during a special event like an Art Fair ! So that's how we came upon Lyra/ yesterday. Lovely bar, spacious dining room, nice patio. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. A few cocktails, a house red (Greek Cab-type), a house white (Spanish), oysters for $2/ea, several shareable apps and dips/spreads (including a low key, very salty saganaki). Interesting pillowy, almost naan-like pita. Great texture on the fried zucchini and eggplant-- not at all greasy or mushy. Interesting avocado tzatziki with dill dip. Everything we had was very good and looking forward to returning to sample the rest of the happy hour menu. The regular menu looks very good, albeit pricey (looking at you lamb souvlaki, gyro, deconstructed pastitsio). Large wine list with some very decent Greek wines.

Yeah it lives up to the hype! I came here with some friends for a little celebration and the vibes are great. I think my one complaint would be I was expected the towel swinging + more sparklers for how loud it was in there so at times it just felt like a REALLY LOUD place to be where you also ordered up scale mediterranean food... but other than that I won't complain because the food was delicious. To start, I got the drink with tequila which was stunning and beautiful. To start, we got the dips which came with veggies and pita and each one was delicious. We also tried the wagyu meatballs which were super tender, the spanokopita which is a classic and the calamari. For the entrees, we shared the chicken and the halibut both of which were delish. We ordered plenty of food and had a lovely evening!

This place is so cute! We were in the Fulton Market area and wanted some Mediterranean food. Interior is decorated beautifully with flowers. Service was a little slow - we waited ~45 minutes to get our entrees even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. It also felt like at times we were being ignored. :( That being said, everything was DELICIOUS. There was nothing that I didn't like. Pita was exceptional. Everything was nicely seasoned. The potatoes were amazing - cheese was delicious and melty. Chicken was grilled to perfection.

Excellent food - good service and great vibe. Minus one star because difficult to grab a waiter when sitting outside. The dips we got were so good - loved the whipped feta. The pita bread is excellent here. The dirty LÝRA martini is awesome. Did not try dessert but would definitely go back.

I came here for my friends birthday and absolutely loved it here. The food was absolutely delicious. We were here on a Sunday and they had their Sunday menu along with their all day happy hour, and it was the perfect amount of food. Everything was so flavorful! The restaurant is also gorgeous inside! I can't wait to come back

I don't really go out to Greek restaurants often but this place was really good. There were 10 people in our party and we ordered around 16 dishes. We ordered the breads and the spread and the pita was so warm and delicious! The spicy feta and the tzatziki were a hit. We ordered some horiatiki salata which was a nice and refreshing taste to balance all the heavy meats. If you want to try everything and people aren't picky, family style is the best! We started off with the crispy zucchini and egg plant. These were fried and more like veggie chips. Nonetheless the crunch with the dip was delectable. The waitress was so helpful and she served/cut each plate so everyone got to try one. The saganaki (Greek pan fried cheese) came out flamed! Such a show stopper and really delicious, dense cheese. We also ordered the slow roasted lamb gyros, charred octopus, bouzoukia potatoes, wagyu beef skewer, chicken skewer, grilled lamb skewer, grilled roasted chicken, and branzino. We ordered A LOT of food and every dish was so flavorful and packed a punch. Lastly, we finished it off with dessert with loukoumades which are Greek fried donuts. Such a sweet and warm dessert to end off an amazing meal. Truly impeccable service, vibes were amazing, and 10/10 would come here again!

Been here several times and it's a consistently solid meal! The reason you come back here is for the deconstructed short rib pasta - it's an unforgettable dish! The other call out dish were the lamb chops, which were cooked to perfection and super tasty. The table was mildly disappointed with the branzino, it was cooked well, but mild in taste. Everything else was a hit! Restaurant is super cool, bustling, and a great vibe. We were a larger table and seated in a back corner room, which unfortunately felt like an after thought. Definitely request sitting in the main dining room. Overall, a solid pick in Fulton Market. 4/5 stars

Galentine's at Lyra was such a vibe. They offered a prix fixe menu for the evening, and honestly, it was a solid experience for $129. The grilled octopus was superb, The fried zucchini, lamb chops, and the orange cake to finish. The atmosphere made it even better for a night out with the girls. Good food, great company, and a beautiful setting... exactly what Galentine's should feel like.

Came for brunch with my family and I loved the cute decor & summer vibes from there out door seating. I forgot to take a pic of the food but it was so good! The drinks were refreshing and delicious and our waiter was sweet and welcoming. The problem came after we received our bill, we like to guess how much our bill is for fun so when we received it we noticed it was way higher than expected($107 more to be exact) we then realized there were 5 drinks added to our tab that we never ordered. We brought it up to our waiters attention and he seemed confused. I'm not sure if he accidentally mixed the tables and included someone else's drinks to our tab, but he fixed the issue right away. I know things happen but just be very careful before handing your card and paying for someone else's drinks especially because it's not cheap here.

It was a team dinner so it was a bigger group. I am amazed at how fast they would have their food ready.Everything was so good & full of flavorful. From apps to dessert, we cannot complain --- there wasn't a dish that we did not like. Decor looked so authentic and it has an elevated vibe.

What is the difference between standard seating and The Villa - dining room with Mykonian Sunset vibe? Which one is better for a couple celebrating their anniversary?

The Villa is a private dining room area that requires a party of 12 or more. The Villa and The Kava provides an intimate dining experience for groups.

Do they have valet parking? Will they allow you to leave your car in front?

    Yes!

Is Lyra kid friendly? Can I bring a 3yo and 1yo to eat here? More concerned of the atmosphere than the food.

No, it's definitely an adult/clubby vibe

Do they have GF options? I only see a few sides on the menu that are but no main dishes.

ID remember cause I was back there in Feb.

    Is there valet parking?

    Yes and it's expensive... I paid $30

All the premier dinners come with salad, cheese, fondue, and the chocolate fondue - You are just choosing what protein you would like. The Prince Geja combination has a little bit of everything. However, we most liked the seafood which includes lobster and the scallops were to die for! Also the beef also cooks well. Favorite dipping sauce included the pimento mayo, chimichurri, and garlic butter. The cheese fondue is quite rich and the bread is quite filling so maybe get as much cheese as you can on each piece of bread. The chocolate fondue, I think is actually the best course as the Belgium chocolate melts so well and has a decadent but not overly sweet flavor. It pairs well with all that is provided for dipping, which includes poundcake, rice Krispies, strawberries. They also have some liquor that they light on fire at first so you can roast the marshmallows. It is such a well thought out experience. Service flows very well from two waiters who take your order set up your fondue pots for each course, but be prepared to spend at least 2 hours on this experience. Check out the Groupon but also I read a review that they just tack on the extra $50 so it's not really too much of a savings. Not sure if this is true.

I came here with three others and we all ordered different things from the brunch menu along with a few drinks. The atmosphere here is open, modern, and pretty eye catching, we all heard a few negative comments about brunch here and rather than just taking words of advice we came anyways. To be honest we should've went elsewhere, the only thing about the food that actually seemed to have any flavor was the fries and even they were a little salty like my wallet when we left LOL The Jumbo (not so much) Lump Crab Benedict at $25 was honestly boring lacking any flavor also it didn't even come with potatoes I ended up sharing my Lincoln Park Turkey Club that was good but even it was pretty basic at $21, the Burger at $21 literally looked like something off the kids menu the bun was bigger than the patty LOL and the Blackened Chicken Caesar at $19 was more like an appetizer size and the chicken at least it was juicy not dry. Other reviews about brunch here seem to be about the same and honestly I think it's funny they don't even try to elevate their food when so many say about the same things. I think the only reason why people come to this place is 1. It's located in Lincoln Park and 2. that makes it a trendy spot to eat. So why bother fixing anything when it's just trendy and flavorless Their brunch is mediocre but apparently dinner is where it's at. I really wanted to like it; this was a nine-year anniversary dinner. To echo several of the reviews below, the salad was awkward to share and scanty, the soup was good but the bread served with it felt like an afterthought, the sturgeon wasn't anything special though the sauce was quite good, and we are pretty sure the cut of beef was not wagyu or if it was it was not cooked the right way. The beef was the most disappointing part, I couldn't even chew through all of it. The add-ons were the best part - pasta was great and our dessert was delicious.
