My original mechanic was unable to diagnose the issue with my car and referred it here. Unfortunately, less than 24 hours after getting my vehicle back, it broke down again. Although the breakdown happened over the weekend, I contacted the shop immediately to inform them of the issue. I never received a follow-up call on Monday and had to reach out myself. I explained multiple times how urgently I needed my vehicle, especially as a single mother with no family nearby to help, and was repeatedly assured that the situation would be handled. When they asked me to tow the vehicle back to their shop at my own expense, I refused. Since the vehicle failed less than 24 hours after their repair, I felt they should take responsibility and arrange pickup--which they eventually did, but only after giving me the runaround all week. My car was not picked up until the following Saturday. I was then told that a transmission hose had been cut and that it would cost an additional $450 to repair, despite the same part being available online for much less. When I asked about the warranty on the original repair, I was told this new issue was not covered. To make matters more confusing, they initially claimed they didn't have the part, then suddenly "found" one--but would not begin work until payment was made. The entire process felt dishonest and inconsistent. Communication was poor, the pricing seemed questionable, and I never felt like I was being given transparent information. What was most concerning was being told I could pick up my vehicle if I left a "good" review. I left a 3-star review because I felt that was fair based on my experience. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was questioned about why I didn't leave 5 stars and was told they were "doing me a favor." No one was doing me a favor. My car should not have needed to return to the shop less than 24 hours after the initial repair. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
