My coworkers showed me this spot. It's across the street from our job. We went around 12:05pm and our food was prepared quick! I had the turkey bacon club sandwich and my coworkers had some pastrami and an Italian sandwich. I tried their sandwiches and had some of their fries, everything was so good! The meats were fresh and so was the veggies. I liked the size of the sandwich. I ate the rest of my sandwich at around 4pm and it still tasted fresh. The bread is soooo soft! I got the Jinee Club on squaw (it only comes on squaw) with no tomato or mustard and it was amazing!! The fried egg takes it over the top. It was $7.99 and was packed with meat. The bread was so soft and fresh and it was the perfect ratio of all the ingredients. DO YOURSELF a favor and stop by! The food here is good and cheap only paid around $13 for my meal+fries. The owner is very friendly and so are the other workers, had zero complaints service wise! I came here on a weekday for lunch and I can definitely say it's "the place to be" if you want a simple and calming lunch. M&M is such a great little deli sandwich place that makes you want to support the owners for being small business owners. Good for them! Environment - M&M is located in among a strip shop/ small commercial building along Chicago Ave. It'll be a bit easy to miss if you are not familiar with the area (like me... I ended up driving along the back side of the building lol oopsies!). If you are unfamiliar, I suggest you just pull into the parking towards the beginning of the drive and then slowly drive until you see the deli haha. Upon entering, you will notice that the restaurant is spacious and large! There are plenty of seating especially if you go on the weekday. No need to rush during lunch hour to get a seat. Many people also bring sandwiches home too! Yum. Service - The deli is owned by an older asian couple and they are super kind and nice. I love mom&pop shops. They will not hesitate to try their best to help you get your order right and delicious. They remind me of all the little deli/teriyaki shops haha I don't know why it's always them who are owning your typical "American" sandwich shops lol. Well it works out for everyone because they get to own a business and we get to eat delicious food. Yay! Food - $7-9 for sandwiches which is not bad considering everything is fresh! It's like they have a garden and farm in the back.. jk they don't (this was just to paint a picture in your mind). On the menu you get a variety of delicious foods to choose from from plates, to sandwiches and some breakfast things as well. Since I came for lunch I got a sandwich with friends.. and so did everyone else at my table haha 1) Minnie Club - a delicious blend of turkey breast, BLT topped with an egg and avocado. My friend who is their most popular customer recommended this sandwich and hands down, is the best deli sandwich I have tasted in a while. The portion was huge so I was only able to eat half. I saved the other half to eat two days later and it was still fresh/delicious... dude! Gotta get more. 2) Regular fries - your typical delicious deep-fried fries. I still have them in my fridge right now because the portion was too big to finish.. I cannot tell you if they're good after a couple of days but if they're anything like the sandwich then it's a go! 3) ANY SANDWICH DUDE - I don't think you can go wrong with ANY sandwich here. I highly recommend M&M if you want a fresh sandwich at a reasonable price ($7-9). I love that it's not such a well-known and hyped up place and it's more of a community sandwich shop if I may say. I work in the same complex as this place. My office loves it because they deliver and if the order is over $20 then there's no extra charge. They are family run, fast, efficient, honest and since I'm literally there every other day- I feel like the service is friendly. Hands down, the daily specials are the best deals- but the food is very reasonably priced. You can ask for alternative bread if the French roll is too much bread for your taste. I recommend the squaw and sourdough. The egg salad, tuna, turkey & cheese are my favorites. Also the grilled chicken salad is very good. If smoothies are your thing, theirs are great and huge- so make sure your really in the mood for one! The hamburgers are amazing (better than In-n-Out) fresh and only made better by the fries. A must have for any one who appreciates a good burger! They also have a breakfast menu and I have had the breakfast burrito. It's good, but so filling it can almost double as breakfast and lunch. The best deli in all of Riverside! I am a frequent customer of M&M for the last four years. The price is splendid for the amount of food you will get. There are plenty of good options available, and I haven't had a singular problem with any of their many menu options (only thing I haven't tried is their hamburger though). My favorite has to be the Jinee Club and the M&M special, but on days I'm not feeling for bread I enjoy ordering their teriyaki chicken. Be mindful that they don't have a lot of the teriyaki, so if you come in late they might have sold out! The owner of the establishment is a nice Korean man that is always willing to come out and bring you your food if he's not busy. The store is quite popular though, and in rush hour he just can't keep up. I think only one or two people work in the back so be mindful and don't take it to heart if they're rushing around. When things calms down, he is just the sweetest, nicest shop owner! Food is splendid, owner is splendid, I just love M&M! read more

Don't be alarmed when you enter the shop. The furnishings definitely need a bit of fixing and possibly, replacing. As for the food, I enjoyed an 8 in. roast beef sub without cheese and a small container of potato salad. I liked the spread they used, even though I wouldn't deem it anything, but ordinary. The only issue I had was that I was expecting the sub to be a bit more filling. Regardless, I was still quite content. Service was definitely slow, but who could blame them? There are only two cooks and third person that answers the phone, writes down the orders, and serves the tables. It was also super busy because it was lunch time. So patience is key. read more
