This is the worst pool maintenance company out there. They would not answer your emails or calls because they overextend themselves and won't have time for you. They will also double charge you for the subpar services they offer. They've just charged my credit card again even though I've emailed up a week ago to cancel the service! Most weeks they'd show up literally for 1 min to just check the chemicals levels and clean out the filters. I believe I've only seen them vacuuming the pool once when it was opened and we're in the middle of July now. While the guys who come in a great, the company is severely mismanaged and don't deserve to be in business with this level of service. I would shop elsewhere. read more

Disclaimer: This review is for those looking for pool services does not reflect how they build pools, as I do not have experience with the latter. Communication is dismal. The company will not call back unless you call multiple times and email as well. Sometimes no call back happens at all. The company does not specify which day they will service your pool even if you ask specifically to be notified of a day someone will be accessing your property. Oftentimes they would come whenever they please, sometimes after 6pm for servicing, which is inconvenient and inconsiderate. My pool pump malfunctioned last season, and they took my 5 year variable speed pool pump and placed a temporary used single speed to get me through the last few weeks of season. Which was nice in theory, however the replacement never worked, my other equipment (~5 years old) started leaking due to ill fitting "emergency pump". The company never gave me back my old pump and didn't let me keep the used replacement. There was also no communication about what was wrong with my original pump and I was not given the opportunity to take my expensive variable speed somewhere else to be fixed. Even if it was completely shot, it would have been nice for a second opinion. When I asked for it back, they said and I quote "The owners said they don't have your broken pump". No call back to discuss whatsoever. Would not recommend. read more

They built a lovely pool but everything from there was downhill. It's our first pool and after opening no one came over and told us how to run or manage, what to expect and what to do if we had issues. Our automatic water fill system was never set up. The billing was erratic, not on time and full of mistakes. It's September and I just got a bill for April for example. We have a lovely salt water pool and every week of the summer our red light indicating low salt flashed. We never once achieved the right salt level and were given excuses such a high humidity was impacting salt delivery. All Summer? End of August the weekly maintenance gentleman came and knocked on my door quite angry. He asked me to come outside and with the harshest tone told me i was overfilling the pool! Well i had no idea since no one told us what to do at set up and incredible after a full Summer of service he chose end of Summer to berate me for overfilling. The pool was left not closed 5 weeks after closing and no reply from the company. Half of the cover is submerged and this is a hazard with small children and a dog. Very very poor experience when you spend as much as you spend on a new pool. read more

We are new out east (this is our second summer) and we've had reliable service from M & M Pools since day 1. They are in fact the company that built our beautiful pool (before we purchased the house). The owner took the time to help me troubleshoot when the developer left out a key step in building out the propane connection to power the pool heater. I'm type A and like to know when we can have the pool opened / closed / ready for swimming and Gina is always incredibly responsive and accommodating. As for weekly maintenance, it happens smoothly and without issue. I love that I don't have to stay on top of the team or worry about billing. Anyways, you get the drift. I've dealt with more service companies out east than I can count on two hands... So I appreciate when I find a reliable one that keeps us happy. read more

The worst company. Did not call back after speaking to secretary twice AND leaving a message. Totally unprofessional. All the positive reviews must be fake because they have nothing to do with how this company actually operates. They could be total scammers also. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are awful! I feel sick thinking about them. Its been a week and a half and still no response. I wouldn't want to touch them with a ten foot pole. I feel sick thinking about them. I was with this company for nine years. This year I had to save my sanity by looking for another company. I could not take their severe lack of communication. I called twice but got someone who was just answering their phone. I was told someone would return my calls....didn't happen. I left a message on their answering machine.....no return call. I emailed them and stated I was looking to upgrade my stone surrounding my pool and would someone please call me..... no return call. I guess M&M Pools did not want my business. read more

M & M installed our beautiful pool this summer - it is absolutely stunning. While being very busy, they are very responsive and do not overcharge for their services. Any issues we had with materials, etc. were handled promptly and to our satisfaction, and the sub-contractors they brought in (like for masonry and pool cover) were very professional and at the top of their game. read more

Not only did they accommodate us with no interruption, they returned our pool to tip top condition in just a week. We used M&M looks last summer when we bought out house in Hampton Bays. We closed in April just post the beginning of Covid. JP promised our pool would be built and it was swim ready by first week in August. His craftsmanship is second to none and the pool exceeded expectations. We also use him for the weekly maintenance and his men are courteous and very professional. I highly recommend this company to all looking for building and maintenance of pools. read more

JP and Mike at M&M Pools are the best pool guys in the Hamptons bar none. Very responsive, great workers on their team, always make sure that the job is done right. We bought a new house last July and the pool was a disaster. Got a recommendation to use M&M and couldn't believe it when JP advised against getting a new liner - told us he'd nurse it through the season and he did! And they discounted service all year. This year we had them change out liner, light and heater at a great price. Pool looks brand new. Today the 15 year old filter motor seized. Called this morning and Mike came in with a new motor that they had "sitting in the shop" replaced it this afternoon and refused to charge us for it! Said that he hated to give us bad news after all of the work they did. Honest as the day is long. Use these guys for any pool - the absolute best! read more
