When I brought the car ac wasn't working made an appointment to get it fixed I took 3 times that supposedly they were sent the wrong part so finally they say it was fixed not even 3 months after I buy the car the Ac goes out again so I take it to my mechanic and he proceeded to tell me that they got the part for my car from a junk yard and didn't fix the problem now I can't get anyone to talk about a solution... this place is WACK read more

I am going to start this review as follows. Joe the salesman was nice, easy to work with no complaints. Jessica office manager easy to work with again no complaints. Now the issue. We bought on January 4th, 2021 a 2000 Honda CRV with 273,000 miles "as is" for 1750 dollars, two hundred off listed price. On January 11th, 2021 one week later the car started making a loud noise from front end. We thought maybe CV joints, but after getting it looked at at two different mechanics we were told the transmission went. Now, we bought car "as is" and we were told cash as is so, we know technically it's our problem and we get that. What we don't get is when we called Joe to explain what happen he said he would need to call the owner of the lot and see what he would do. Joe called back the owner's response was here is a name of a transmission mechanic/auto body place to take the car. We asked since the place suggested was an hour and 10 minutes from our house would they help us out at all with cost. Joe said his boss said no. I am writing this review because this truck that we purchased my son put ever penny into for transportation for work. We know it was sold "as is", we know also we paid more than the worth of the vehicle leaving no room for repairs on an as is car but my son needed a car. In this day and age with so many people just about making ends meet we thought human kindness and reflecting on how hard it is for everyone right now that it would have driven the boss to even offer a small token maybe 200 dollars toward repairs. We knew we bought "as is" but one week and a transmission goes who would be able to sleep at night knowing that a young guy put ever penny into a vehicle and now needs to come up with over 1500 maybe more to repair. So, whether you decide to purchase here or not just know whoever owns this lot doesn't have much of a heart. I guess that's how you make money with fools like us that trust people and naively believe who would ever not stand by a car that drove off the lot 7 days ago and burned a transmission whether it is as is or not. Again we weren't asking for return of the vehicle or all our money back we were asking for a small monetary contribution toward a repair. Maybe the boss will have a change of heart. sold me a lemon that broke down days after buying off the lot. would avoid this place at all costs

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THIS PLACE SELLS JUNK CARS AND DISGUISES THEM AS BEING IN GOOD CONDITION. RUN DO NOT WALK OUT OF HERE. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST CROOKS!! Anthony is the number one crook. Upon purchasing my Acura, I was told that the vehicle was in good condition. Yes, I know that I should have had a mechanic confirm this was the case, but I actually trusted them. Wrong move! They said that they replaced the brakes and rotors, but now just 3 months later the brakes are completely gone. Basically metal on metal. They are liars! Watch out! On to the next problem. After a month of owning the vehicle, my transmission light came on and I decided to take my Acura to the Acura dealership directly. Acura confirmed the following issues: * transmission was shot, * motor mounts were warped * oil pump and power steering pump were never replaced * vehicle needed a wheel alignment Of course by this time I was fuming because I only owned this vehicle for one month. When I took it back to Anthony at M&R Auto Sales and showed him the list of issues from the Acura dealer, he refused to address all of the issues. He only said that he would rebuild the transmission. Really?? I only owned the car for one month, and it was still under the lemon law, yet they will only rebuild the transmission? What great customer service this place has. After rebuilding the transmission I learned that they used after market motor mounts which caused my Acura to vibrate. I brought the car back 3 more times and the problems still persisted and persist to this day. The car is pretty much not drivable at this time so I am paying for a car that won't drive. They refuse to resolve the issues and instead said that I can take them court and they will have their lawyers address this. I am in the process of taking them to court and also calling Help Me Howard on them. This place is by far the worst of the worst. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY SO MUCH AS A TIRE FROM THEM!! read more

I was worried because of the reviews and I totally get everyone's experience is different but for me I can't complain. M & R helped me at a time I didn't know where to go. Just like any business they're goal is to sell me something. When you head to a buy here pay here, it's likely because you don't have the credit to get what you want or the paperwork, let's be honest. So your expectations should be as low as your credit score!!! You did this not them ‍‍. Anyway....I did get a car that had some minor issues. Appointments were made to fix the repairs. I do wish there was weekend availability for repairs because taking off work for repairs is just not realistic. Buying a car and not being able to use it can drive you insane but I was happy the job got done. I've had the car almost a year and if I had to, I'd buy another car from M & R. I bought a truck a couple years ago, I had to put 5000 dollars in repairs. After the the repairs it still did not fix the original issue with the truck which was over heating . I then had the block chemically tested and oil and coolant was mixing together which is head gasket. I reached out to the dealership and let them know that I'm having trouble keeping up with the payments because of the repairs. The receptionist told me we will figure it out and to keep them posted, shortly after that the car was repossessed from my mechanics property. I then got summoned to court and they said I owe 942 dollars in repairs and that the head gasket was perfectly fine. They 100 percent replaced the gaskets and lied about the problem said they sold the truck already. The biggest part of my issue is that they lied and fixed the truck and decided to pursue money from me after all I went through with the truck . They are horrible human beings and only care about what benefits them. If you buy a car from here make sure you check the cars thoroughly , once you sign the car fax on the vehicle your rights are completely gone. Stay away from this dealership if they have a chance they will take advantage. read more

This place is the far from worst please run from this place do not buy a car from them!!!! I purchased a vehicle here and the car was already giving problems they are crooks and scammers they will take all your money! They are liars saying the plates and tag is extra then what u already put down on the car!! You put down money on the vehicle then they supposed to let u know when your plates come in! Which they DID NOT!!!! They will tell you to pay the extra money first then they will get your plates and your registration and plates is 1,000 more plus the amount you put down on the car!!! Then they threaten you saying If you don't make a payment of the 1,000 for your registration and plates we going to repo the car when the car note don't have nothing to do with the plates and registration!!! And remind you I just bought this car only had it for a month only!!! No car payments is behind! Please beware of these crooks they will steal your money and make u pay them extra!!! They are supposed to do everything when u purchase the car not after! Please run run run and don't walk!!! Coming here was probably the worst decision i made in my life , lost alot of my hard working money in a garbage car they sold me and gave me 0 warranty for . Rusted parts and everything. Once i gave them the car back i got no money back & it was back out on their lot in less than a week . Probably still with the same problems that I returned it with . so dont get ripped off .
