I came here for lunch earlier this month with my girlfriends and I was just thunderstruck by how such a stunning and elegant restaurant could exist inside of a hospital (I have worked at many hospitals across the country before)!! Our server was so patient with us and answered all of our questions. He also gave fantastic suggestions. My favorite item that we ordered would have to be the burrata. It was on top of a thick slice of sourdough bread with tomato jam (so clever and delicious) in between and a herby/garlicky pesto on top. Every single bite was heavenly and I could eat it every day! The mediterranean nachos were deceiving because it was more like a platter of hummus/tzatziki than nachos and the pita was way too salty. The steak frites was a little overcooked to medium well when we asked for med rare, but truffle fries were delicious of course. The food was excellent but the price was overrated for the quantity given. I feel if you're going to have a nice upscale restaurant and be the only one in a medical facility where most are coming to get treatment for life enduring situations you shouldn't gauge them with high prices and then offer low quantity of food. I had a soup and small salad and my husband had a noodle entree. We drank water and our bill was over $50 as we also ordered bread as an appetizer for $8 because the meals and entrees at this "fine dining" "seated/made to order" restaurant doesn't come with bread or sides entrees. Their menu choices are also limited but the staff were cordial, efficient and did a great job. It's a beautiful setting for a celebration or a nicer night out, and it photographs well, too. Appetizers and desserts are where this place truly shines. During our graduation reception, we were treated to an impressive array of small bites -- all beautifully presented and genuinely delicious. Highlights included: Tuna poke tacos - fresh, bright, and delicately crunchy Avocado deviled eggs - creamy with a nice twist Truffle ricotta arancini - rich, savory, and a hit all around Desserts, especially the cannolis, were memorable and well-balanced The charcuterie board was artfully done with a well-rounded selection, including dried fruits and nuts -- definitely not an afterthought Unfortunately, the entrees have consistently disappointed me. Just went to another incredible International dinner at M Brothers. The menu was Sicilian food and wines. The service was excellent with informed staff explaining each course as well as people available to explain the wine. Can't believe I have not been to this hidden jewel , but then I make my appointments early morning at Mayo. Went for lunch and was so impressed with the dinning room. Full tablecloths that just adds so much to the decor plus a touch of elegance (for a hospital handling patients from ALL over the world). Just the perfect touch. Our waitress, Julia was over the top with a beautiful smile and offered up great suggestions. We ordered the French Dip (OH MY YUM) and Asian salad with salmon (asked how to cook the salmon, which was amazing) Both were excellent and just a note that the au jus for dipping was very flavorful. The truffle fries added the extra kick, suggestion from Julia. Thank you for a wonderful experience and if you are at/near Mayo you need to stop by. Really good food in a surprising place! Met friends for late lunch after one had an appointment at this absolute little treasure I had the burger and wow! It was thick, juicy, flavorful and cooked exactly right (medium). I was blown away! I also really enjoyed the fries. I also sampled from someone else's plate the shrimp etouffee. It was a unique twist with a grit cake instead of the traditional rice, and it did not disappoint. The New Orleans native with us gave it a thumbs up too, which says a lot about its authenticity and flavor! The salads (a house salad and a Caesar salad) I sampled (again from other plates) were also fresh and well-prepared, a perfect complement to the meal. The only not great item was the baked potato soup. Almost seemed just like runny mashed potatoes. I hoped for a chunkier thicker soup. It was ok - just not my style. Additionally, the service was perfection. Our server truly anticipated a lot of our needs and all employees we interacted with were super accommodating for our situation (the main dining area was closed as it was late for lunch and early for dinner) and we needed to fit a wheelchair and larger party. Food: 5 Stars Service: 5 Stars A true hidden gem is M Brothers at Mayo Clinic. Yes, you read that correctly- at Mayo Clinic. Their menu has a focus on fresh seafood with an Asian and Mediterranean flair. I felt it was versatile enough to where there was something for everyone, even for the occasional picky diner. Their friendly staff, innovative dishes, and elegant ambiance has me thinking about this experience over and over again. Some notes on the dishes we ordered: -House Made Bread: We were offered fresh sourdough and focaccia with olive oil, balsamic, and Maldon sea salt whipped butter. Sourdough had a beautiful crusty exterior and the focaccia was luscious. -Fried Chicken Bao Buns: These are a meal in itself! 3 plump bao buns were filled with crispy fried chicken dressed in a Korean inspired gochujang sesame glaze and topped with an Asian slaw and spicy aioli. Loved the different textures and bright combination of flavors. - Chef Bites: A simple sampling, we found each bite to be fresh and full of flavor. - Salmon Nicoise: A solid take on nicoise, the salmon filet was juicy and tender while the accompaniments were savory and herbaceous. - Short Rib & Pappardelle: This had to be my favorite! The short rib was tender and savory and paired well with the pappardelle dressed in a cream sauce with shiitake mushrooms. -Miso Soy Tuna Poke Bowl: Loved the fresh toppings of cucumber, wakame, edamame, avocado and carrots. The rice was a little undercooked for my liking, but I still enjoyed the bright flavors of this bowl. (Rice isn't like pasta and should not be served al dente. The only exception is Risotto.) I had come here for another lunch with friends Thursday around 12pm while busy they were easily able to seat us, and when we told her we needed to be done by 1pm Destiny our amazing server made it happen! I'm always weary of order tofu because usually it is really bland but my god their tofu was some of the most flavorful, smokey, reminded me of meat with the spices. It was amazing and I also got the ceaser salad and I'm completely obsessed with their thin croutons they add just the right crunch. M Brothers is our absolute favorite place to dine, celebrate and bring our families together. Last night we celebrated two birthdays and a son who is getting ready to deploy again. Dalvin (the awesome manager) is delightful and attentive and always gives top rate service, as does his entire staff. The food is incredible ( starting with the sour dough bread and going on to everything. The specials are always fun and wonderful including the soups and fresh fish). Last night was so special, and honestly so was Valentine's Day and my MILs 90th birthday party which family flew in from CA and Chicago. All were impressed with the delicious food ( with the variety of tastes!); the friendly service and the ambiance. They never rush you and it's not loud so it's ideal to have a leisurely five star meal with friends and family. It's located inside Mayo with free valet parking from the Cannaday building and the entrance to it all is beautiful. enjoy! read more

The setting has white table cloths and a quiet atmosphere, which may be just what you need depending on what brings you here today. It's a 'must try'. I had the pork belly bites - yum. And then I tried the vegetable pancit with shrimp. My shrimp was a little undercooked at first but they took care of it right away. Good flavor on the noodles. I ordered the buttermilk panna cotta for dessert. The panna cotta stole the show with its interesting presentation and flavor profile. Olive oil chantilly cream? Get out! We now hopefully have an annual tradition at least for a few more years as dad navigates complex advanced illness treatment at Mayo. Sandwich was a small filet (thin tail end portion with more grey line than i would expect). The filet size was disproportionate to the hearty brioche bun and thick slice of perfect tomato. I had a day of tests scheduled at the clinic on my BIRTHDAY, so I decided to treat myself to M Brothers. The room and atmosphere were lovely. The service was wonderful, also. After reading the reviews, I ordered the short rib with pasta as well as an order of bread. Oh my goodness! What a wonderful meal!!! This is not just a place to grab a bite, but this entree is worthy of any menu in any restaurant in any city. Yes, I t's that good. Luckily for us, we only live :15-:20 away from the Clinic. I've been getting some things done at Mayo so we decided to give this a try for lunch. I really love the decor there. It's very bistro like. My husband got the steak frites. The steak was well-prepared but could have used a bit more seasoning. We both enjoyed the arugula pistou. The roast beef sandwich was decent but the meat was a little dry. It really needed some au jus. We happened to go back a couple of weeks later and had the shrimp étouffée. Hands down and amazing dish. I don't know that I'd have anything else now when we go back. And we will go back but only if we're doing something at Mayo. It's worth going at least once. The ambiance is great. Service was solid. The food was a little bit of miss for us. My husband and I have frequented this Medure Brothers restaurant many times. The staff is young, enthusiastic and friendly. They aren't quite as experienced as the staff at Matthews but they are getting better. There was a couple at a table near ours who were doing FaceTime with someone. They were loud and annoying. There were times when they had the camera pointed in our direction and we could see ourselves in the background. Not cool! This guy who works at Mayo Clinic should know better about privacy! Went to try to get something after a long treatment day, multiple servers were not wearing mask inside the hospital (that requires mask for all employees and visitors). I was told the manager was aware of the situation. I would like to have eaten there but as a patient with a compromised immune system I could not take the chance that servers and potential cooks are not masked. I expect this when eating outside the hospital but inside the clinics I was shocked. Restaurant looked very nice and would love to try it when I am health enough.
