They handled the needed stucco repair before painting, the previous owner had done some patching and touch up that looked pretty rough, now it looks great. But the proof is in the pudding, we put our house on sale, at price that was above comps in the neighborhood and 5 days later sold it for $20k above asking price. A big part of why it sold so quickly is the house showed beautifully, best looking house on the street from the front. Great paint job, price was fair and dealing with Jeremiah was easy. This second time we had them paint various portions of the front and back or our home that had faded under the desert sun. This time the service was a little off, but was remedied without complaint. There were areas where the brush strokes were very apparent and Miller Painting immediately corrected those areas. They did try to upsell us a few times, but we were firm in what we wanted painted. When the job was complete they apologized for taking longer than expected, but it wasn't a big deal. Would use them again.

The pricing was reasonable and fair. He has kept the same team over the years and they work together well and are very respectful of the property. I wasn't sure what would become of the plants and cacti around the house but his team knows how to do work around them. I only had to trim the bougainvillea growing up the wall a little bit. When getting the estimate, Dave will explain what he is going to do for the prep work, like wash the exterior, caulk where it is needed, repair chips in the stucco, etc. He will ensure all your questions get answered along the way and that you are satisfied. He's been doing this a long time here in the Coachella valley and expertly knows house painting. In fact, he knows his paint colors so well, he can look at a white wall and know it's Dunn-Edwards name, like "oh, that's Swiss Coffee". When it comes to scheduling the job, Dave is "old school", carrying around his pencil and paper calendar. As we discussed timing during the visit for the estimate, I wasn't in a hurry but mentioned we had guest coming in a few weeks so that week would be out so any time after that would be fine. A few days after getting the bid, to my surprise, Dave called and said he would like to get started. Apparently he had some delays/set-backs from another job but because he cares about his team and wants to keep them working to get paid, he scheduled my house in early and completed the job before the guests arrived. I was trying to coat and seal the concrete pavers at my home, but ran out of time to get the job done before there were other changes that had to be made that would've interfered with this project. None of that situation was in any way Brian's fault though, he did everything in his power and then some to be able to complete my paver job on time. Then we had everything interfere from scheduling quirks to material unavailability and when push came to shove the timing to do this now just wasn't meant to be. But everything happens for a reason and I will be sure to use Brian and his family for any future projects that I have that is within his expertise.
