I had a meeting with another plastic surgeon in Del mar, California. His estimate was startling and well beyond what I could afford. I then went to see Dr. Lichtenberger and he explained to me that I didn't need to undergo unnecessary procedures to get what I was looking for. Instead, he felt that I could attain a natural look and that's exactly what he did for me at a reasonable cost. The office staff at Life Aesthetic Center, including Erin, Debbie and Dana, made me feel so much at home and so comfortable while undergoing the initial consultation, the preoperative appointment and finally the procedure and follow-up appointments, putting me at ease with lots of great information. Dr. Lichtenberger is one of the most sincere, patient and truly caring people I have ever met. He is an outstanding listener, and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question. Despite my nervousness prior to the procedures, he said that was normal and on the day of my procedures, he put me at ease the entire time. His surgical staff was also top-notch and I am grateful to them as well. We here in Bellingham are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Lichtenberger in our community. When I was done breastfeeding, I called to schedule my final session and specifically explained my situation to the employee who booked my appointment. A few weeks later, I drove an hour to my appointment, only to be told that I could not be treated because too much time had passed since my last session and I would need to reschedule. I explained that I had already disclosed this information when scheduling the appointment and that I had driven an hour to get there. While I understand that mistakes happen, the response I received was simply that they had new employees and that "we're only human." While I agree that everyone makes mistakes, that doesn't excuse the lack of professionalism or the dismissive way the situation was handled. I've spent a significant amount of money with this business, and this experience was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, because of how this was handled, I won't be returning or spending any more money here.

It was my first time trying this, and i was excited/nervous. I booked my appt online about a month prior and signed up for the cherry payment plan. I showed up and Sheila was very welcoming and answered all my questions. I felt at ease. My service was done and yes, it was uncomfortable but not unbearable. She had a great touch, and i loved the results immediately. The time came to pay and this is where things took a turn. I said i was using the cherry app and her behavior towards me completely changed. She said there was an $800 minimum to use it (my service was $700), but she was like "it's ok, I'll let it slide this time". But it was obviously NOT ok. Nowhere on the website was there a minimum mentioned. I had even called and left a message asking for more info about the cherry app and how i planned to use it and not once did someone mention "hey, you're booked for a $700 service, just fyi that doesn't meet our minimum". I told her i felt like she was actually not ok with this. I told her i did technically have the amount on me and could pay in full, it was just easier for me financially to make a few payments. She said she had everything prepared to use cherry, and so i was like ok...well, I'll just take her word for it i guess. Sheila was shakey and not making eye contact, and when i asked about a few different procedures for possibly trying in the future she was very vague and basically just tossed some pamphlets on my purse. I was whisked out the door and Sheila mentioned in passing that she "essentially paid for my service today". Really?! I looked it up- cherry takes on any financial responsibility and pays the provider within 24 hrs. You got your money, Sheila. Not to mention i payed it off promptly. She had forgotten to take before pictures and prior to this payment fiasco had asked if i could text her some pics of my lips. When i left the appt i did so, and then trying to be nice and smooth anything over i apologized for any miscommunication and thanked her again for letting the transaction through anyways. She left me on seen. That whole interaction left me feeling like trash. Her 5 star reviews are warranted for her talent, but I'm really disappointed in how my service ended. It turned something exciting and pampering into an experience that was weird and confusing.

I suffer from a kind of rare condition called 'Heel Fat Pad Atrophy'. conservative treatment over…read morea six month time die NOT relieve my heel pain. It was bad enough I had to cut back on dog walks (out Doodle was not happy with this). Reviewing the medical literature I found out there was a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of my condition. After multiple phone calls to clinics offering dermal fillers (mostly for cosmetic procedures) I found the practice of Dr. Anna Sylwestrowicz, MD . The office was very accommodating with my unique inquiry and agreed to meet with me just to discuss my diagnosis and treatment plan. One of the most vital requirements for a good medical outcome is a solid 'Doctor-Patient' relationship that starts with an open and frank discussion. I found my conversation with Dr. Anna (as she prefers to be addressed) to be all a patient could ask for. We jointly came up with a plan, discussed the various dermal fillers on the market, her experience with their use, possible outcomes and hoped for outcomes. I agreed to the procedure. Three weeks before the start of my hike, Dr. Anna injected my left heel pad with dermal filler. The procedure itself was tolerable and I walk out of the office with an order to 'take it easy' with my walking. For the first 5-6 days I was sore at the injection site but that was too be expected. After a week, I restarted my daily dog walks (much to the pleasure of our Doodle) and gradually increased my mileage. On April 23rd, 2026 I found my self hiking south on the Appalachian Trail from the small village of Damascus, Virginia. I was planned on keeping my daily mileage under 20km while carrying 15kg of pack. At that point, my heel was pain free. I hiked for a month pain free. I ended this section of the Trail in the very tourist town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This was a distance of 400km-pain free! Considering the pain, I was in prior to the injection of dermal filler this was a remarkable medical outcome. I am very, very pleased. As for the future, there are 333km left for me to complete. I will be back to the Trail in September for finish that section. Thank you to Dr. Anna and her staff in joining me on this journey!
