Visited the new location on Girard Street for a dip manicure. Appointment was at 5pm, I wasn't seen until 5:15. They serve lumpia & fruit while you wait, which is unusual but welcomed! Tina did my nails. The nail polish removal process was a little heavy handed, and I felt the drill burn/heat a few times. No cuticle care/cleaning was done. Tina informed me the dip powder example nails weren't made yet, so I would have to choose my color from a big box of new dip powder tubs. I sat on the ground and picked through colors until I found a purple powder that looked bright, almost neon. After she put on a coat or two, I noticed it was looking extremely dark. I mentioned it, asking if it would lighten, and she gave an uncertain response and kept painting. I'll admit I should have pushed back at this point, but I assumed as the nail technician, she should be familiar with her materials & be able to advise me on color. She said even if it turned out darker than I wanted, she could fix it with a gel top coat. We continued and it became clear it was NOT the color I selected. It was more than several shades darker, practically wine colored - something I would have had no way of knowing from the powder color itself. However, I'd been there an hour already and wasn't interested in staying longer, and she wasn't offering to fix or adjust the color in any way, so I ended up having to keep it. In the end, a gel top coat wasn't an option since it would just look muddy on top of an already dark color. The manicure itself was fairly average (no nail thickness shaping or cuticle care, and sloppy edges) & reasonable for the price I paid ($40 after a 20% off promotion during their first week at the new location). I would have given a 3/3.5 star review, but the mishap with the color really frustrated me. Update: 4 days in and I have a chip on two nails. read more

The pedicures were wonderful. They were able to take my sister and I as walk ins with my 4 year old niece (who had a special pedicure chair). It was my nieces first pedicure, and they were great with her! Overall, the experience was great! read more

This is a lovely little place on Northwest Avenue with plenty of parking in a quiet strip mall close to Yeager's. I called ahead of time to make sure I could get in which was a very good idea because they quickly filled up even though they had just opened. I was welcomed with my choice of beverage. They offer everything from water to Mimosas. My pedicure was very nice- the technician expertly and gently trimmed my nails and tended to my cuticles, then massaged my feet and calves with exfoliants and moisturizer. She did an excellent job. My daughter, mother, and I went for mani-pedis. I hadn't been there before and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service--definitely more of a spa experience than your regular nail salon. Pedicure came with a paraffin wax treatment and hot stone massage. My daughter really, really wanted acrylic nails and I told her no, because I'd only made an appointment for the basic service, but they were easily able to accommodate her. I've been coming here for about a year off and on, I usually get my brows done which is what I did this last appointment. She ended up ripping off my eyebrow making it a patchy mess. If I used a brow pencil it looked fine since there was enough hair left to shape it. 4 star is appropriate cause they handled the situation fine. I went in for a gel color change. The first color change was incredibly sloppy. They offered to re-paint them. I made an appointment for the re-paint. When I arrived, the young lady working argued with me about what time my appointment was...then rather rudely told me she guessed she could do it. Another sloppy job. She filed them crooked and lost the almond shape. The polish is thick and bumpy. One of my nails is barely painted at all. I am disappointed and would not recommend this nail salon. read more

Started chipping within a day or two and overall didn't feel like it was "deluxe" (as advertised). Nice to get snacks and drinks, but the ambiance was not there. This is a tough one. This was my first time here and am in search of finding a new nail salon. If I could rate solely on service, it would be a 5. I was acknowledged and greeted when I arrived for my appointed, offered water, wine, or mimosa and snack plate, and the staff seemed very nice. If I had to rate solely on quality, it would be a 3. I got a pedicure and a back fill. A pedicure is only offered to be a Deluxe Pedicure and is $40. It felt nice, but no massage, seemed rushed, and wasn't thrilled with the paint job. To me, it wasn't worth it and over priced. Also, if you want a design, it's $7. Too expensive to me. The back fill was $40 and my nails are okay, not overly impressed, but like them. Walking out paying $80, plus tip......not sure this is the place for me. Maybe I'm too cheap? I'm used to $25 pedicures, $35 fills, lined pedicure tubs, and this seemed overpriced for the quality. I called and made an appt. for 2:30. Showed up ten minutes before and sat in the waiting area. Salon was clean and was given an egg roll and fruit while I waited. Around 2:30, three others walked in for their 2:30 appointment. It was obvious they forgot they had booked them but proceeded to help them immediately. I waited for another 20-30 minutes before they brought me to the table and continued to soak my nails for another 15 minutes. I saw the girl next to me had wine and they offered her a refill but didn't bother to check if I would like anything. After soaking they asked if I wanted to pick out the color and brought over the color swatches. Obviously just killing time until someone was available to do my nails. My nail lady was nice and apologized for the wait. She shaped my nails and cleaned them up. I was happy with her work. Then another woman came over to paint my nails. She didn't polish the edges or bottom of my nail, making it look as though they were already grown out. She seemed very rushed and really didn't pay attention to the gaps on the sides missing polish. I then got a hand massage and hot wax, which was nice. It was $35 dollars for a gel manicure. Maybe it was just my nail technician who did a poor job, some of the other girls had beautiful nails that I could see. My mani pedi didn't even last through the night. I had to clean up a lot of gel polish on my skin right after the appointment, including literally clipping it off my toes with nail clippers. I noticed that the gel was really lumpy but I figured "it's black, no one will notice." Turns out the lumpy-ness was from air bubbles just waiting to burst like a blister. Which is what happened to my big toe less than 12 hours later. Also my right big toe was trimmed *really* hardcore. No one has ever trimmed my toenail down that far or at that angle before. It's now red and swollen and it feels like the rough line at the edge is digging into my skin. I've gotten less than stellar nail work done in my life but this is unacceptable. Update: it's been a couple days and every fingernail is chipping and one toenail is completely polish-less because it just fell off in the shower. read more

Me and my friend went to this salon based on what a mutual friend of ours said, they said it was a good salon. So we did decided to go we made and appointment by the time we sat in the chair at least 5 walk-ins came in and went before us and they had no appointment. The nail tech did my friends nails first, Which was fine I had no problem with that. The issue was after she was done I watched her move over to me and use the same tools that she used on my friend on me. She didn't switch anything. By the time I got my fill set on the nail tech was rough, after looking at my nails she didn't even cover my full nail with acrylics. Yes! It's true!! Perfect 10 is a perfect 10 . I am a reformer nail biter and cannot polish my own nails (just never learned) so if I want my nails to look decent, I am dependent on getting a manicure..make that a gel manicure. I have no right to be as particular as I am (since I can't do it myself) but little imperfections bother me.. uneven filing, less than perfect polish (if you are like me you know what I mean). Perfect 10 every one who walks through the door is treated as a welcome guest. You are offered something to drink and eat (every time!) This place is spacious and sparkling clean and peaceful too. My lady her name is "Nut" and I am probably spelling it wrong but she is obviously a perfectionist as my nails are perfect in every way. I won't be going back. I asked for a short stiletto shaped nail set and it's not what I got. After being there for hours, being bounced around from staff to staff and chair to chair I left with stubby short round nails. They are thick and uneven. My fingers HURT! I was burnt with the dremel sanding tool more than once. One lady tried to press my skin down to separate it from my actual finger nail! My pointer finger on my left hand is swollen, red and throbbing. After this horrible experience they still charged me $65.. mark up after mark up that's not listed in their prices. Worst nails ever!! I also got a pedicure. It was nice. They give you fruit and a mimosa. But it isn't worth the hell I went through and am left with. read more

Reviews are so subjective so I thought i would check it out myself and brought my husband with me for a mani pedi. The place was full but we didn't have to,wait long past our appointment time before we were seated. The woman did both of us, going back and forth without making us feel neglected. She was so soft spoken, I did not get her name. But she was wonderful. We were a little disappointed in the manicure as it took less than 20 minutes. My nails were uneven and not symmetrical. No polish for either of us so felt a little cheated. It didn't help that my gal was on her phone the entire time and even ran out of the room a couple of times to talk outside in Private. With all that said, the most important thing to me is the cleanliness. I watched as the only man there swept the floor anytime there was a mess. He cleaned the foot bowls thoroughly. Because of previous comments, I watched as he took each kit and put the used tools into the proper cleaning treatment. I watched as he put them back together and restock the carts. I was very impressed by the cleanliness. I liked the waterfall on the windows, the TV with the beach scene and the little girl pedi chairs. The snacks and beverages are a nice touch but is probably the last reason I would return. They will see us again. I do agree that their prices need to be posted so you know what to expect since I also wasn't asked what we wanted. But for what we got, we were ok with the amount we paid. read more

My fiancé and I came to this nail shop just looking to get both our mani and pedis done. When you're walking in the workers will offer you mimosas, water/juice or fruit. The establishment is very unorganized, my fiancé was moved 3 times because there wasn't a set table that her nail tech was working at. After my pedi was finished I was waiting for the nail tech to get to my mani but she forgot and I was over with the experience. I went in yesterday for a mani/pedi. It was busy and I did wait a bit, but I didn't mind. The service was great. I asked for orange chrome nails as orange is one of the colors for a wedding I'm going to be in. This is my first time getting chrome nails. The chrome powder they had was turning my whole nail silver. I was a little nervous as different ways of applying it wasn't working. I am grateful and impressed the ladies worked together until the color was correct, they had to try a couple of different powders. My toes look great too! Super cute nail spot! I went to Twee as one of my friends recommended her. She does such fun designs!! I thought I might as well try out this new spot since I've heard other people reccomend it. Very cute inside. I saw they offered fruit and egg rolls and mimosas! The atmosphere is cheery and it seems to be very clean. I really enjoyed chatting with Twee and she paid a lot of detail to my shaping and my nails feel solid, plus the gel is perfectly painted on. I'm looking forward to coming again. First of all, the only reason I'm even giving 1 star is because the woman who did my full set (don't know her name) did a really good job and was very sweet. I decided to try this place because the girl who has done by nails for years started working there. She wasn't working when I needed to come in but I figured I would check it out anyway and take a chance. The inside of the salon looks pretty nice, better than the average cheap salon. Everything was relatively fine until it was time for my pedicure. The gal doing my pedicure obviously has had little to no experience. My toenails were filed unevenly, she didn't really address my dry heels and the polish job was embarrassing. Not to mention she did a half assed, 3 second limp noodle massage and then just left... the other woman who did my full set came over and started trying to fix my pedicure without me even having to say anything. That's how bad it was. To make matters even worse, I go to pay and they charged me 90 DOLLARS for a full set and THE WORST PEDICURE OF MY LIFE. 90 dollars, BEFORE a tip. That's insane!!!!! No apology, no nothing. I'm so very disappointed. I don't get to treat myself. Very often so when I do I really look forward to it. This place is not worth the extra money and I will be going back to my regular place where I get a 20 minute foot massage, and an excellent pedicure for less money. read more

I have only been here once and Tina did my nails but they are the best nails I've ever gotten anywhere! If I could give her 10 stars I would. I am very picky but these nails are sculpted beautifully and very even. The nails are straight with a perfect C curve and sharp corners on my coffin nails. Not enough mimosas in the world to not notice unsanitary and poor quality practices in this nail salon. One of the worst salons I've been in. Very overpriced for subpar results. The tools were not clean and they kept insisting on doing gel or acrylic nails when I wasn't interested and only offered clear regular nail polish when I started to back out from a manicure and pedicure all together. They applied the wrong color and did a horrible job with my friend's and my pedicure. I can do a much better job at home and save $70 plus tip. Im from out of time but when visiting Bellingham again, my friend and I will go elsewhere. Oh yes, the lady took off her gloves and never wore a mask the entire time!
