We pulled into the closest gas station to fill the tire with air thinking it was a simple fix. However, when we left the gas station and resumed our trip, the tire pressure monitoring system threw another light and we saw the tire pressure on the dash go from 32 PSI to 26 PSI in a matter seconds. I had my wife look up the closest tire shop, and we found Bruce's Tire. I called them while we were driving there to see if we needed to make an appt. and the guy that picked up the phone told us to just drop by. I forgot the name of the guy that helped me but he was really easy to work with. I told him I called earlier regarding a flat and he immediately had a mechanic take off the tire for inspection. Turns out there was a nail in the sidewall and couldn't be patched. I was under the impression that I was going to pay for the tire replacement. But it turns out, because it was a rental from Enterprise, he was able to get it covered 100%. We were in and out of there no more than 30 minutes. These guys are terrific and I recommend them 100%.

We were in & out in about 2 1/2 hours on the road, with a lifetime warranty from O'Reiley's for the pump & a year warranty for the service, good at any ASE certified mechanic, at a price that seemed right in the middle of the low to high price estimate I found online... Glad to be back on the road to home in the North Bay with my family after driving up from Mexico. Thanks guys for the good job and the quick service !! This review is not a reflection of him, just wanted to let Yelp community know what happened in my case. Important to note I've had prior interior detailing done on my car at other places, and it's never looked like this after taking it in anywhere. The last time I had this done it literally was like a new car, even with a new car smell that lasted MONTHS! Interior Detailing: After inspecting the car I thought the seat stains were for the most part out, so I left. I figured it was better than before for the price I paid, which was like less than 50% what you pay in Bay Area (note that I inspected on a hot sunny day, so pretty bright outside). I figured at least someone cleaned it for me and I'd try to take out the stains myself later as I know it can be done. There was no car wash, no car deodorizer, and to be honest I'm not even sure what was used to clean the dashboard because there was no smell of anything. A few days later all the stains came back with a vengeance, and I felt super ripped off as a female as I now have to go spend money again to get it cleaned how it was supposed to. I don't have any pets, or kids, and literally just had some drive-thru food spills. The backseat was also still dirty, and that didn't even have food stains, just dirt/sand. The only thing that got cleaned or seemed much better were the carpet areas. After calling other places and telling them my experience, it seems like it boils down to the equipment being used. In this case it was not the type to do a professional deep steam cleaning, at least not on car upholstery. A coworker had asked me about my car as I was super excited to get it cleaned locally, but I seriously wouldn't take it back nor try again to get it cleaned if offered.

My car broke down on the I5 yesterday and I was stuck in the center divide in triple digits heat…read more Initially I got into contact with a different roadside assistance company (not towing) who said they could come to the car to try and resolve the mechanical issue. That ended up being a bust and costing money and 5 hours of my time for nothing. Luckily I booked a tow truck through our cc benefits to save on the cost. The dispatcher confirmed that this company and provided an ETA of about 60-90mins. They did include a disclaimer that drivers are not obligated to allow passengers and it's at their discretion. This mattered to me since I was nearly 100 miles from home and had been stranded for hours in 106 degree weather. I then contacted the driver directly and he confirmed that I could join him in the truck and that he would be be there in one hour (this ETA was not unreasonable considering I was in the middle of no where). He even arrived a few minutes early than expected. After a very stressful day, the professional and friendly attitude of the driver felt like a saving grace. My car (and I) made it home safely and timely. I live in congested part of town but the driver was able to handle it with ease. He was even nice enough to help me push the car into a parking spot in my apartment building's garage. The costumer service is A+++ If ever find yourself in need of roadside assistance in Northern California area, I highly recommend this company.

Then after an hour on a 100 degree day, my insurance had still not found a tow truck to come bring my car to a tire shop. So I called some places and Bill answered my call. I was in a bad reception area so there was some confusion about where exactly I was, but he got to me as soon as he could. He had all the right tools to inflate my spare, remove the busted tire, put on the spare, and even directed us to several local places where we could get a new tire. Then when we hot to the tire shop, I realized Bill still had my wheel lock which was essential to getting the spare tire off. I called him up and he immediately apologized and said he would bring the wheel lock to the shop. It's truly amazing to find someone so genuinely transparent and communicative and who admitted to the mistake. Call them up if you need roadside help. Avila truly cares. Thank you Bill!

Edwin took care of my out of town break down…read more Late on a Thursday afternoon my '82 El Camino broke down on I 5. Seems the AC unit froze up breaking the belt... which then cascaded and got tangled up with other belts in the pulley system. Lost my AC, water pump, and alternator. I had called a couple of shops and no one thought they could have the car completed the same day. Doc's towing recommended Edwin's and called ahead to confirm if Edwin could replace the belts before closing. Edwin said he could and ordered up the belts prior to my arrival. I am so thankful that Edwin stayed 1/2 hour past closing wrapping up my vehicle. He got me back on the road saving me a rent-a-car for the weekend as I needed to get up to Sonoma Raceway. Breaking down out of town frequently instills fear of being "taken" due to the urgency of the situation. Edwin's was very very fair in price. If I lived in the area I would make Edwin's my go-to mechanic.
